**PLEASE READ** **AVOID** This place is a SCAM! Ive been building computers for 20 years now but I had an extra computer I was building for the kids and just didnt have time to work out some driver issues. They wanted $60 to diagnose - fine. They came back with what I knew it was, a driver conflict. Then they wanted $200 to fix it. Even though I know its a minor problem I said fine because I dont have the time. But then, when I asked them to stress test the GPU with new drivers they refused unless I bought into the monthly program. Thats like a car dealership saying you have bad brakes and theyre going to fix them, but wont take it for a test drive so you have to just ASSUME that its fixed. And, if you get it home and it doesnt work, well then you bring it back an pay more money. They literally refused to test the new drivers unless I bought into their monthly program (as if ANYBODY needs their computer worked on monthly) and even after paying $260 refused to even stress test the GPU to make sure what they did worked. The entire thing is a scam. The goal is to get you into a monthly payment program that NOBODY should EVER need. If you can use google you dont need a monthly subscription for computer repair. This place is a scam and I hope to GOD there arent a lot of you falling for the scam. ** update ** took me 20 minutes to install the drivers that they wanted to charge $260 to install and I didnt charge myself another $300 to do a 5 minute stress test *** PLEASE USE GOOGLE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY THEY WILL SCAM YOU WITH THE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION.

I’ve never had such a positive experience with my computer issues than with Brad and Brian @ Data Doctors. From taking my old computer and cleaning it then transferring all data to my new computer and not having junk included. Top notch for sure and very pleasant too!

Excellent Customer Service!

They did a good job but they quite a bit of time to fix something really basic. Also, they miss diagnosised what was wrong with my pc; they figure it out after a while. It doesnt seem like the quality of the tech but more of they need more people employed that this site. I never saw more then one.

Have used the service of the one at Higley and Pecos twice and the service has been amazing. A couple of weeks ago had a laptop that would not charge, he tested for me and then showed me which charger to order on Amazon and refused to take any money. These guys are fist class, highly recommend

Data Doctors are my go-to IT people and have been since 2015. My laptop seized up and would not power down properly. Brought it in and Brian at the Higley/Pecos location took time away from his lunch to get me back up and running. That is great customer service. Thank you again.

Brad was able to retrieve the data off my 8 or 9 year old computer and transfer it to the new (refurbished) computer that I purchased from Data Doctors. I brought the new computer to my office, plugged everything in and it works perfectly. Just as if I was still using my old computer but much, much faster! Thank you !!

My hard drive crashed I took my computer to them Friday afternoon and I had it back Monday mid-day. They were able to pull all my data from my old hard drive, super happy about that. They were very professional, broke down the steps to check what was going on and associated cost. They called me with price to fix quickly after diagnosis. I was very happy with their service and the price. I like they are open on Saturday’s.I would use them again if my computer has challenges.

The people are so helpful and go far and behind to help you with your computer. I love bringing my computer to them for my services. I feel safe with everything they do to it.

Found the reason for my computer running very slow , recommended a new Solid State Drive and now its running fine for less than I expected to pay. Good job.

They are courteous, however I felt that it was misleading for them to claim they can recover data when in fact it is sent to another facility. The time involved, the cost as well left me with a thought that my data was now hostage to them. These are my personal views.

Brian did a wonderful job on changing my HD to a 2GB SSD and upgrading my RAM to 16GB. Works perfectly. Brian also showed me about the inside of the computer case. Interesting. Brian also got me a new access password to an older laptop that was just sitting because I forgot the password. Easy fix with Brian! My wife now has an Apple desktop needing a new SSDHD upgrade.

Brad and Connor were very professional. They did their jobs very well. We did have a problem regarding a new but defective motherboard that added nearly ten days to the build, but that was beyond their control.

I went to a free workshop on protecting me and my electronics. It was led by Ken. The information was extremely helpful! I learned tips that I can use immediately. Ken sent a followup email with all the websites that were used during the workshop so that I can continue my learning and investigations. My computer was also checked for security breaches and possibilities. I am thrilled with the time I spent at the shop and with the information that was shared.

Data Doctors is AMAZING! I brought in my mother’s laptop that she had managed to lock herself out of. Within 15 minutes, they had her system back up and running. She did not lose any of her pictures or files that she had saved on the hard drive.Other businesses in the area had recommended a complete wipe of her operating system and to start over, or of course the “its time for a new laptop” sales pitch.Nevertheless, Data Doctors is my ONLY choice when it comes to data recovery, computer repair, or upgrade. They are top notch and deserve 10 stars for how they helped relieve the stress of a very stressful situation!

