Office staff is very inviting and make you feel at home. Move in day went smoothly for us, we had our rent paid early, it was quick & easy. Sent any small problems we had to maintenance and I know with so many people in at once, they will get our requests done as quickly as they can. Loving it here so far!!

I havent even moved in yet and I’m already having problems. Today is move in day and their office is closed… I called several times and no one answered. I have been trying to pay the rent for weeks now but the new online platform does not tell you how much you owe. When I called the office they told me that on move in day the amount due would appear on the website and it is not there. It only gives you the option to pay without telling you how much you owe. When the new management took over there was no notice what so ever. They removed the previous website without having the new website published and ready for use. For months there was no platform for the crossings and it was incredibly frustrating. On top of that I had to sign a new lease that had many errors. This entire process has been a pain and it’s a shame that I have so many complaints before I have even step foot into my apartment.

Do not rent from these people. We signed a lease thinking we were getting central air when the unit was broken the whole time. Now they can only provide us with two window units in the bedrooms, not even in the living room or kitchen. Cant do anything about the furniture I will now need to move. Ridiculous and not worth the expensive rent.

This place is awful. We came here and immediately realized we had a broken AC unit. It took us days to actually get a hold of the office because they always either close early or do not answer their phones. After about a week and a half of back and forth with them, we finally had someone from maintenance come out and look at our AC unit, and were told that it would not be able to be fixed until spring. We got a temporary AC unit that works ok, but it causes our electricity bill to shoot through the roof despite the fact that our AC is supposed to be included in our rent and this broken AC unit is their fault. The parking situation is also ridiculous, only 22 guest parking spots for an entire apartment complex and people are constantly being towed, our vet can’t even come to check on our senior dog in the comfort of our own home because she has been towed here before. Everything is unorganized and chaotic. Do not move here. It is not worth the constant problems with management.

Absolutely abysmal, countless problems in the apartment including broken ac, dishwasher, sink, heating that stays on all winter, and slow maintenance. On top of this, even though we were specifically told by mail that towings would be halted, my car was towed from a non resident spot without notice. We were told multiple time written and verbally that I would not be towed and low and behold. Easily the worst managed and run place that Ive ever had the displeasure of interacting with. If you have any other option, dont come near here. If this is your last option, dont, and see about the income restricted housing next door instead, its undoubtedly higher quality

New management is already horrible. They don’t give you advanced notice for anything and manager of the office is very unpleasant and rude. They leave the office early so you might not get help if you ever need anything while they are supposed to be open. Do yourself a favor and live anywhere else. This place is nothing but headaches. Don’t listen to the new management excuse because personally I feel like the new management has been worst since they took over.

Weve been trying to pay the rent for several days now. There is no way to do this online. The website I used to use has disappeared. In addition, I have called the phone number 5 times this morning, and was disconnected all 5 times. We have asked management several times to replace the bathroom fan, which is clearly not working and had not been cleaned in months, since it likely a health hazard. The fan has not been replaced.

Good luck getting your AC fixed if it goes. I have talked to the property manager off and on since September of 2020 about it not working. It’s July 2021 and it is still not fixed. “Oh the HVAC guys will be out in a week or 2”“We have to order a part it’ll be 2-3 weeks” and countless of other excuses will be told to you. If their excuses and weaseling fixed things, this would be a 5 star complex people the world over would visit. However since that’s not the case, you be better off anywhere else. The maintenance team are the nicest people on the property. The property manager almost seems like it was a job just handed to her that she didn’t want and still has no interest in.

I cant pay the rent because since The Crossings was bought by a new company for the second time in as many years, the website our resident portals were hosted on no longer exists. Not only was my recurring payment cancelled, now there is no platform through which to pay rent online. They gave absolutely no advance notice of this, in fact they didnt even notify the residents that the complex was going to be under new management until AFTER it happened, and only through a physical letter, no emails have been sent despite emails being the main form of communication before this. There are many problems and so far the new management, Montium, has made it even worse.

