When I moved here from NYC, I was hesitant to find a good nail place that met my needs. I came across Tina’s nail spa and the service has been excellent since the first day. I usually get a gel pedicure, deluxe treatment, which always leaves my feet brand new. I love when they ask if I want something to drink because it really makes me feel cared for. Also, The massage chair is a hit. My nails are always exactly what I ask for and they introduced me to dip powder which makes my own nail look great for a good amount of time. Shout out to Jasmine for always doing an amazing job and also Lina! The place is always clean and tidy and staff is friendly. Booking an appointment is easy and efficient. Tina always calls me back to confirm. I feel comfortable coming here and would recommend to anyone looking for a good pedicure and relaxing time.

L,lan did a regular french manicure , and regular polish pedicure. She did advise me that regular french wouldnt last as long as gel french, but never mentioned that the french wouldnt last but 2 days. I tried to work with her to do a gel polish , but at a reduced price from the extra $20 since I had just on Friday paid them 61.00 and tipped her $5.00. She said she wouldnt do that unless I paid another $20. I have had regular french polish to last me 2 weeks at my former salon before moving to this side of town. She claimed she had already spoke to manager and she wouldnt work with me either. She said because I had been washing my hands often with my sister being in hospice, which was true. I think this is a very very money hungry business, and only cares about the dollar , and not the clients. I had planned on staying with L, lan, but now will never go to this salon again. I would advise anybody that wants to be treated fairly to not go to this business. Mary Y.

I called on a Saturday for a same day appointment, they had an opening in 45 minutes -- that never happens elsewhere! They said the service I wanted would take an hour, which never happens elsewhere...its always longer. When I got there they were expecting me, they got my manicure started on time (which never happens elsewhere) and the whole thing took exactly an hour!!! That never happens! They were friendly, they took their COVID precautions seriously, the place was squeaky clean, and the work they did was really, really good. What a find!

I could not have been happier with my experience. Jasmine was amazing. She was very thorough and took her time, even staying WELL past closing and I never once felt she was rushing. I got a full acrylic set and my nails look beautiful! Staff was friendly and pleasant. Will definitely be my go to nail salon!

This place is really great in all honesty. They get the job done. Only thing is that its kind of small and the one nail tech I had kept hitting my cuticles but they do a great job and its a quaint little place.

The atmosphere here is nice. I went for my second time yesterday to get a gel pedicure and gel color change on my fingers. After letting the employee know what I wanted, she tried to talk me out of the gel pedicure because she wasnt sure if I knew how expensive it was. I wanted my nails and toes to match and the first time I went, they had said they did not have matching colors for my color choice. So second visit I didnt want to deal with trying to pick two colors that matched, I just wanted the same gel color on both. After finding out there was no matching color, I told her I wanted what I asked for the first time, a gel pedicure and gel color change on my fingers. She let me know it was going to be $80 dollars before they began, so I was expecting an $80 job to be done. They gave me to an inexperienced nail tech who had to ask for instructions for my pedicure before she began. She also had to redo several of my toes, taking up a lot of time. We then finished, barely got a 2 minute leg rub (not massage! The best part) and moved on to my fingernails. She put three coats on all unevenly, the color is thicker on parts of my nails than others. There is color that dripped stuck hanging off the underside of my nails. My nails are completely natural and she took a drill to them!!!! I asked her to please stop thats my natural nail! She continued until she got to my thumb, the drill got stuck and almost ripped it off. I then said please stop again, after almost ripping my nail off she luckily did not drill my other nails. The paint job on my toes and fingers is 1/4 in off my nail, not covering my entire nail. This happened the first time as well, looks like I got my nails done a week ago and I got them done less than 24 hours ago! This is highly unprofessional and I should have asked to seen her license. When checking out they asked what was wrong, I showed them and they then offered to fix it. But after being there for two hours I did not have time to stay, I should have been offered a slight refund or a raincheck. Will not be wasting my time or money here again!

I love this place. I tan here, get my nails done and my eyebrow waxing all here. The girls who work here are funny and entertaining. Mrs. Tina is amazing, she keeps check on everything there and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Doesnt deserve even 1 star. This place is awful. You can tell all they care about is tips. The lady even asked me where I worked Im guessing to get a general idea of my income. First of all I had a chipped fake nail. She took it off and kept my real nail that was also chipped. She did not trim my real nail. Instead she puts powder gel on top of my real nail without a fake nail! It was my ring finger and it was half the length of my others... so cheap and unprofessional/sloppy. The cherry on top is when I got finished and I left her a tip. I said thank you (even though I was upset) and she had the nerve to say yeah um excuse me. I did not have to tip your rude self first of all after doing a horrible job. The lady who did my nails is the Manager!!!! Shes always upfront with a blue tooth phone device. After a week my gel nails already chipped. I will NEVER return to this place. She was lucky I didnt go off on her in the salon.

I called 5 minutes before they closed and Tina was a Godsend....I have been on bedrest for 5 days and she told me to come in......1 minute to closing she put my tips on and was so sweet. I finally feel better and my nails look great! Will be recommending to all my co-workers at Rex and to all my friends!

My daughter and I frequent Nail and Tan monthly. I have never had a problem with this business or its staff. They have always been helpful and considerate. I did get a gift certificate from another local Nail Salon, the people were rude , the place was gross and I will not go back. So keep up the great job Nail and Tan, well see you soon!

The place inside is beautiful. All of the nail specialist are super nice and the owner Tina is super nice to anyone who enters the shop. There is so many colors to chose from and a wide variety of nail options. They also offer tanning and waxing. Definitely a great place to go for a relaxing time.

