Could not ask or hope for a better place to buy a car. People are absolutely top notch, as good as they get. Ben Williams went way above and beyond to make it easy for my wife to get EXACTLY what she wanted in a vehicle. His boss is a champ too, never meet a more helpful lady. Finance was beyond easy, those folks are amazing, got a rate for me lower than the military credit union I have used for 20+ years.

I made arrangements online to have my Buick Encore serviced TWO WEEKS before scheduled date. When I arived at the service department at the appointed time, I was asked if I had an appointment. I verified that I did (I had the print-outs), but in response the service department assistant told me they have no record of my scheduled appointment (We already have our two oclock) and appeared irritated. I was asked if I made the appointment online, which I confirmed. The response I recieved at that point was similar to Well, we dont have a record of it. But well squeeze you in anyways.I didnt appreciated feeling like a nuisance.

Ben @ Auto Town Buick GMC is amazing to deal with he is definitely a true asset at this car lot. I do feel that he is way to busy and dose not always responsive.I am concerned about my warranty on my new used vehicle and being covered should something happen.When Ben first started the truck it had a lifter tick, but when I test drove it , it went away.the fact that the purchased warranty starts now along side the factory and will expirer before the factory ends so why purchase the warranty then.

Vehicle buying can be so fun yet so stressful. Fisher walked up to us and instantly took all the stress away. There was no pressure in his delivery and he was so informative!! He answered every question thoroughly. The other thing that really stood out about Fisher is he was very cognizant and respectful of our time and allowed us space to have private conversations. Absolutely poor service and communication with the salesman. Not only did he first assure me that he could honor the price listed by the Capital One website. But then I was told that they wouldnt be able to match only to find out that the vehicle I wanted was a service vehicle and therefore not for sale. Which to me says that the salesman did a poor job of actually looking into the vehicle that I sent him all the information for. I was then informed that there were 2021 options that were just a bit over what the other car was, but not until a day later. Had I been informed of that the previous day and still given the hope that I could be within my budget, I would have come out. I bought a car yesterday. It could have been from Auto Town Buick guys but instead after poor service, communication and lack of care --- I found a vehicle elsewhere. Really dont recommend this place.

I booked an appointment online for an oil change scheduled on 7/19 at 9 AM on 7/12. I arrive to the service department on 7/19 and I’m told that my car can’t be seen until 11 AM because there are three people ahead of me. I don’t exactly understand why my appointment didn’t reserve the 9 AM time slot but I figured I could wait. Then I was told it was going to be $90 for the oil change and tire rotation even tho I did not need a tire rotation the service advisor said she could knock 10 dollars off because I didn’t need it. This is when I ended up just leaving because this wasn’t even worth my time.I simply don’t understand why I was pushed back and why it was going to be so expensive for an oil change. Can’t say I would recommend buying a GMC in the Portland area none of these dealerships are even halfway decent at dealing with service.

1 star I bought a part from Auto Town Buick GMC to help a friend out. after buying the part I went to pickup my friends vehicle and they informed me that they remembered they had an extended warranty on the vehicle. I recommended that they just take the vehicle in to Auto Town, and only pay their $100 deductible. The next day I returned to Auto Town to return the part that I dont need any longer. Parts counterman informed me that they have a 35% re-stocking fee. THIS IS CRIMINAL. The box with unopened, and clean. I work at Landmark Ford and we dont charge a re-stocking fee for parts returns. I wouldnt even me mad if it was a reasonable fee but 35% is Criminal. I told my friends to cancel their service appointment and take the car to Weston. I will never give this dealership another dime.UPDATEAfter writing this review Auto Town Buick GMC contacted me and did end up giving me a full refund for the price of the part. This still doesn’t change how I feel about the overall experience and the fact that a 35% restocking fee is excessive. Also they are not up front about the fee, no signage anywhere that I could see. You only find out about the fee after you pay and they give you a receipt. I updated this to 3 stars for their willingness to return my money to me. I recommended that they put up a sign on the parts counter with their return policy. I will give these guys another chance in the future.

I will no longer be a returning customer. My latest experience with the service center was an absolute joke. They racked up a $1200 bill and my car is still not fixed due to their multiple misdiagnoses and are now suggesting an additional $5-6k of work for a new transmission! It shouldnt have taken $1200 to get to this diagnosis. I was way overcharged for parts and service and am thoroughly disgusted. I pulled my car from the service center and drove it directly to a shop that will be finishing the job.

Then unfortunately after a couple of months of having the vehicle I had a car accident and it was deemed a total loss. I then was without a vehicle so I decided to back to Dawn and spoke with to see what my options where and what I could do. This place should not be a GMC dealership and should be next to the slumlords on Southeast 82nd. They are praying on uneducated consumers. My wife and I were searching for a vehicle so we called them to talk about a price and made an appointment to view the vehicle and then when we got on site they told us they were marking them up $10,000 from MSRP because of supply and demand. This was not the advertise price online nor was it the price that we had talked about over the phone. Do Yourself a favor and stay away from this dealership. You Do not need a car bad enough to pay 10,000 over MSRP for it.