If I could give this a negative star rating I would. Moved my son into a one-bedroom on 8-15-21. Filthy doesnt do it justice. Dead insects and mold beneath the kitchen sink, filth on threadbare carpet, fallen plaster on in all the rooms, air conditioning did not come through the bedroom vent, mold and fungus around the tub that was not caulked, mildew smell in entire apartment, laminate on front door delaminating at bottom, vinyl in entry came up when we vacuumed, broken beer bottles in beds near his building; balcony door is not flush when it closes. Dishwasher filter clogged with filth. We are contacting management today with pictures. Will follow up with comments and report on managements response and willingness to address quickly. As of August 24 management has been responsive and fixed most of the problems that i listed in my original review. We are thankful for their quick response and willingness to address them. Right now the only remaining issues are cleaning the carpet and fixing leaking condensation from the a/c line that is dripping on the tile ceiling. I am changing the review to three stars. It would be higher but I cannot ignore the condition of the apartment when we moved in. Again, I am complimenting Ms. Banks and her team for working with us to fix the apartment.Approximately a week ago the HVAC unit in my sons apartment died. We contacted management through email and they installed two window air conditioning units. We were told the entire HVAC unit had to be replaced and that it would take 4-6 weeks to get the replacement. First, glad they put in the window units but they will cost more than running the central unit that had to be replaced. We sent an email asking for a rent rebate and havent heard back. We also asked if that unit supplies heat. If it does, once the weather turns the apartment will not be heated. Again, no response. And one has to question why it takes 4-6 weeks to purchase and install a standard HVAC unit. So, while management has been responsive (Ms. Banks) up to now, management is ignoring our requests for responses. Will keep posting as things develop. As of September 7, management has not responded to my last post asking for an explanation of why it takes so long for a new HVAC system to be installed, whether it will be installed before the weather turns cold and relief for additional cost to run two window air conditioners. I am going to call today and ask for an explanation. Will keep this commentary updated.

I lived for two years during my sophomore and junior year of college giving me my first real home owners experience. Besides the wonderful accommodations provided with the apartment, it offered a lot more. Their staff stood out so much , during my stay I had issues with setting things up (being new to the homeowners world) and I vividly remember there being an Accounts Manager named Kathryn Wilson who made everything so simple , replied to everything fast and made living there a breeze. Their own sight staff who fixed problems at the complex were great as well. If you are looking for a place as a young adult I recommend the crossings. You will love it there and the staff as much as I did!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I lived there fall 2019-spring 2021 (all of my junior and senior years of college. The management team when I moved in was great, but the property management company changed in January 2020. After the change, the property started to get worse, and maintenance became a huge issue. Part of my ceiling collapsed in July 2020, and I had to put in work orders for a month before they could come and fix it (and the head of maintenance lives in the same building I did). Then, fall 2020, I had issues with the heating. Since my classes were all online, I requested a phone call to schedule anyone coming into my apartment, so I wouldnt have to interrupt class. In the middle of a class (a required class for my minor), maintenance gave me no notice except a knock, then rushed into my apartment, to see if heat was coming out of the vents (they claim it was, but I was still cold, with the heat at the highest setting it could go). Then, the head of maintenance gives me flack (and proceeds they perform preventative maintenance--apparently only when issues crop up). Then, on Halloween, the boiler system failed. It was only fixed that night, because the head of maintenance came home from trick or treating and thought wow, my apartment is cold. Ill see whats wrong. Then, the fire alarm system in that particular building had issues three times (generally the alarm rung for a minute or two). But, one time it was ringing for a good 5-10 minutes. I had to call 911 and tie up a Gloucester County 911 telecommunicator who said maintenance told us that its a faulty alarm. Maintenance nor management never told any of us about the issue.Since Im moving out at the end of July, I wanted to make my final rent payment online, to ensure they received it. However, when I went to do it, they disabled the online payment on their old system, and never set me up on the new system (which was launched on June 3rd 2021). I was calling frequently during the late morning/early afternoon, but received a generic please hold while we connect you to someone, which played for about 4 minutes then hung up. I emailed the property manager to call me yesterday, and have yet to receive a call from them.In addition to these issues, the new property management company told us that they would raise rent at the start of the 2020-2021 lease term. When I asked them if I could get a rent reduction, since I had a change in hours and we couldnt use the gym or pool due to COVID related restrictions, I was told that they wouldnt be doing any rent reductions during COVID. This means they preyed on students and employees of jobs within the critical infrastructure. One of their employees also smokes a fair amount of marijuana, which was extremely distracting, since I was in my apartment pretty much all day 5 or 6 days a week. They also refuse to make it safe to live, especially after someone getting shot. I only found out about that because I got a text from Rowan’s Public Safety Department

