Our dog got an infection while we were camping at Devils Tower. Red Hills got us in to see her within a couple of hours. I can’t even begin to say how happy we are with them. They were AWESOME!!! The parking lot was even big enough to handle our huge camper. Red Hills is great!!! We highly recommend them. THANKS EVERYONE THERE!!!

So the only reason that I dont do five stars is because its unsettling to me that there is no overnight access theres no vet on call during the overnight hours. Our pets do not only get sick between six and eight. I love that you have extended hours during the week and that you are open on the weekends but what happens if one of my pets gets sick or injured in the middle of the night? It has been for this reason alone that I have considered moving to another veterinary office. I have no issues at all with the service or the professionalism of your staff we have always been treated very well and been seen quickly. Again my only issue is what if something happens in the middle of the night.....

I brought my small dog here today for her first checkup with Red Hills Vet Hospital. This place has AMAZING staff! They all were very wonderful and loved my shy and nervous dog, no matter how many times she snorted at them. They all show how much they love animals and the environment was upbeat and positive, which was beyond helpful for me since I struggle with Agoraphobia. I can see why this place has such good reviews. I recommend them!

They are incredible. They go out of their way to help any time you have Need of them. Theyre incredibly compassionate I have not met a single person on staff there but did not go out of their way to make My animals as well as myself feel as comfortable as possible . I have been very impressed with how Kind and compassionate every employee I met as been.

Great Doctors... surgeons... wonderful staff... always checking on your pets after a visit, very accommodating to get your pet in and cared for. Open 7 days a week... a Godsend when you have an issue on the weekends, open late as well Monday through Friday. All around a great animal hospital and much appreciated by me and my pets! The Drs. And Staff at Red Hills saved my angels life. I couldnt come up with the money up front for the procedure and I was denied by the programs that can help due to my past financial mistakes. Her condition turned into an emergency situation one morning. I was panicked and they told me to bring her in and that they were doing the surgery anyway. They put me on a payment plan and I was able to qualify for emergency help through the Fur Kids Foundation Thank you God. Without the care and compassion and dedication of Red Hills, Im not sure My Ellah Mae would have made it much longer with how bad her situation ended up being. Thank you isnt enough.

I had another vet who I used for years and years and loved them. I was concerned going to a new vet. I really did not think I would like not having just one vet but Red Hills has eased my concerns. So far every staff member has been a joy! They are all kind and attentive to all of our needs—pets and humans. I feel that they really care about my fur babies!

I absolutely love red hills. They are so caring and helped me more than I could’ve ever imagined. I don’t think they will ever know how much I truly appreciate their clinic and staff.

The vets do a fantastic job and it’s nice when they follow up after procedures to ensure the animal is doing okay. What I don’t like is the excessive amount of follow up for procedures that you are saving for or putting off for a few months. I don’t know how frequently I get calls about scheduling teeth cleaning and calls like hey I put together a estimate for the procedure can I send it to you. It gets to a point that you feel like they are more concerned about the money making procedures than genuinely caring for the animal and understanding family situations. We were getting calls about scheduling costly procedures for our one dog just days after spending over $500 to have our other dog put down and cremated.

Hi My name is “Duke the cat”. So my owners wife had me taken out and had my private parts cut off cause I kept attacking her feet in the morning. My owner did warn me it would happen but I didn’t believe him. Next thing I know she put me in my trip case and then I get a shot and sleep for a bit.... then I wake up and my buddy’s are GONE!!!! So now when she tells me to get down I lesson cause she said my claws are NEXT!!!!! That being said the people who cut my boys off did a great job!!! I was up and about quick and pretty upset. My owner say I’m going through the 5 steps of grief really quick, but I think I’m stuck on anger!!!

Very curtious and polite and takes time to answer questions and listen and gives you personal to talk and not hurry you out the door.

They are very professional and really good about checking back the next day but there wait time while you’re there is extremely to long I have waited in the exam room for up to a half hour without seeing anyone!

All the Red Hill’s staff were amazing with our family when our oldest and best companion wasn’t doing well. They allowed us to spend private time and as much time as we wanted with her. They also allowed me to go get my children to see her. The Vet & Vet tech were so amazing explaining everything. The Vet Tech was so kind & definitely had been doing this for a long time. She explained things to our kids & sit in the floor with us & Sassy. They allowed the 5 of us to stay with her in the room. Made a special paw print on a clay disk & sent us a sweet card with her paw & nose prints & a special wildflower disc to plant in remembrance our amazing pup. Can’t thank you all enough for being so kind to us and our sweet dog during this very sad time. Would recommend Red Hill’s to anyone. They truly love your pets.

I took my beloved Figaro there whenever he needed a doctor. All of them were so kind when I had to take Figaro (18 1/2 yrs old) in to send him to heaven a year ago in October.I took Luna in today for immunizations. Again, they all are great, caring people. I trust them with the care of my fur kids.

