Instead I wanted to study Wing Chun (Ving Tsun) with a style of training that was a fit for both myself and the instructor.At Moy Tung Kung Fu in Georgetown, I found my fit. The womens classes are intimate. The school is unassuming. The instruction by Simo BeeBee Hu is top notch. Simo is a quiet force. She teaches. She is patient. She watches me practice. She knows the value of letting a student recognize their own mistake, but she corrects when necessary to make sure technique is proper.It is a place of quiet training. It has a vibe of respect and dignity. An absolutely outstanding school. Of my Eastern Martial Arts training in three Shaolin Kung Fu schools, one Tai Chi school, a Tae Kwon Do school, and Sifu Bartells school, his classes in Ving Tsun are by far the most engaging and well-organized Ive had.