When I first moved here last year I was very optimistic thinking I wouldn’t run into many problems but I was wrong. The A/C problem others have mentioned is true. It would work for like a day or two when I first moved in and then completely stop working and these tiny apartments get very hot. I had to deal with a bill of $200 the first month just because the a/c wouldn’t work properly but good thing we got that resolved with the office staff and got credited back. But this year again when the weather got at an extreme the A/C again stopped working and had to call maintenance to fix it but because the office was closed I was told to wait till the next day to have the issue fixed. That was a huge problem for me being that I’m 7 months pregnant. I had to leave my apartment and stay at a family members house for two days until it got fixed. Other issues I’ve had which has been an annoyance for a year now is having a neighbor who likes to leave her trash in front of her door for days and I call the office each time and send out emails since they ask for photos of proof because they say it’s a violation but so far feels like nothing is ever done because this neighbor keeps having this nasty habit when the dumpster is literally 2 steps from her car. Each time we call we keep being told same thing that they are trying their best or when we ask to talk to Ryan the manager she never seems to be in the office always on vacation or something else. It’s frustrating having to deal with this. This neighbor would leave her apartment and leave the trash there instead of picking it up and throwing it out. She even had the audacity to move her trash in front of my door and leave it there a couple months back. It makes it very unpleasant to even open my door because the first thing u smell walking out is trash. And if left out there for days bugs end up surrounding it. One day I won’t be surprised if I see a raccoon or any other critter picking at the trash she leaves out. There is always a constant problem with other tenants or visitors taking the incorrect parking as well when there is an assigned parking with permits to each tenant and visitors parking is spots 1-20. Just trying to call the towing company that the complex provided us with especially when I first moved in was a hassle. The towing service has gotten better lately tho. The laundry machines are always having issues as well and even if we call the company to come in to fix it, it’s just never fixed being that there’s only two washers and two dryers. Some of the tenants also leave there cloths in the washers for days and at first we wouldn’t move there cloths out of the washers/dryers but because it became a constant problem waiting hours to see if was taken out , we started not to care and move out their cloths so we could do our laundry. Maintenance tries there best to fix issues inside of the apartment but sometimes it takes months of constantly calling to fix same issue before it’s fixed properly. I had issues with all my windows when I first moved in. Apparently none of the windows in my apartment were installed correctly or even correct size and causes it to be very hard to close completely and I’ve had problems with the window falling apart on me a couple times. My kitchen light keeps having an issue as well, not bright at all and contanstly flickers or won’t turn on until 10 tries and we talked to maintenance and keep being told that to change the light fixture is going to take a while because it’s on back order. It’s been almost 6 months now and nothing yet. We also have tenants or people that come into our complex from beau rivage that walk their dogs here and won’t clean up after them. There were a couple times I almost stepped on dog poop. Also make sure your car is locked, kids from beau rivage will get inside or throw rocks/bottles at cars. The community tho is not bad it’s very peaceful to live here other than the issues that haven’t been resolved yet. But I’m not sure I will want to renew for another year if I keep having to deal with these issues.

