We have a 2 year old house with thick pile carpet that started bunching up in ridges and needed to be stretched in a few rooms and in our upstairs hallway. Doug did a great job, took a few hours and he had to cut a new seam in the hallway and you cant see it unless you know where to look (and even then its tough.) Will use him when its time to clean the carpets. Great work!

I guess this is another proof positive, you get what you pay for.When Doug arrived, we showed him all carpeted areas needing cleaning... As he was bringing his equipment in, i told him i was aware not all of the stains were removable.. He glanced around at the carpet & said, yea, i think theyre all probably removableWhatever i thought, he would see! My carpets hadnt come really clean/clear of stains in so many years!I had to leave to an appointment while Doug was still hard at work...Imagine my surprise when i came home to stain free carpets in my entry, staircase, & hallway,,etc!!What!? Are you kidding me? I didnt even know that was possible!!I had been paying another guy just over a hundred a pop for the last 10plus years! And had grown used to be told, stains not removable, & the having the cleaners in out in a flash..I thought i had permanently stained carpets & tonight they look amazing! After reading a number of excellent reviews on my local Nextdoor website, I hired TLC to clean the living room carpet per our lease agreement. Doug is great! Very personable and professional, also very knowledgeable. Would recommend him to my friends and family anytime. Great job Doug! I didnt know that one could recolor a spot in the rug. The color was gone in about a 6 inch circle from a puppy accident and whatever I tried to clean it with 10 years ago. Doug and his daughter did their magic and now you cant tell where it was! No more hiding it with furniture.

Full disclosure. I know this guy. Have known him since we were 5 years old. Knew he did carpets and upholstery, have referred him to friends and family. I never needed him. I have my own carpet cleaner....Okay, well, let me tell you.... I ended up needing him... My husband and I live in the country, big dogs, muddy mole-hills in the yard the dog likes to dig in, and a really bad cat issue that I would rather not talk about. It was to the point that my husband and I decided there was no saving it (the carpet)... and really there isnt... We fully intend to completely re-do all the floors in the house.... but not before this Saturday (when we will be having last minute guests to celebrate my daughters graduation.) Okay, poor planing yes, but life happens. Because we had thrown in the towel, our poor carpet was in a state beyond that which normal people would walk on it without shoes. Really, really, that bad.. But why worry it is soon to be replaced and new, we dont get much in the way of visitors...It was beyond bad. What we came home to after Doug had been to the house, what SuperDougCarpetCleaniologist was able to accomplish was truly and sincerely amazing. I had new carpeting installed two years ago. The manufacturer advised me that I needed to have carpet cleaned every two years minimum by an IICRC certified carpet cleaner. I called Chem-Dry but learned their techs attended training but the manager reported they never paid for certification. Wanting to avoid voiding my warranty I called the store where I purchased my carpet. They recommended Doug Loose, TLC Carpet Cleaning. Doug maintains the carpeting in their showroom.Now I can and do recommend Doug to anyone needing their carpets cleaned. Setting up an appointment was a smooth process and he advised me not to worry about vacuuming my carpet. He thoroughly vacuumed all the carpeting prior to doing the cleaning. His extraction process left the carpet with minimum moisture and it dried quickly. He is both professional and friendly. Pricing was both fair and competitive. I plan to have him clean our carpets yearly rather than the two year manufacturer’s minimum requirement.And a post script... A week after he cleaned the carpet I dumped a cup of coffee and creamer. I followed recommended spill removal procedure but was still left with a stain. I called Doug and he was here this afternoon to complete the process and the stain is gone. In addition, though I didn’t need color repair on the carpet, I learned that Doug has Master’s Certification for color restoration…keep that bleach away from your carpet but if you mess up call Doug!!
