Just got a new BMW and wanted to get window film to reduce the heat and paint protection film so we dont get rock chips on the front of the car. A Better Tint stood out as the best installer in the area. We decided to get the 3M ceramic tint because it rejects a ton of heat and because it looks great on the car. We also had them put 3M paint protection film on the whole front half of the car so we dont get rock chips anywhere on the front part of the car. We also did the door edges and door cups so we dont get scratches from everyday use. You literally cant tell the film is on the car, it looks amazing!!! Was very happy with the work A Better Tint did, Eric and the team did an amazing job including walking me around the car to talk about coverage options and tint options that would work best for us. We took our Tesla Model 3 in for a complete 3M Crystalline window tinting and 3M Clear Paint Protection for the entire front of the car. Erik, Brett and Chris were absolutely terrific to work with! The tint is beautiful and the 3M Crystalline is well worth the extra money...especially with the full glass roof. It REALLY makes a difference in keeping the interior cooler. The 3M Paint Protection looks great and will now keep those Arizona rocks from chipping that sloping hood! Referred our neighbors (another Tesla Model 3 with the same tinting and protection) and they are equally as happy.Great customer service combined with top quality products make A Better Tint THE place to go for your tinting and/or paint protection needs. I had my Jeep tinted with Formula One Classic film today, and I couldnt be happier with the results. The team at Better Tint did a fantastic job for the right price. The car is noticeably cooler inside, and theres a lot more shade. I love it. Brian, the sales rep, did a great job assisting me. He patiently answered all of my questions and helped me select what level of tinting I would need. It only took a couple hours to finish the job and all communication was prompt and courteous. After the install, I looked the car over, and it was easy to tell that the film was installed by pros. If I ever need a tint done again, Ill be back.

Wow, what a difference!!!! I went in wanting a strip of visor film on my car windshield. A Better Tint had done that for me previously on another car and I love it. Instead, I decided to try a full windshield clear tint. I didnt even know such a thing existed! The man at the counter walked me through the options. I was a bit skeptical at first. How much temperature or glare can clear film filter out? He was really confident though, and between trusting the 3M brand and knowing that ABT would make sure I was satisfied with the finished product, I decided to go for it.From the moment I got in my car in the blazing sun I noticed it was cooler. I marveled that I could see clearly outside. Like the man said, I saw a few bubbles in the film when I drove away and they disappeared by the end of the day. I ran several errands and couldnt stop grinning! My hands were cooler on the wheel and it didnt take long at all for my A/C to be felt in my old 2002 Mazda. I wasnt expecting that!Since then Ive been harassing my husband to go get his windshield done. It is remarkable that a clear film can make a heat difference and reassuring to know the back of my hands are protected from the sun. This company is awesome!!! I was introduced to A Better Tint through a Groupon ad. When I called them up to inquire about the offer, they were very eager to work with me to tint my van windows. You never know when a business runs a deal what your going to get, but from the moment I walked into their shop, I knew it was going to be a great experience. Dustin is a very helpful man and explained everything we needed to know. They have many different tints to choose from, and after we agreed on the product, the work was performed in a very timely manner!! They have a very nice waiting area, although my wife and I decided to walk down the road for lunch. I have been getting tint done for years on every car Ive owned including my gfs car, this place by FAR exceeded every expectation i could have!!!! They were able to come out within a few days based on MY work schedule, they were incredibly prompt, called ahead, and the gentleman was very professional!!! Took his time, looked very confident. They even had the ENTIRE windshield tinted before they brought it out with the tint i asked for!!! Incredible customer service on the phone and in person and their shop in Gilbert! They have the best product on the market and the price isnt too bad. I opted for the ceramic tint top of the line. $400 for my Corolla and $450 for my Traverse. WOW!!!!! The difference is night and day. The cars stay much cooler and they look great. And the lifetime warranty rocks too. I scratched up one of my windows and they replaced it at no cost to me. I will use these guys for every car I buy. They do great work.

I drove all the way from San Tan Valley because I heard they were the best. I was not disappointed. The customer service was top notch and the tint looks great. I got my fiat 500 35% in the front and 5% in the rear. I upgraded to the nano ceramic tint. No tint will stop a car heating up if left in the Arizona sun for 8 hours due to lack of ventilation. However one or two hours at the mall or grocery shopping and youll come back to a noticeable coolness in your car. If you have the money do what I did and get the pinnacle tint. Thanks. Would have given an excellent rating, but I have serious (dime size) bubbles on some of windows. And its been five days since the job was done so the bubbles should be gone. Also I had to bring to their attention that some of the visor area was peeling back and needed to be fixed. Now I know that they will fix it, but the fact that I have to go back is unacceptable to me. To me, it seems like that are a little to busy and get in a hurry trying to finish your vehicle. Im not complaining about how quickly my truck was done, because they had it done in about 2.5 hrs. I just think that a professional job should be done right the first time. So overall, Im impressed with speed but not quality of workmanship. If you go, check your vehicle over very closely before you leave so you dont have to go back like me.