I was optimistic moving in here at the beginning of the year for my senior year but now that my school year is over there are a lot of things that I wish I knew:-The air conditioning situation was bad. It worked flawlessly for a few weeks, then stopped working. After talking with maintenance we found out the condenser froze and we would have to wait for it to thaw to use it again daily. This was annoying enough, but we then had to pay over $250 in the first month for the electric bill (for my small 2 bed 2 bath apt). This was most likely due to AC as our bill dropped to ~$40 a month during the winter. It has also been 75-80 degrees in our apt for a few weeks now but they are waiting until May 3rd to turn the AC back on.-Laundry was ok. Laundry room was in a basement that you have to crouch in if youre over 6 feet due to the drooping ceiling tiles. Machines worked most of the year but now only one of ours works. Our main issue was that the only way to pay for laundry was with a card that could only be recharged in the office (which is not open 24/7). They do not accept quarters or credit cards and there is no refill station in each laundry room. I have tried multiple times to refill online but it does not work. So, if youre out of money on your card and need to do a load of laundry at night, you have to wait until the next day.-There are a few broken things in my apt. My closet door is misaligned so I have to put something in front of it to keep it closed. Multiple parts to windows in our apt were broken/missing. I had ants crawling in a corner of my room even though I keep no food in my bedroom. Tons of various dents and bumps in the wall and spackled over holes with no paint. Also, the blinds in the windows barely block out light; it was very bright in my room so I had to purchase my own blackout curtains.-We were not able to use a good chunk of the amenities (pool, grill, rec room, sauna, etc.) due to the pandemic but we still had to pay full price each month. That being said, there were plenty of good things we experienced here:-Front desk staff were always nice and helpful. I never encountered a single rude person here.-Mail was easy. I never really had an issue dealing with mail.-Parking was simple. My roommate and I never had an issue with parking.-The apartment was mostly clean when we moved in, no visible mold or anything.Overall, I wish that I had spent more time looking around at other places to live but I would live here again had I brought my own air conditioner. My roommate and I are very uncomfortable trying to sleep in 80+ temperatures.

The leasing manager or specialist not sure, Gabby or Gabrielle dresses unprofessionally and is honestly not that smart let alone good at her job from what my friends have said. Would not recommend moving here. I had multiple issues with the crossings since the time I have moved in. In the summer the A/C did not work properly and was close to 90° the whole summer. My electric bill shot up using the A/C even though it did not work. Maintenance told us that it was just because the unit was older and there was nothing he could do about it. now the heat is not working in our building, both maintenance and the staff are rude over the phone especially Ryan the manager who you would think would be a little nicer since she is the manager. Instead of properly accommodating us by having us stay at another location or hotel they gave us a small broken space heater. They did say that they would provide us with another however I am staying the night over someone else’s house because that little space heater has no way of heating up my entire apartment properly. The heat has been out for a few days in our building and will be out for a few more according to the crossings, the only way I know is because I called them however they have yet to email the rest of the building to inform them they will not have heat for a few more days.. mind you it is in the middle of the winter...I am counting down the days until we are able to move out. Living at the crossings has been horrible.

According to Tenants Rights in New Jersey (2020) document, we have a right to live in safe and decent housing. For me, there is no excuse on why my apartment should reach a temperature of at least 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Also, I was told by the building manger that I am the only one experiencing this issue. Thus, my request was denied to be put me up in an hotel until the place can be deemed safe and decent to live in. More than likely, it should be self-evident that the insulation is either non-existent or lacking at this place or the building is not up to code.Insulation keeps the desired temperature in your house all year round, protecting it against cold in winter and excess heat in summer. Insulation is also useful to reduce noise pollution. Also, a well-insulated house is very energy efficient and will need very little additional heating and cooling. Also, good luck in trying to speak to someone who actually works there. When ever you call, more than likely you will have a third party representative answer the phone and wont even know it until you ask them. Even worse is that they claim they work for the company and are able to answer on behalf of the company. In reality they are useless and do very little to help you. All they do is tell you that they will contact the office and that someone contact you shortly. I have called multiple times and I am yet to receive a call back from anyone. Just awful customer service. The staff, landlord, and management should be ashamed. We have a right to live in safe and decent housing. My advice: AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