Originally when I leased my truck from AutoTown I was impressed that the lease process was so quick... Now I know why. 3 months after I turned in my lease I got a bill from GM Financial for 495$ with the description disposition fee When I called GM financial they told me this was a fee that was included if you did not purchase your vehicle after the lease. They told me this should have been discussed at the time of the lease, which it was not. I then called AutoTown to ask them about my bill. The first question I asked was, do you know what a disposition fee is and after a pause he answered, no. If their own finance people do not know what it is how are they going to be able to let the customer know they are going to be charged for it?! I asked to speak with his supervisor and was told they were not in, so i asked him to return my call. I was not called back or followed up on. A month later I had to call back and they basically told me I was out of luck. Granted I should have read the contract line by line but I should not have to. This is not a business you can trust. Would NOT recommend.

We have been a customer of Auto Town GMC for many years. We had taken a vehicle for a service and wandered to the new car lot for a look at the new pickups. Fisher, a salesperson, approached to see if he could help in anyway. We explained that we might be in the market for a vehicle as our small SUV was getting up in years. We were interested in a pickup, 1/2 ton or midsize, used at this time, and really in no hurry. The dealership had no vehicle prospects at the time, we let Fisher know the parameters of the pickup we were interested in. Over the next few months Fisher kept us informed of any pickup that was in our β€œwheelhouse”. We saw multiple pickups, test drove a couple, turned down a couple. Fisher was politely not deterred. We purchased a used Colorado which met the needs we mentioned. The buying process was efficient and painless. Thanks to Fisher and all involved at Auto Town GMC.

We got a car here in June 2020 but I’m just now getting to leaving a review. I forgot but remembered when I seen a car with this dealership name. I will never come here. Worst car buying experience ever. Me and my partner were PRE-APPROVED with my Credit Union and they pretty much forced us to do a new application through CUDL. I was in Salem and my partner was in Gladstone they told him that I had to come in to do an app I said no we don’t have to because we are pre-approved, they said I HAVE to. I asked why and the guy basically told me they need to get their commission. They wouldn’t just process the sale with our pre-approval. I HAD to drive from Salem to Gladstone just to do a whole new application that DIDNT have to be submitted since I was already pre-approved. My credit was ran again! And I only did it because my partner wanted this Jeep so bad. I strictly told the guy who assisted with our paperwork that I’m ONLY co-signing. Not joint. CO-SIGNER. He kept arguing with me that I have to be a joint he was making me feel like I didn’t know what I was talking about because he has worked here sooo many years (as a previous employee of a credit union I know this was false) until I finally talked to my credit unions manager and confirmed that I was right I told the guy and you can tell he got so upset and called my credit union to confirm that I WAS RIGHT oh but guess what? guess who’s name was first on the DMV paper work.. mine! I had to re-apply with my Credit Union to get this resolved and yes another credit check! Oh that’s not all! (Gosh I wish I remembered their names!) the salesman who helped my partner said they will fill the gas tank up for us for the trouble of the first couple guys who were RUDE to my partner. We were so excited to finally have our Jeep and to get out of that place that we forgot about the gas. This guy had given my partner his phone number so my partner called him and no answer! Never received a response. With this said please be careful if you get a car here and don’t let these people take advantage of you.

I took my 2017 Buick Encore in to the service department to get some routine work done and to check on why my check engine light was on and why the Stabilitrak was turning off and on. I spent a good chunk of money getting it fixed(yes, I know the dealership is always more spendy). Supposedly it was a mass air flow sensor that needed to be replaced. I drove the car less 20 miles and the check engine light turned back on and the Stabilitrak started freaking out again. Took it back in here and got charged AGAIN just to have them diagnose the problem. They replaced another sensor and charged me more money still. Drove the car about another 20 miles and guess what happened? The check engine light came back on! My recommendation? Do not get service done here unless you want to be overcharged and have your car not fixed by the end.

I purchased a 2009 VW CC from this dealership. A couple of days after I purchased the car the low oil pressure light came on and I returned the car so the service department could diagnose the issue. They told me they checked the engine and everything was fine, probably a dirty sensor. The light did not come on again for a couple months but has since returned and another mechanic says it will be thousands of dollars to repair or a new engine. The dealer who sold me the car would not help and surely knew of the engine issue. Very disappointed with this team and would not trust them.

Everytime Im in there its high pressure sales. Makes me feel very uncomfortable. Was at Ron Tonkin Dodge later that day for another service on my Dodge truck. I had no high pressure sales, comfortable waiting area and the service manager was great. I am concerning finding another dealership to have my service done. When i bought my Cadillac there they had lied to me about all the services that had been done to the car, which to find out none of the services had been performed. I will never buy another car from this dealership.

Place was good about a year ago when I was looking for cars. Came in about 3 days ago and was helped fast but then our sales guy left and never came back and texted us that it would be another day to hear back. Fast forward 2 days still nothing from him and he never ran our credit to see. Wont be coming back here bad customer service.

My experience here was great! I saw an ad online for a car I was interested in so I messaged them about it and we took care of almost everything through text so by the time I got there I just had to drive it and do the last little paperwork. My guy Zach helped me out and made it a really easy decision to get the car. He’s an awesome and friendly guy who makes you feel like family when you go in. I recommend anyone looking at a car to go in and see Zach and he’ll take care of you.

I believe that I over paid for my Oil and Filter change, 17 point inspection and tire rotation. Seventy one dollars is too high. I was also presented with another $1700 worth of transfer case and differential oil changes recommended. I find this very off putting and will be considering taking my service needs elsewhere.