I have had 3 pedicures so far and currently have an appointment set up. I absolutely love this place! I have frequently used other places in the Garner area not knowing about this establishment, but I now call this place a treasure! It is so clean, welcoming and the employees are so nice and professional. If you are looking for a new salon, Id say you just found it!!!

A good brow lady is very hard to come by. And, your brows are something you dont just let anyone do, especially without a referral. However, I had to take a chance on someone new, as my brow lady is missing-in-action. So, being that Nails & Tan is close to home, I gave them a try and have absolutely no regrets. Katie is so fast, thorough, and pleasant. She did an excellent job on my brows. She waxed, tweezed, and trimmed them perfectly - all in about 10 minutes. I highly recommend her.

This is by far, the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. I would not recommend this place at all. I gave it one star, which was a stretch, only because they did have a nice selection of nail colors. But even one star is too much for this place.Where do I start with all the problems?1. The technician was very unprofessional. I was never introduced to him, but I think his name was Martin, I heard another patron call him by name. That should have cued me as to the experience I was about to have.2. Problem number 2 was the extreme pain and resulting blood when the technician pulled an ingrown nail. I almost screamed out loud. It hurt so bad. Today, I am walking around in open-toed sandals and think my toe nail might be infected. There is a proper way to remove an ingrown nail, and this person was not trained properly.3. The entire time I was there another technician (I’ll call him Dean) sat at the nearby nail desk playing on his phone. Half of the time ‘Dean’ was totally slumped in the chair, not even sitting upright. The phone was muted so that was not an issue, but again, totally unprofessional. To add to the unprofessionalism of this place, he had on a set of computer goggles (the kind where your phone goes inside). So he was sitting there watching who-knows-what. At one point he put his hands up in the air. What??? So weird. And awkward. And totally unprofessional.4. I could have done a better job painting my nails myself. There was so much paint on my skin it wasn’t even funny. Was this guy even trained? I am seriously wondering if he had a licensee.5. When the dryer went off for my nails, ‘Martin’ totally ignored me. In fact, everyone ignored me. So I got up, removed the toe cotton, and walked out. The front receptionist did finally recognize me and said good bye. ‘Martin’ was busy with ‘Dean’ playing on their phones. No goodbye from him at all.5. The front of the store is a Buddhist Shrine. When you walk in you are greeted with none other than Buddha, a big gold statue. Below it on the ground, were typical offerings of oranges, water and other things. There was also a card near the drying station advertising meditation. I am totally for freedom of religion, but next time I will patronize someone who shares my religion or keeps theirs private.6. Everyone there, with the exception of the receptionists, spoke Chinese the whole time I was there. Again, very rude.Do yourself a favor, and skip this place totally!

Today I went and had a manicure done by Elizabeth. She did a wonderful job. This was my first visit to the place and I plan to go again. The place was very clean and everyone seemed really nice. I would definately recommend.

Pedicure was $80.. it was $20 to remove old gel polish. $15 for new gel polish and $45 for the pedicure. Never been charged $20 for removal of old gel polish when reapplying gel polish. Rip off.

I don’t recommend, not even a full week & my nails popped off w/ no effort ..went to go get the two nails fixed ... the MANAGER put my nails on crooked.

I have been going here to get my nails done for a few months and I absolutely love it. I have been to other salons in the past that werent clean and the staff was not professional and were not properly supervised. Tina is a hands on owner. The place is always spotless and Tina is literally there any times the doors are open. She walks around any time she is free checking on the work of her employees. I couldnt possibly be more impressed.

My mom and I went here today to get pedicures. We both had a great experience. Nails and Tan had a friendly staff, and the ladies who did our pedicures did a really good job. I would go back here again.

I love this place! I just went for my first time. I had to change my appointment bc I had to take a cab to the salon. They were extremely accommodating. When I came in, I had to use a walker due to hip surgery. My nail technician, Kim, was AMAZING. She helped me get around the salon and did an incredible job on my Mani/pedi. Would recommend to everyone in the area!

I went once and had a pretty basic decent experience with the nails. I wasnt looking for nothing crazy, just simple solid color acrylics and they looked great. Lots of reviews on the nails, but Im curious on waxing and tan. I am checking them out tomorrow on tanning and I hope they are not as pricey as some of these other salons. I always follow up with reviews though, So I will be getting back :)

Ive gone here for a few years mainly to get my eyebrows done. Theyve always done a great job but the last few visits Ive been rushed in out and treated as an inconvenience. I know I dont get other services done but I shouldnt feel or be treated as if my business isnt worthy of their time. Ive had to go back home and fix my brows myself because of the lack of effort theyve put in. I will find a new place and take my business elsewhere.

I was there Saturday. I walked in for a pedicure and a acrílic full set.First of all the nail tech cut my cuticle too short on my toe I was bleeding.Then my full set looks horrible nails are super thick and the shape and size its not consistent. I will never go back. I tried to tell the nail tech I didnt like my nails to fox and she was just treating me so bad in a bad mood.

Horrible service!! They just cut my cuticle to the point where it was bleeding and burning. I have a wedding to go to tomorrow and now have unpolished nails. I cut the service short because I was bleeding and in pain. They still charged me $15!! I will never go back.

Wonderful!! I got my eyebrows waxed there today and ive had manicures in the past (which I loved), the staff was friendly and quick. My eyebrows look great!! she did a perfect arch and tweezed them afterwards. I will definitely be going back and I would absolutely recommend others.
