This is my first experience with DigMyPics and they will definitely be receiving more business from us. My first experience was with Legacy box. Although not terribly disappointed with their (Legacy box) service I had sent two different types of film 8mm and mini DV tapes. The quality of my 8mm was good and the quality on my minis that I sent were bad so I wasnt sure if there was a problem with my mini DV tapes. So I decided to try sending them to DigMyPics. I just received them back today and couldnt be happier. Huge difference from the copies I received back from Legacy box. If you are wanting to have old family treasures digitalized and trying to decide between the different companies out there. I highly recommend giving them a try you wont be disappointed! They are my top choice much faster turnaround time as well!

This company does excellent work. I have completed several big orders with them. Unfortunately, the company has inexplicably decided to block international visitors to its website. I will revise this review once that is fixed.

I cant thank the digmypics team enough for the way they handled my project from beginning to end. It was always easy to reach out to them and actually talk to a person - so many companies make it a chore to reach a human being, want you to chat with them online, and it seems you can rarely talk to the same person twice. I was always able to talk to the same person when I called. Dealing with the digmypics team was refreshing!I should also mention that I really liked the link to where you can see the progress of the videos while they are being converted. It was a lot of fun to look at them and anticipate sharing the final product with our children.I received the digitized videos and am very happy with the way they look. I highly recommend digmypics (Memory Box) to anyone thinking of digitizing old videow.

Havent received images yet, but only two stars because to download photos on a Mac you must install their software and it doesnt work on Catalina (10.15). Their own website states We’ve tested it on OSX 10.9 Mavericks and OSX 7.5 Lion and it works. REALLY? Thats like ancient times on a Mac. Cmon, just create a web-based download like everyone else please!Updated 3/2 (after reply from Owner). The Mac downloader supports the current version Mac OS. Subsequent to my review you updated your website with new instructions. Thank you. Dont appreciate the suggestion that my initial review was not accurate. But providing a workaround to Apples security protocols for 3rd party software is hardly a long-term solution.

Charged my moms card for 80% of her entire order before any of my slides we scanned as a prepayment. Which was hundreds of dollars. why would we pay for work that hasnt been done yet?EDIT: Oh, and beware of the hidden fees......

Quality of scans is excellent, and the color correction is a nice feature. Be patient as it takes several weeks to process large orders.

It took a long time before I decided who i would trust to send in my 8mm film to. It was a decision that scared me. A lot of the places had a projector and a camera set up. They also could destroy all chances of recovering the movies. I finally decided on DIgMyPics because of price and the frame by frame processing. When i was able to view the movies it was a relief that they were viable and not only viable but the quality was so great.I will be sending them more 35 mm slides in the future. Thanks

We were quoted 60 dollars when we visited the store. The next day they charge a partial payment on our card for 83 dollars because apparently they misquoted us when we were there and anything over 100 dollars get a partial payment up front i guess because they charge 99 dollars for USB drives to put movie files on that should have been no more that 64gb in file size.