To Be fair, this review was written due to my experience at the Tempe location, but anyone considering this company should see it.First free Microsoft Support screwed up my computer. Next Data Doctors only solution (the easy way out) was to re-install Windows 10. The only thing I asked them to do was restore my email from what they called a corrupt image. $270 later Im given back a bare bones Windows 10 system with my email restored to 3 days before. I didnt even know where to begin re-setting up my computer when I got it home. But the first place I started was to restore my email history which I did within 10 minutes of thought and common sense. I also found the techs always to be in a hurry and yes we know types. Geeks without the skills is what they are. The way I see it Data Doctors owes me $270 for the aggravation and wasting my time. If all you were going to do was reinstall Windows, I could have done that for free. Your service and company is weak and possibly a scam. I would go to Geek Squad next time. At least you have a corporation there to back their work and not just Brett.PS: Was I charged for a Windows 10 license? I already had a valid license. Also, received a follow up call from someone named Lenny today that left a 6-digit phone number to return his call. Pretty smart eh!

They have a sign that says “free computer check” out front so I brought by laptop in to see how much it would cost to transfer the data to another hard drive. They quoted me $150. I said I would pass on that price; so they charged me $59 for just giving me the initial quote!!! I pointed to their sign out front, and they told me that looking at my computer was free (no diagnostic was done), but the sign said nothing about not changing for a price quote!!! HAHAHA. You have to respect the hustlers but avoid them because they are crooks.

I went in to have a screw replaced on my laptop. They had the correct screw and installed it free of charge. I am so grateful to Data Doctors for being kind and helpful. I will definitely not forget this & recommend them to any of our friends/family.

Brad and Bryan did a very good job of getting my printer working again with my PC. They are an efficient team.

We brought in our laptop since the machine would not boot. James said to run the diagnostics it would be $59.99 and I told him we were ok with this charge. After they completed the diagnostics they said that the Operating System was corrupted and would need to be re-installed and to recover the data files. The charge for this service a whopping $190 in addition to the $60 I already paid for which would be a total of $250! I told him to forget it. I could go buy a new machine for another couple of hundred dollars. I came home and on another computer I downloaded windows 10 to a flash drive and installed it myself. Fortunately I had a backup of my data files. This place is a rip off. I know they need to make a profit but this is ridiculous. I would never go back or recommend them to anyone.

Mike fixed my problem on the first try. Answered all my questions and never was rushed. Glad I am on their plan.

They repaired my computer and cleaned it up. Sadly, they took off stuff I had paid for and took off the drivers for my printer. I had to have the printer drivers re-installed by someone else and had to re-purchase software. They are pleasant, but I dont think I will have them clean my computer again.

Spoke to Rob on the phone before going in to the store, he said to bring it in for a free checkup. I get to the store and James said its 59.99 to run a diagnostic. I told him what Rob said on the phone AND what it said on the website and he said, no, its 59.99 for a diagnostic. I dont have the money to spend for anything. All I wanted to know is whats causing the issue, so when I DO have the money, I know exactly how to get it fixed. Complete waste of gas, not taking the compute there again.

I was disappointed that my laptop couldnt be repaired because it needed a new motherboard and mine couldnt be replaced, but I felt they were up front about that to begin with, and the diagnostic fee was reasonable.

This place is a joke! So I got one call 5 days after I dropped my laptop off to tell me they had to send it to the other side of town to get someone to really look at it...Ok I guess dont take laptops to them since they cant handle them. Then I had to keep calling them for updates even when he would say I will call you right back. I guess Lenny is the manager there and I dealt with him the entire time and he could not care less.aboit anything. When I finally got ahold of the other store it was the same situation and the guy says it will be $1200 just for the part! This is laughable since a quick Google search brings it up for about $400 and even the people I bought the laptop from said it would be about $400.So save your time and money and go somewhere else this has cost me almost a month for nothing and to get a laughable quote.

One star is not for service its for lack of updating hours online. My computer crashed so I searched on my phone where to bring my computer. Drove to Higley and Pecos to find out they are closed on the weekend. Grrrrr

We were charged an initial fee to diagnose our hard drive and given a quote for data recovery. They give you a quote and say that you could be charged up to this amount. After a diagnosis, our technician calls and says that it is going to be more expensive than the max price quoted and says that the previous quote did not include parts. These guys are taking advantage of peoples misfortune. Questionable business practice if you ask me.