We’ve heard a lot of interesting reviews about The Crossing at Glassboro and I have to admit, it had us pretty concern from time-to-time.  But now, looking back I think about the majority of the type of people who live there and could be giving suchreviews, this allowed me to put things in perspective.  Not to mention that some of the legitimate thingspeople are complaining about are also out of the on-site management’s control. Most of the structure issues, repairs, contractors, and renovations are the decisions coming from the property owner. We were very fortunate to have lived for fourteen months in oneof the latest renovated apartments.  Itlooked really nice; however, the quality work of the renovation was poorly executed.  I know what it’s like runninga business (or two) and I feel the owner is doing himself an injustice in not trustinghis on-site management team to fully do their jobs.  It’s good to be informed and involved, justnot overbearing and controlling. My husband and I were in a situation where we desperately needed a temporary residence after selling our home and trying to figure outour next steps for buying or building a new home.  While we were faced with several challengesincluding our pet, The Crossing at Glassboro was the only place that gave us achance.  Our dog is a 70 – 75 lb mixed breed rescue that we put through 3 rounds of behavior training.  Most places would not allow us to move inwith our dog because of his size and potential breeds.  The Crossing trusted us and allowed us to bring him without even a thought.  It amazes us to see from the time we moved in how the number of dogs in the complex had tripled!  The worst part is that people were bringingthese pets in after their lease.  Thetenants (of all ages) were irresponsible with their pets; walking their dogs off the leash and not curbing their dogs. The rules were very simple…all people had to do was follow them or don’tlive there or have pets. The on-site management team work hard to make the Crossing an enjoyable experience for their tenants. They hosted fun events regularly, kept the premises as clean as the tenants would allow it.  They were very well organized and clear with all messages. We found them and the on-site maintenance team to be very professional, friendly and accommodating.  But when you are facing challenges from both the irresponsible tenants and an owner who likes to cut corners in areas he shouldn’t…your hands are tied.  The Crossing had a bad repetition due to the recklessness of wild college students in the past. They work very hard on changing those bad reputations and gainingcontrol over what happens moving forward. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you may want to consider The Crossing at Glassboro, remember, your experience will be as good as youmake it.  Respect the property, respectthe rules, respect the staff and you will get great results and fair experience.

The third time I thought I finally got somewhere only for them to clean it with bleach again but I mean at least they found the bursted pipe that time. After many more aggravating talks with the office Ive learned 1) they dont care that my bed is in my living room because I couldnt breathe and my throat was closing Everytime I was in there and 2) they refuse to hire some one to come make sure the mold is gone. NOT A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE! I have lived here for the past year and have many friends who have lived here over the past several years. So far I have been burglarized twice here and know many people who have had similar issues. First, my car was broken into while in my assigned parking space, window smashed and everything inside stolen. Second, my motorcycle was also stolen even though it was locked up.Their so called security is a joke. Under their contract, they only have to show up when they want to even though the reason Crossings hired security in the first place is because someone was SHOT on their property. The owners here do not care about their residents safety enough to even install 1 camera in the entire complex.Maintenance here tries their best, but there are too many issues that cannot be fixed. Theres nothing we can do is the only solution for any problem you will run into here. I had leaks coming from the ceiling causing mold so they just sprayed mold remover on it instead of fixing the actual problem. The apartments are not correctly wired, running the bathroom, kitchen and living room all on the same circuit. If I run the dishwasher and microwave at the same time the fuse will trip. I called maintenance about this and they said theres nothing they can do and instructed me to just dont use them at the same time. I proceeded to have an electrician look at it and they assured me that the entire apartment was not wired correctly. Finally, the parking here is a nightmare. 1 space per bedroom and 10 guest spots for nearly 1,000 residents.Save yourself the hassle and find a safe place to live with proper security before a thief comes to take thousands of dollars worth of YOUR stuff!

They will try to charge you $100 if you dont return the one time use sticker for your car, change rent due dates with no notice to get extra late fees. Huge rent increases every year even though the place just keeps getting worse. Dont live here, you can literally rent whole houses in Glassboro for the same price as this place.