We took our six week old Rottweiler puppy in for her first vaccination and as new customers we were absolutely welcomed and well taken care of! The receptionists and techs most definitely love their jobs and were absolutely in love with our Millie ( i believe it was Robin that helped us name her that as well!) and Dr. Motz was awesome!!

Overnight we thought we were going to lose our beloved Aussie. I thought she might have a twisted stomach and she wasn’t doing very well. Our regular vet is over an hour away and did not open til 8:00am. I called Red Hills as we have used them for other Vet emergencies. I was able to speak to an on call Tech Vet at 5:00am, who instructed me to go to Red Hills and be there when they opened at 7:00am. Robin, one of the intake professionals opened the doors early for me and got us processed. As soon as a doctor was available, minutes after opening, our Aussie was seen immediately. I can’t state enough, how professional the entire crew was and how thorough they were in they’re examination. Turned out our dog did not have a twisted stomach, thank God! Everything was explained concisely and thoroughly. Red Hills gets a 10 out of 10 from me!

I love this place! We just moved to the area and I have an EPI German Shepherd that has just been diagnosed right before we moved. They have been so good with her(shes a handful) and Dr. Claire has been so great at working with us figuring out what we should be doing for her health to get her back on track. All the front desk help is wonderful as well. They make us feel right at home and like we have been here for years. Wonderful place and will be coming here for years to come!

The vets know what they are doing. They clearly care about your animal the techs are also very helpful and caring. The front office ladies need to be monitored more. Last time I was there they stood there making fun of another customer, loudly. Very unprofessional. Made me think twice if I will be going back out of fear to be made fun of as well. I still have not yet decided, as long as those 2 women are there I would rather not be there.

Friendly staff but they will rob you blind. The push the care plan and make it a joke to cancel it. I asked about when my plan lasted so I could get my dogs shots covered. She knew I was going to cancel the plan for following year. Well I was given the wrong date so it auto renewed and they now are charging for all services and a $50 cancelation fee. Im pretty sure they didnt even subtracted the monthly cost I paid for it.

Our little dog got extremely ill over Easter weekend. They had us bring her in and were quick to diagnose what was wrong. They gave us a few options as well as their recommendation.

Ive taken my cats there and just took my dog there for his 1st checkup and they were so kind and sweet to him!! 10/10 best vet Ive been too

They were great, helped him right away, saw me right away, no waiting room delay. They were straightforward with me about the pricing as well, there were no surprises (which was a blessing, as I have been financially impacted by COVID-19).Wonderful people, very warm, and my cat is now totally better. The staff at Red Hills are extremely helpful. I appreciate that if I have any questions regarding my pets care I can call them up and speak with a nurse. All of my options were presented to me so I was aware of the cost and other alternatives to products. They answered all of my questions and were extremely accommodating when needing advise last minute. I will continue to recommend them to everyone with fur babies. I will be having all of my pets seen there from now on!

Awesome place to take your animals. I was going through another vet and called in after hours for an emergency and no one ever called me back and Red Hills said bring your dog down right now and we will see what is happening. Explained everything in amazing detail and I switched vets immediately after going to the other one since 2004!!

I appreciate that before any tests or services are rendered the staff provides the customer with an approximate cost. Also the staff is excellent in following up with the owner within 24 hours of service on the status of the pet.

Red Hills Vet is always professional and courteous.From the staff up front to the vets I know my animals are being well taken care of. It’s great how they break down the billing and give you all the options for treatment which helps you make an informed decision.

I called and they were able to get us right in. My dog needed surgery. He came thru beautiful. They did a nice job on his tail. Everyone was very helpful and answered all questions.

They do good work but their billing is terrible. I have taken my three dogs there multiple times and it never fails I get a call a few days later saying I underpaid. This has happened to others I know as well. I’m pretty sure it’s their MO. From now on I will only write checks and put “paid in full” on the subject line. Their front end staff needs to get it together.

We are from Las Vegas Nevada and we’re in town for a convention. Our dog had a health issue and Red Hills went out of their way to help us. We can’t thank them enough for the help.

Took my dog here and was very impressed. The facility was clean and had a beautiful layout. Our vet sat and talked with us for 20-30 minutes, was very attentive and took the time and patience required for my skeptical dog to trust her. I feed my dog a raw diet, and I’ve had my fair share of vets tell me their negative options on it. I’m very knowledgeable about my dogs dietary needs, so it gets irritating to be chastised about it. This was not the case, our vet was receptive and didn’t try to scold me on my choice to feed my dog raw. Very knowledgeable staff that communicated clearly about pricing and options. I never felt pressured to do any tests, the vet simply told me what we COULD do and what that would cost and what benefit I could have if I made the choice. Highly recommend this place — I entered as a new client but left as a forever client.

My elderly dog has had a terrible ulcer on her eye, so we have been going every week for about a month and a half! The Dr. and the staff have been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The facility is very nice and clean as well! I cant say enough good things!