After my mom had her 2009 Camry tinted by A Better Tint and did a PERFECT JOB that has not failed in almost 2 years and still looks brand new! As a result, I took in my 2001 Honda Prelude (which I just purchased used with awful peeling/bubbled tint). They removed the old tint which took them a long time because it was so bad. I kind of felt bad for how long it took them. Then, they installed the new tint and COULDNT HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB! ITS EXCELLENT AND LOOKS AWESOME! They really put some life back into my little lude. If you need a tint, look no further because these guys are top notch and provide you with the absolute best in customer service. Seriously, look at the other reviews. I think the quality speaks for itself. Its so nice to not get screwed over by some uncaring shop.

I had multiple people refer me to A Better Tint. After dealing with Dustin and his crew I know why. In search of a high quality tint I visited their Gilbert location where I was shown various tint samples both in the showroom and outdoors as well. Major selling point for me was being able to see the tint installed in three different vehicles, with input from a salesperson with first hand knowledge. I eventually decided on the Formula One Pinnacle Series tint. Instead of being shuttled back to my office, I simply logged onto the free Wi-Fi in their enclosed waiting area and took care of some work. Roughly 90 minutes later my car was ready go. Now two weeks later my tint has dried perfectly and looks great too. I recommend A Better Tint to anyone looking for a pleasant buying experience from a reputable company.

This was my second visit after a satisfied first tint on another vehicle. I found the customer service on this experience VERY disappointing and will not return no matter how good a Groupon I purchase.The first thing you MUST be aware of in using this vendor is that they will simply not give you any sort of documentation to prove that they tinted your windows should you choose anything other than the legal limit.Coming from their own staff, they informed me that about half of their customers stay within the legal limit and half opt for a darker tint. If you choose a dark tint, they will still warranty the tint, but you MUST pay in cash and then have no record whatsoever of the transaction. They assured me that I am in their system and if customers ever have issues with their tint, they will take care of it. However, if they were to simply say, we didnt do it, any customer choosing a tint darker than the legal limit would have absolutely NO proof of the transaction (in the case of my previous tint on my truck, a $400 transaction).Now, I understand that it is a legal issue and they could run into issues tinting windows darker than legally allowed. However, there is a simple resolution to this that was used by a tint shop in Ohio (where I am from originally and had dark tint placed on many vehicles) which is to have the customer sign a waiver. It could read anything, such as the car is intended only for show use, or, they could simply remove the percentage of the tint they installed on the invoice (as they did on my truck tint when I demanded they give me a receipt).Additionally, while I am happy with my current tint, the windshield strip was a full two inches shorter in height than with my truck. When I called to ask why, they stated that they use a machine to cut the industry standard for my vehicle. Well, the industry standard for my car is a 4 strip that does not even extend below where the mirror attaches to the windshield. The tint on the car looks very nice, but then you have this pathetic little strip as the first thing you see when looking at the car from front to back. Im not even sure I would want an additional 2 as with my full size truck, but this strip looks REALLY bad.After a few more minutes of the person explaining industry standards, I told him that I was not pleased with the strip and asked if another could be cut and applied (I would have even paid the additional $35 they charged for the application of the first strip). Bottom line, I wanted to know if they would be willing to make a repeat customer happy or I needed to take my vehicle to another shop to have them apply a new strip. I was disappointed to learn that they would rather have me take it to another shop to get what I wanted.Please believe me (as I work in a customer service industry), the customer is NOT always right. But in this case, I dont feel as if what I was asking was beyond reasonable. I spent a little less than $400, received no proof that any work was performed by them, and then learned that they were not even inclined to redo a windshield strip that I wanted a little larger (at my expense).Have actually referred a couple folks here for window tints. That stops with my recent experience from this shop.

After being a customer for many years and always receiving great products and service I can say that the Gilbert locations poor customer service on the managers part and failure to uphold their warranty. A total of 12 vehicles over the last 14 years were all tinted by this company (Mesa, and Gilbert) yet Ive never needed warranty work until today.Today I attampted to get a 35.00 windshield strip replacement and was told by Dustin the manager that they dont do glass anymore.I already have the glass replaced all that was needed was the strip. So Im told they dont do that anymore. Paperwork says lifetime warranty and at the time of purchasing we both heard same thing if you ever have any windows replaced bring it back to us and well replace tint So basically for 35.00 they are losing a 14 year customer. Use caution folks when companies wont honor warranties because they decided not to do that anymore.

