I was referred by family in the area after a very rapid move from out of state. Upon my arrival I was informed that due to the amount of services I required, I would have to come back later in the day for an appointment. The woman (I feel horrible, I cant remember her name) that set my appointment was charming, sweet, very thorough, extremely helpful and very patient with helping me understand and plan what services I wanted. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by another equally as charming woman but, failed to get her name. Jackie ended up being the unfortunate barber to get me and I have to say the 1100 miles I drove to end up doing business with her was well worth it! She is extremely talented, detail oriented, professional, personable, engaging... I could compliment her for days! All of these ladies are amazing and well exceed anyones expectations. Please spoil yourself and experience what they have to offer, you wont be disappointed!

This is hands down the best shop for men in the Valley. I’m pretty particular when it comes to my haircut and beard trim as many are and after skipping around for years, I found Jackie to be the best stylist I’ve ever had. Not only does she have a natural gift for seeing the end result but has the skillset to make it happen. I’ve stuck with her for 8 years because she is talented, consistent and dependable. I don’t think in those 8 years she has ever rescheduled me once unless it was my doing. To put it into perspective, I am approached multiple times a week asking about where I go for my cut. Jackie has also trained and hired the other girls with similar talent, so no matter who you get your results are bound to be stellar. The shop itself is always clean, organized and the staff is professional. These ladies actually care that you are well taken care of and that you look your best because their name is on each and every cut. This company also produces their own products for men as well. The products are top notch and far less expensive than they could be. It has taken me a long time to write this well deserved review as I do not give my recommendations lightly. On that note, I couldn’t be more confident in recommending this shop to everyone.

Jackie always does my hair. She is very professional and just fun to talk with. Never had a bad experience. She is always on time. You can tell she enjoys her work. Nice part is she has been there since they opened a year ago. Great place!

Worst barbershop experience ever. Needed a trim, but really was looking forward to the beard trim / shave. First of, I made an appointment, but they couldnt find it. So they said they could fit me in... which apparently means have someone who is in a hurry to accommodate their next customer customer cut my hair. She said she wouldnt have time to do my beard, so I said no worries, Ill just go someplace else, since that was REALLY the service I wanted... Oh, no, no, well get it, its fine... Should have been a clue. I asked for a slight trim, with a taper... I got a high n tight. Seriously, I looked six weeks out of bootcamp when she was done. It hadnt been all that long since the last cut, so it was obvious how I wanted it done (well, that, and the fact that I TOLD HER WHAT I WANTED DONE!!). It was so bad, I couldnt let her continue. Not even with the straight razor neck trim (after that, I wasnt going to let her near my neck with a sharp cutting tool!) And no way was she gonna get those clippers near by beard. I just said forget it. And then, even though it was CLEAR that I was VERY UNHAPPY with the service... SHE CHARGED ME!!! Thank you for letting me pay you to jack up my hair for the next six weeks. Not like I have to be seen in public or anything. The trim, shave, etc. was supposed to be a treat for myself. Guess how THAT worked out. Ill never go back.

Kenzie is so kind and does a really nice job. I have gone in twice now and she helped clean up my undercut and trim my hair. She gave me everything I asked for and I just love coming here!!

Though my first haircut at this place didn’t go as I had requested, the girl made up for it with her exceptional personality and customer service. I have now sat in the chair of five different stylists. I love my haircut every time. The customer service is off the charts! The place is very clean. I take my son there and he always looks sharp afterwards.

Started here because my barber didnt have any openings. I have since switched to this place being my only barber. I love Laura she listens to what you want and does exactly that. She books up quick though but that is probably because she is awesome.

Just had my first haircut at MUG and Macey was my stylist... IT WAS FANTASTIC! The salon is great, Macey is awesome and my haircut was perfect! I’m new to the area and so happy I found MUG, I’ll definitely be coming back:)

I was skeptical about how good this place could be, but I was pleasantly surprised by my haircut quality. I received my first haircut sometime in the summer, and I havent been anywhere else since. Jackie does a fantastic job of cutting my hair and my sons.

My first time here and it was a great experience. I booked my appointment online and had a couple of different services. When I arrived Laura knew what I wanted and did a fantastic job at everything. Haircut, shampoo, and eyebrows. I can’t recommend her enough. Very personable and a great stylist. I’ll be back again soon.

I went into MUG today for a haircut and beard trim. Laura is sweet and did a great job with my hair! Definitely recommend this spot and ill definitely be returning for my next cut.

This was the worst hair cut I’ve ever received. The women that cut my hair asked and received specific introductions on what I wanted and about half way through it was clear she was not qualified to do what was requested, and mind you it was a simple gentleman cut. Ultimately she butchered my hair and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I always get a great haircut and shave, Laura does a great job, and is very pleasant company. Shes friendly and knows what shes doing.

Very happy there is a MUG location closer to home. Been going to the one on Val Vista for a while.Laura did an amazing job and will definitely be scheduling my next appointment with her.

I didn’t have to tell my life story and the stylist Laura was able to focus on my haircut and do an exceptional job.