Red Hills is truly an exceptional veterinary hospital! From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcomed! The entire staff took such excellent care of my newly adopted cat. My dog had a medical emergency at 8:45 pm and they closed at 9:00 pm. They told me to bring her in and the vet and techs were very caring with her and explained everything they were doing and the costs. I will absolutely use them in the future.

When we arrived, there were a lot of people waiting which was a good sign to me that they had so much business! Staff was super friendly and helped everyone so quickly! Absolutely love this vets office! The vets and techs are knowledgeable and very friendly. Ive run into a few outside of the vets office and they never fail to say hello. Even though theyre a very busy practice they always remember my dog by name. Would HIGHLY recommend. Ive never had a vets office call after nearly every service the next day to see how my dog is doing wether she just had an update on her shots or something more serious like a surgery. The only place in Gillette Id trust with my pets.

His yearly exam went great and I was able to also set up an appointment to take care of his eye surgery with them as well. Ive been to vet offices where Ive felt rushed through, and feel that they didnt do anything more than take my money. The doctors and staff at Red Hills are awesome! You can truly feel the true love each of them has for animals. They really take the time to really check out our babies and listen to us, the pet parents.I think one of the hardest things about having a pet is being able to put your trust in someone else to help or care for your fur kids. I definitely feel that trust here, and am grateful that I feel comfortable that my babies are safe in their hands.I would highly recommend Red Hills!! 😁

The staff is amazing. Everyone was so kind to both myself and my dog. They got us in on very short notice and they kept me up to date on next steps for my dogs care and also the cost of the appt before hand. We were so pleased with the care we received that we are switching all of our animals and will make Red Hills our normal vet from now on.

I was experiencing an emergency with my pet and they genuinely made it feel less dramatic. Calm, polite, and professional they gave me a care plan I could follow. Inconvenient that they don’t have a payment plan for expensive emergency visits and payment is required at the time of service. It was worth every penny in the long run!

They do their best to offer options for all types of financial needs, and they go over them with you before treatment so you’re not getting any surprise charges at the end. Im sorry to give a bad review but we are disappointed with Red Hills Veterinary.Our sensation is their first concern is money. We made the mistake of taking our puppy in for an emergency. Unfortunately, we didnt have time to read the negative reviews on Red Hills Veterinary (which we later saw on Yelp and others sites). However, fortunately the next day we took our dog to our regular vet because we were so disappointed.Red Hills Veterinary Hospital, tried to keep our dog 2-3 unnecessary nights only so they could probably make more money off of us (we already payed them more than $700 for a dislocated leg and three meds). So instead of accepting, we took our puppy to our own wonderful vet clinic of fourteen years (also one of the most popular in Gillette). While there, they laughed at the idea of keeping our dog overnight.Red Hills not only tied very hard to take advantage of us, but they also bandaged our dog too tightly which caused him great pain. After 26 hours we took him back to the Red Hills and they took off his bandage, admitting it was much too tight and our dog instantly stoped screaming. However, the tight bandage caused some fluid buildup complications.Just be very careful going to Red Hills Veterinary Hospital in Gillette if you love animals. They are not professionals, not safe at all with the Covid19 situation, and they are not sensitive with animals. Also they are overpriced. This is the first time we feel obligated to leave a negative review and explain this situation so people can be aware.

Fantastic experience with lots of pre-op care to ensure it was safe for our girl to go under anesthesia. We are members of the care plan and it has paid for itself in just two visits, and we get unlimited office visits and monthly nail trims on top of everything else. Great clinic, highly recommend.

I brought my GSD to the vet last night. I made sure to explain over the phone that she is not at all other dog friendly and that she can get aggressive. They helped me choose a calmer time and day to bring her in and they included notes so that the check in team would put us in a room right away. All went smoothly and she did a great job! The vet and techs were great and she appreciated the treats. They also called the next day to make sure she was doing okay after her shot. A++ for sure!

Our cat developed pancreatitis and required quick, aggressive intensive care and I do believe she got the best treatment possible here! The entire staff were friendly, sympathetic and very professional. Our girl got to come home after 2 days treatment and we are all happy again. This is a American Animal Hospital Assoc. member and their standards are the best! Highly recommended for your pets care.

I took my dogs in on Sunday. It’s so great they are available on the weekends for appointments. It makes it easier for me, knowing I don’t have to take time off of work for normal visits. The staff is always accommodating and everything has always ran smoothly for us. Keep up the great work!

We only went to this clinic because our usual vet was closed because of it being Sunday afternoon. We called and made an appointment ahead of bringing our dog in and we were able to be squeezed in. Staff were very friendly but we drove two hours just to be quoted over $550 dollars to have less than 30 porcupine quills pulled, that was with the over night stay fee waived. The prices are absolutely outrageous; they tried sell us services and medications that weren’t necessary at very inflated prices. There’s no reason that putting a dog under for twenty minutes and grabbing a pair of Kelly forceps should be that pricey. After reading other reviewers it seems like this clinic is money hungry. We ended up just waiting until Monday morning to have the same procedure done locally in rural Montana for less than $140.