Just got a full tint job on my truck. Looks great. Very professional, will do business again.

Damaged my interior door panel during install, left bubbles causing two visits and still did a poor job.I got the groupon and came to this place for all my windows. They removed the tint and replaced it with new tint. The selection was basically medium dark or limo. I chose medium, however, it appears lighter than the factory tint that was on it from the dealer. When I picked up my car, there were bubbles everywhere! They advised me, though, that the bubbles will go away after a few days. The tint on my back window was cut too short and some regular window showed, the back passenger window had a cut mark across the tint.Two months later, the bubbles remained. So I brought it back in and asked them to replace the tint that had bubbles (5 windows). The front desk woman got the tech from the back to insect my car. I advised that my windows are dusty and to bring a rag outside. When he came out, he made some rude comment that I dont have to tell him how to do his job. He told the desk woman, who relayed that to me before he came out front. The tech stated that he could get out the bubbles on one side of the vehicle (three windows) and would replace the rest. I stressed to them that I do not want to pick it up and have there still be bubbles. They assured me they would get the bubbles out but if they cant, they will replace.8 hours later, I pick up the vehicle and there were still bubbles in the windows that they wouldnt replace. It looked like they popped them and now they are just smaller bubbles but they are still there. I called this to their attention, the front desk woman, whom stated that they cannot get out all the bubbles and that no one can ever get out all the bubbles. I advised her that its in their warranty that they warrant against bubbles so why would they deliver the vehicle WITH bubbles if they warranty against them? She had no answer and said she would notify her manager. Nothing ever came of that. No manager ever contacted me.On my drive home I notice stab marks in my drivers door (in the plastic). I looked over to the passenger side and there are stab marks in that door as well, but more of them. It looks like a razor or knife. Only thing I can imagine is if they have a razor on a belt and were careless during install, the razor began pressing in on my door panel making those marks.I would NOT recommend this place. I got my boyfriends windows done right after this and went with another company. They were awesome and there were not damage or bubbles, I wish I went to them now!

2nd car: 2013 - Tacoma 4dr - All of the windows were tinted. $700. The windshield was done twice and there is still dirt and bubbles under the film on the windshield. The rear passenger window had lifted. Each time I brought it back I got all apologies and not one manager verified the work. They just gave me the keys and I had to find out myself. I am going elsewhere now as good work is not hard to find. Going back a third time SHAME ON ME.1st car: 2014 - Toyota FJ - All of the windows were done. The windshield had to be done twice as dirt and bubbles were bad. The driver and passenger window were full of dirt and bubbles. This cost me $700 too.Please be aware of this place. Please save your time and money.I went back and the manager said, what we do to make it right?I remained silent.... Took the money for only the winshield getting done on my tacoma. I could only feel offended and walked away.I also guarantee that majority of these reviews are friends and family. I am honest and always work with somebody. I have been in field service for the last 10 years and if my business just gave money for lack of quality, we would not be in business.I am going to one of the other two locations that do 3m tint. I could have taken it back but at this point they think I am a problem.

We found them initially because they were one of the few places in the area that offer Llumar tint (do your research - its amazing!!!) and had great online reviews. In all 3 visits over the course of 4 years, we have not been disappointed in the slightest. Their service is good, they have a reasonable turnaround, and (most importantly) the quality of their work is outstanding. I wouldnt trust a car wash to tint my $72k SUV in a place that receives relentless sunlight and heat. We drove all the way from Buckeye to use these guys and it was absolutely worth it. The first time we got the classic tint (2002 Acura CL-S) and it was very clean-looking and provided great privacy and heat blocking. The second time (2009 Infiniti QX56) we decided to step up a grade and got the ceramic Pinnacle Llumar tint. HUGE difference! It kept our huge SUV much much cooler in the summer and it had great visibility from the inside even though it was a limo (5%) tint. Outstanding. The heat was so bad before that I thought my air conditioner wasnt working. We loved it so much that we got the same tint on our third vehicle (2011 Infiniti QX56). All 3 times, service was great, quality was consistent, and (at least on the first 2), the tint lasted well and did not bubble or discolor. Would never use anyone else!

I, like another member who posted on this business also had a horrible experience with A Better Tint. I had purchased two Groupons for use on two seperate cars. I experienced the same bait and switch technique. The manager on site was so rude that I needed to contact Groupon for refunds on both groupons. I ended up taking it to a local car wash place and the cost was similiar to the after-groupon charges from A Better Tint, plus I didnt have to give me business to that rude manager.
