It’s sad that companies lack customer service and professionalism these days. This company claims they are 4 generations of movers but should perhaps have stopped after 3. They are completely unresponsive to numerous phone calls and don’t communicate with customers or their own drivers. Trying to communicate with driver he was completely rude and disrespectful and clearly hates his job. Go find a reputable company that still believes in traditional American values of customer loyalty and professionalism.

Such a great company! I had a tough piano to move, the previous owners glued the legs to the piano and the movers stuck it out and did a great job!! The price is unbeatable as well!! Totally recommend!!

They are very unprofessional, not honoring contract knowing we had stairs. Demanding $250 more or they would dump piano in garage. Really this is az summer and holding piano hostage is so wrong. Shame on you!! Never ever again

They moved out piano and held it hostage until we paid their unquoted price $250 for stairs they said were consecutive.. what else are steps if not consecutive? They were intimating and bullies. Would Never use them in any capacity, moving or purchases.

Safe and Sound quoted $149 to move our regular size upright piano, which was described as a chest high upright piano, to the person we talked to on the phone.When the movers arrived, they looked at the piano and immediately said the price would be $199 because it was taller than they thought it would be. I told the mover that Ive had experience with moving scams in the past, where the movers arrive and make up a reason why the price is now so much higher. I suggested they should honor the quote. The mover said I could call his boss and he would tell me the exact same thing, and the charge would still be $199. I decided to go with a different company.

Weve worked with a lot of service professionals with our recent move and Safe & Sound was absolutely fantastic. They were communicative, responsive, respectful and efficient (Im not over-selling it, its true). So happy for our piano to be home and my husband is especially thankful he didnt have to do the moving. We would HIGHLY recommend

This company knows how to move delicate, treasured musical instruments. They moved my families piano to my daughters home with care and knowledge. I am very pleased with Safe and Sound. They were the cheapest around to move an upright piano. When the movers arrived (Junior and Luke)were very accommodating. The piano came from my husband Grandmas house that she lived in for over 30 yrs. They took a good look inside for me and made sure there was no mice or other lovely creatures who might have made a home for themselves. They made it look like it was very easy and not a big deal to move such a heavy piano. I will definitely be using them for my future moves!!

We used Safe and Sound Piano to move and store our baby grand piano while we were in between moves. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly and were very communicative and professional throughout the whole process. They were very affordable and took great care of our piano. I’ve used it safe and sound piano three times now. Once in 2011, once in 2016, and again this last week. Every single time they’ve moved my piano they have been in perfect communication, on time, very genuinely friendly, and my piano has stayed in perfect condition during the moves in and out of the truck and in and out of the house. Hopefully this will be our last move, but if this piano ever has to leave the house, Safe and Sound piano movers will be moving her. It’s worth every penny to have them take care of your piano.

Incredible experience. We had to change our original move date and Safe & Sound was easily accommodating.Our movers were respectful and careful. They took the time to make sure that the piano was centered on the wall and even plugged in the light for us. Professional, polite, and mindful.

We had no idea how complicated it would be to transport a piano before we bought one. Needless to say, I did a lot of research before choosing Safe and Sound Piano movers. We appreciated the quick email response stating the exact cost we would be charged when the job was completed. Just had a baby grand piano moved across town, and the experience was flawless! The two young men who came to pick to piano up were courteous, professional, and quick. From the time they arrived until the time they left with the piano was no more than about twenty minutes. Drop off was the same, and only a few hours later that same day. And the price was right. Id would use them again in a heartbeat.

They moved a baby grand half an hour across town for us. They were friendly and prompt. And I literally called every mover in town- Safe and Sound were the least expensive and I felt secure knowing they’re also a piano store and know how to carefully move an instrument. I highly recommend!

Im an artist and over the years Ive used Safe and Sound Piano Movers several times to move pianos in and out of my studio. These are newly painted pianos and require a very delicate touch to keep them in perfect condition. Theyve been able to move all of my pianos without a scratch. Perfect record! I use this company a few times before this third time. Upon them moving my antique piano they broke the front kick plate off of my piano. After calling the owner he treated me as if I was not telling the truth and this is something that has never happened. That might be fine but at no time did they ever offer to at least help fix it or refund part of my $140 fee to move it 6 miles.I was hoping for a better outcome. I did not want to leave bad feedback! thats not something I usually do, but in this case I felt the need to due to the lack of communication or concern about my piano.

They showed up when they said they would, and they delivered when they said they would. Their moving staff was very friendly and professional. And they did it all for a great price. Thanks!

I almost never post an on-line review of any company. This one asked for it. After the last minute cancellation of a move which had been scheduled for nearly two weeks, zero accommodation was made to reschedule in a manner which works for the CUSTOMER. Both I and the party receiving the piano cleared a whole day - and were then asked to clear another entire day. These folks might provide you with a three hour window the day before, but it wont be the three hours you requested or during which you are available. There are too many piano movers in the valley to mess with this nonsense. Do you yourself a favor and find another company to work with! I would give it zero stars if that were an option.

Bottom line, if you have a piano to be moved locally they are the only people in town! They are fantastic! Enough said!

Our piano arrived right on time and in perfect condition - customer service was top-notch!

I booked them to unload a piano into my home over two weeks ahead of time. Then they called and said it might not work and they would call to confirm. Never called me so I called them and was told it just wasnt going to work and I needed to call another mover. Very bad business practice and I would never recommend them. If I could give zero stars I would.

Safe and Sound guaranteed they would a) not damage anything and b) it would be taken care of to my satisfaction if they did. Safe and Sound movers put about a ten inch dent/gouge in the side of my custom-made piano bench given me by my grandmother: my unprotected piano bench fell over from their movement of the truck while tightening down the piano body and it damaged about ten inches of its side. I was offered to take one of their benches or a paltry sum off my moving cost. Given it was a custom-made gift from my grandma I preferred to have it fixed in their shop. The movers were very kind and apologetic and said the office would call me the next business day to have it fixed. I never heard from them.As far as the piano itself, that was un-damaged and they did a good job with that. I will be finding a different company next time.