I just moved in a month ago, and I’m honestly not having a good experience thus far. As other people have said in their reviews, when you move in the apartment is not clean. The carpets were so dusty, there was yellow gunk all over the stove knobs, and there’s a stale, musty type of smell in the apartment when u move in. I’m trying my best to get rid of it still. On top of that there were ants and ROACHES in the apartment!!! I honestly can’t wait until my lease is up. The only conveniences about living here are that there are stores walking distance, the staff has been nice and friendly thus far, and that I am able to walk to school since Rowan campus is right there. But honestly if I didn’t go to Rowan, I would never live here. I guess I’ll just have to make it work for this one year until my lease is up... But I will definitely be moving somewhere else after that.

Okay so living here has it pro’s and con’s. It’s close to campus which is nice.. however my gas was out for a week. No reimbursement because it was an “emergency” yet barely had money to eat out for food. Maintenance takes a while.. had a severe mosquito attack first moving in that lasted for a month. Cars also will get towed and they will do nothing about it even if you live there so don’t park in anyone’s spot because they will charge you $300 and not care. The pro as said close to campus, spacious and rent deferred if you’re a student.. other than that ridiculous.

Ive been at the Crossings for almost a year now, and have ALWAYS recommended this place to friends/family. Its a very cheap and convenient option to living close to campus without paying a fortune. The workers here have always been super helpful when needed, and definitely do their best to work with your accommodations. Every time maintenance is called for simple issues, they come within 2 hours and fix it right on hand, no questions asked. The Crossings always does multiple events during each month which really brings the complex together, they never disappoint. The only issue has been the parking, which they have really worked towards the past year with everyones issues and I definitely feel as though the towing service is a lot quicker now that it has been brought to the complexs attention. They offer so many facilities here, like a gym, a tanning bed, a pool, a grill, a turf court, etc. and every time I have used anything, it was always super clean and I was always satisfied with the outcome. I recommend this place to college students who need an easy and affordable place to live! Very clean, organized, and helpful workers who do anything to help out.

Winter was the only thing that could keep the bugs out due to how shoddy the construction was.Has a random selection process to keep you from seeing how bad the apartments are.Has just two show apartments that are maintained 100x better than the rest.Charge rent for the whole month of August, despite not being able to move in until the 17th.Apartment was messy when first moved in, spiders and crickets everywhere, “professional cleaning” (the justification for having to pay rent for August) was just vacuuming and sloppily painted over everything.Tape or anything else left on the wall was just painted over.Tiles in kitchen were cracked, tiles in bathroom were cracked, ceiling panels were misaligned (probably to let more bugs in,) garbage disposal was broken, heating and cooling system was broken.Smoke detector wasn’t attached to wall, battery was nearly dead and put in backwards, fire extinguisher was missing, stove and oven randomly smell like gas (great combination.)Keep receiving calls asking me to renew the lease, even after trying to get out of the current term for obvious reasons.0/10, would be cleaner, warmer, and safer, to just sleep outside in a tent.

I have nothing but good things to say about Campus Crossings: The apartment is spacious and well equipped, with new appliances and a fresh coat of paint everywhere you look. Its very quiet, and I find it a great place to work and study no matter what time of day or night. The staff is absolutely amazing! Any questions or request you may have are promptly taken care of, and they really go out of their way to help you in every single possible way. Having worked in customer service for six years, I can attest that their demeanor is beyond top notch. I have never experienced such remarkable service and they even remember my name when I come into the main office! They always have a smile on their faces, and that puts a smile on mine. I’d recommend Campus Crossings to anyone, in any walk of life, who is looking for a great environment at an abundant value!

