Had a great experience! Captain Steve was super friendly and knowledgeable. We did the 4 hour charter and the amount of time was perfect for our family of four (2 adults and 2 kids, ages 14 and 11). We caught several lake trout and at the end Steve cleaned and fileted them for us which was awesome! Well definitely be back next year!

Steve did an outstanding job for us. He is a very pleasant person. He really knows fishing. He goes the extra mile to make sure we had a great trip. We even caught a lot of fish.

6/4/21: Took a 4 hr. morning trip with Capt. Steven for my 43rd birthday along with my daughter, brother and sister-in-law. Fishing was a tough go but we still managed to catch a nice landlocked salmon and a lake trout. We also caught a smaller rainbow trout that we had to release and missed a couple of other fish. It was very nice weather and relaxing just to be out on Seneca Lake in the boat. Capt. Stevenworked extremely hard for us and was very friendly and professional. Thank you Capt. Steven for a great experience, I would not hesitate for a moment to book again with you!

Booked a 4 hr trip w/Capt Steven for my father, son, nephew & self on 6/15/21. Despite the rain showers we managed to boat 5 nice lake trout & missed 1 fish. The 4 we kept were big enough to feed the 10 in our group & shared 2 filets with our 4 neighbors. Great trip, especially watching my 80 year old father land his biggest fish yet. Looking forward to going back. Definitely recommend fishing with Roys Boys.

We had a great morning on the water! Captain Steve is no rookie when it comes to fishing, we landed some good lake trout with the biggest being 33” at 11 lb, we will definitely come back, highly recommended!

Lived on Seneca my whole life, I have my own boat and struggled the last few years learning how to fish. Steven took me out on a 4 hour with me and my sons and caught 5 lake trout and 3 salmon he cleaned them all and they were tasty. We did a 6 hour charter in august and caught what captain Steve said was the biggest salmon on the boat 9.21lbs! My son fought the fish for a bit watching it jump and pull line was awesome Highly recommended!!

Came up to the finger lakes and rented a boat from Roys marina where we met Steve filleting trout for his clients had a talk with him found he had 2 open days so we took both, first day we had 10 fish on and got 6 in the boat kept them for dinner next day we went out and landed all 7.. he cleaned them he was hard working changing baits and making sure we were catching fish!! Thanks Captain Steve!!

My daughter and I had a great time. Captain Steve is very knowledgeable and he knew were to get the fish. My 16 year old had the time of her life and I landed a 27 inch lake trout. Thanks Steve! Next time were in town we will definetly look you up if we are looking to do more fishing.