Dear anyone considering living in the crossings in the future,My roommates and I have been living without functioning hot water since the 13th of February. After calling multiple times a day, every day, having maintenance come and check our unit multiple times, and having my own father reach out (to receive no call back from the manager) multiple times, we have had enough.Their solution for us not having hot water is to only use it during specific hours of the day according to when the volume of hot water is at its peak. Considering the fact that this is an apartment complex consisting of primarily college students, this simply is problematic. The hours of 6AM - 9AM and again from 8PM - 10PM are not conducive with the schedules of a majority of college students. Not only that, but even when you attempt to take the advice provided to you by management, the hot water still does not work. Because of this, my three roommates and I have had to carpool back home, over 25 minutes each way, on a daily basis, in order to shower. On the 20th of February I personally emailed management in regards to several issues associated with the property, ultimately requesting a reduction in rent. In response I was told, We usually dont do that here. Correct me if Im wrong, but no one should be paying for the utility of hot or cold water to not receive it. At this point, it is a matter of common sense. Landlords are required by law to provide a safe and livable environment. This includes the very basic item of hot water. The implied warranty of habitability included with every rental agreement is not being met here, and myself, as well as the rest of the residents of H and G building, are entitled to monetary compensation in the form of a reduction in rent.Again, The Crossings has done nothing but send out multiple emails repeating the same information and coming up with excuses as to why this matter has not been resolved or even improved on in any way whatsoever. This is a legitimate issue that is affecting our daily lives and it needs to be resolved.

Avoid this place at all costs. My roommates and I were shown a gorgeous apartment and were shocked when we moved in. Apartment wasnt clean and mold was found in the bathrooms and kitchen. Our apartment always smells disgusting (like dirty standing water) and a foul smell emits whenever we run the heat or AC. Our air conditioning unit breaks often also. The staff and maintenance crew are super nice but our actual apartment is terrible. Way too much money each month for the condition of the apartment.

I live in the most expensive apartment that you can rent out in this location. When I first got to the front door I could smell a very foul smell in the air. As I opened my door for the first time I realized the smell was coming from inside my apartment. I went out and got a carpet cleaner and cleaned the rugs numerous times to see that the water returning to the machine was indeed black. After I was done using the machine which I cleaned the rugs multiple times with the smell still lingered and the water was still black. I stopped cleaning it even though I did not clean the rugs perfectly because with the rent Im paying I shouldnt have to put this much work into the rugs. So I went to tell maintenance at my location about the problem in my place with the rugs. After they told me multiple times they couldnt smell a thing, they finally decided to fix this problem. At first they only put a drying fan on room with a smell pad on it saying it would do the trick. I complained that a rug can not be cleaned without actually putting force into the rug. My dad had to call and complain about this problem, which then the maintenance people decided to finally call for a carpet cleaner. I dont know what they told him but when I talked to them I was told it depended on what cleaner you use on the carpet for what result you will come up with. Moral of the story the walk through you do before renting is not a real showing of what you are renting out. Do not be fooled by the luxurious look of the demo apartment, you will most likely be finding different problems daily which onsite maintenance looked over before you moved in.

I lived at the crossings last year with 3 roommates and it absolutely sucked. when we first moved in, multiple things were broken. our front door didnt lock, we had no screen on our front window, the bathroom shelf fell off and nearly hit my roommate in the face. we had to clean everything when we first moved in because it was filthy which, is super confusing because when we moved out we got a checklist and had to clean everything which clearly was never checked before we moved in. all year we had problems like stepping in dog poop because people never cleaned up after their pets, the laundry machines in almost every building were broke all year, the machines took double your money regardless of what the price said, and we had solicitors knock on our door for a straight week which scared us a lot. in february when it was freezing outside, 2 buildings (including mine) did not have hot water for a whole month and anytime we called to ask what was going on, we were told we would get a call back and never did. lastly, when my roommates and i moved out in july, we had the apartment immaculate and everything was clean. there were 2 little stains of hair dye on the bathroom sink and they took $230 dollars out of our security deposit and never even replaced the vanity and then lied to us about it. no one even cleaned or fixed anything before we moved in and we had to deal with it all and we got charged 230$. my roommates and i were dissatisfied all year. i do not recommend living there!!

I currently live in crossing. The same thing that everyone is talking about is very true. There is a smell the emits from my dishwasher when I use it. Also a muggy smell just I general. AC unit has broken several times. I told mantience about a loud nose constantly coming from it. Their response probably just the a compressor. I wonder if something is wrong with it and thats why I had a 209 dollar eclectic bill my first week. They accept pets, but you have to put down a nonrefundable deposit of 300 dollars. Parking is horrific. The great community center only opens at 10 and most days closes at 7. Havent had time to use the machines once. I have the most expense apartment on the complex. The only nice thing about it is the kitchen. The rest of the supreme apartment looks very dated. I was planning on living here for the next three years (grad school) but will be looking else where. Right now there is a an apartment complex Rustic Village apartments that have a refundable pet deposit. Townhouses on campus was much worse, but this isnt much better. Also you cant have your air-conditioning on past October 2nd because they legally have to turn on heat. This year it has been consistently 75 or higher. Ive slept at other peoples house. I spend 980 a month to stay.

If I could give no stars, I would. I havent had consistent hot water in 13 days now and I have called 5 times within that time frame to ask for updates and they tell me We know somebody is working on it but we dont have any additional information at this point. WHO IS WORKING ON THE BOILER THAT ISNT CAPABLE OF FIXING IT IN 2 WEEKS!!! IT IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that I havent been able to shower in the last three days. This isnt the first time I have been disgusted with the Crossings as I had a leak in my bathroom for over a year and had at least 10 different maintenance guys ATTEMPT to fix. Their maintenance guys are all clueless and if there is an issue with your apartment or in the complex, dont expect it to be fixed anytime soon because they have no idea what they are doing. The outside contractors they hire must also be the cheapest around because it takes them 2+ weeks to fix a boiler and over a year to fix a leak in the bathroom. If you could find somewhere else to live, you absolutely should because I can not wait to leave this place and actually be able to live in a steady and healthy living space.

This is likely the worst spot to live in at Rowan. The first problem I have is that the unit I moved into was absolutely disgusting. I reported this to management, and none of this was taken care of. The carpets looked like they hadnt been vaccummed since the last residents. Also if you live on the bottom floor of the apartments, be prepared to have a hard time sleeping if the people above you move an inch. The front desk is just generally very inconsiderate people who will never make an exception or help you out only because its in the lease agreement. Finally whats the worst and most incompetent part of this whole mess of an apartment complex is the parking. They have assigned parking spaces which is pointless in the first place. And if you dont park in your spot because someone else parked in it theres a very good chance you get towed. Also dont expect to ever have anyone over your parking spot because there car is guaranteed to get towed within 20 minutes. So basicly the crossings at glassboro is total crap hole with rude employees, if you have another option I would recommend moving in there.

Double-occupancy fee, $300 pet deposit regardless if its a cat, dog, or FISH (this is assumed considering the Rule Book includes fish as a pet), the rent is decent if you live with at least one other person (but again, double occupancy fee if youre a 1bed1bath).Staff is on/off helpful. Depending on the people you talk to, they could either help solve your problem or just not understand it in the first place. One HUGE thing though. M O L D. All they do is clean with bleach and put tile over it. Even though yes, you can still smell it. Check your cabinets in your bathroom and under your sink!Quarterly inspections are a joke, pot heads and smokers easily get away with passing inspection (like several of my neighbors) while people that have just acquired animals can be fined $100+ and then have their lease terminated if too many violations occur. Plus smoking in general gets the four steps of fines: 1st is a warning, 2nd is a $25 fine, 3rd is a $50 fine, and 4th is $100. They could smoke and get caught, and still pay less in fines than the pet deposit, pet fee (about $50 added to your rent each month), and any fines. Which in my opinion, a smokers apartment is way less desirable than a pet owners apartment.Much or the staff is somewhat bias and unfair as well, as an example of my neighbor. They explained that they had one warning, and soon after it seemed like they were being targeted the entire rest of their stay.Youre honestly better off finding a slightly more expensive apartment complex that has less restrictions and rules. I kid you not Ive seen 4 neighbors move out, and they werent even students. Its truly a hit or a miss. Your call.
