Pool level of customer service today. As stated in my review, I will never go back. My advice: stop filing so much on one side to prevent this from happening. Also, learn to take accountability for your work.

Excellent service by John! He did my dipped nails. He used the Organic materials so this was excellent on my part. I also had a pedicure but I didnt get her name and she also did a great job.

I’m am blown away by the service I received today! I called ahead and got in an hour before closing and they still took their time and made sure everything was perfect. I showed them what I wanted for my maternity pics and Jon did EXACTLY what I wanted! I love my nails so much, I would recommend this place to anyone!!!

I just moved to this area. And I have been to 5 different nail shops and nothing came close to what I was accustomed to. Husband and wife are very nice and personable. The other ladies are nice also. My nails lasted longer than two weeks. They only do Dip and gel. So if that is what you want. This not the nail shop for you. For now they have a returning customer.

The gentleman, John that did my nails does a great job, he’s professional and polite, however, the women in that shop are RUDE, MONEY HUNGRY LIARS. They price gouge, raising the cost of service without notice, and then get unprofessional and argumentative when you ask about the spike in prices. I had been going there for years, because John does such a great job, but after my experience today, I will never set foot in that salon again. John, is too good to work with such low moral dirty women.

They were so incredibly nice and they also kept conversations going. Everyone wore masks which is amazing. My toes look great and my feet are so soft. Definitely recommend.

Customer service is nice yet the nails could have been much better. No shape on most of them, very thick, and indents on most of the nails.

Just moved into the area and needed to find a nail salon. This place was close by and the reviews were good. I went in and Im happy. Tommy did a great job in my nails and Tina did a nice, simple pedicure. Looking forward to becoming a regular and getting one of their deluxe pedicures.

I love my nails so much !! These are my birthday set and John did an amazing job doing what I wanted. These were organic ombré dipping powder with pink and purple. I 10/10 recommend this place and will come back soon.

The deluxe pedicure was everything! They also were patient while explaining the colors I wanted for my dip nails and they did an amazing job. Will come back for sure.

Love this place! Gone to other places that make nails too thick that my hair gets caught underneath and nail eventually pops off. Not here, John makes dip thin and nails actually lasts longer. The dip is organic and is good for your nails. Staff is attentive and John is fast. I highly recommend!

When I came in a ask for nails and toes, I was unaware that they no longer did acrylic so I ask for gel. Another customer came in after I was damn near done getting my toes did so after she was done, I was waiting to be seated but they took the other girl that came in AFTER me first so I ended up paying fory toes and leaving... The lady that did my toes did an excellent job btw...

My fiancé Taylor has gone here multiple times and has loved the experience and service every time. They take their time and really make her happy every time she gets a new set of nails. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Skye Nails regularly for about 6 months. I had tried a few salons in the area and this one is the best. The quality of customer service and the quality of product is the reason I continue to come back. I do dip manicures (and the occasional pedicure). My manicures easily last 2 weeks, sometimes three. I never have issues with peeling or breaking. Highly recommend!!

I love supporting this family-run, local business in Garland. I went yesterday for a pre-Mothers Day treat and enjoyed a pedicure and dipping powder manicure. Skye Nails only uses organic dipping powder and its very gentle on my nails. Besides many color choices, you can also get a French manicure with dipping powder and it will last for weeks!

I was looking today to see if there was any updates on openings. So I read all the reviews. I’ve been coming here at least 3-4 years, John always does my nails & I prefer Jenny to do my pedicures. In all that time I’ve been about 95% happy, mostly because I chose a bad color. A couple of times when John was in a hurry, he might have left a few rough edges, but overall, this is my place!!! They are always welcoming & pleasant. I was amazed at some of the comments about rudeness & bad outcomes, etc. people need to take into account, this is a family owned business, they are Vietnamese, and while they do quite well, sometimes there is a language issue. Maybe some of this stuff happened long before I started coming, but my experience has always been good, they are such hard working people, I would always recommend them. Tina, John’s wife is so sweet, can’t imagine her being rude to anyone. It’s hard to get John to talk at all, so also find it hard to think he would be inappropriate. Just saying folks!!!!!!

The service is great! They get you in and out, and there is hardly ever a wait time. Tina does my nails, and she does a fabulous job. I always get the Gel nails because they last so long. 3-4 weeks. And you dont have to wait for them to dry. They have all colors of Gel, so its a must try. Once you try it, youll love it!

Didnt have to wait. Took less than two hours for pedi and manicure. First time visiting and it was nice and reasonable price. I do feel I still need more work done on my medicure. I will return again. Thanks

Awesome place .I was offered a drink of my choice - (wine , water , soda). The staff was warm and friendly .They paid attention to my requests and was also very respectful.I love the organic dipping powder . My nails felt light and clean . Most importantly it looked beautiful.

This is organic deep nail and it’s a good for your nails no damage to your real nail your nail is gonna last longer and it’s comfortable the nail is not that heavy and I recommend it to you.

By far the worst experience I have ever had at any nail shop, the lady cut a chunk of my toe and then pours tons of alcohol on it as if its not going to burn like hell and between all this going on she not once apologized, then im explaining to the lady how I would like my toes done and she acts as if she has no clue what she is doing and has to keep asking another lady for help. Then I kindly let her know she was not doing them how I wanted them and she gets upset and get up and leaves and another lady had to come finish. Very unprofessional and I will never come back or recommend them to anyone.

I found this place just passing by decided to give it a try and i had a great experience, its a quiet and calming environment. My nail tech was Johnny, hes a very good tech and I loved my nails. they also now have complimentary red and white wine.

They do awesome gel nails here. Tina is who i get every time and she does a great job. They always last at least 3 weeks every time. They are the best i have found in this area and reasonably priced. I am super picky about my nails so if they can make me happy thats saying something.

I went in to get my daughter and her friend nails done and asked for a full set and was informed they don’t do regular full sets, they only offer dip and powder and it’s very expensive but could go up the street where they are cheap and looks good!!! Was informed their nails start at $35 and up, I said that’s fine my daughter and her friend wears the dip powder and we were still turned away!!!! I didn’t ask a price and I’m not concerned with price but whatever we left just felt we were discriminated because the way we look apparently!! So won’t get my business again!!

I love coming here ! Ive tried many nail salons in the area and no one compares to the quality work at Skye nails ! I usually get dip powder nails because its healthier for your nails. If you go Tuesday through Thursday you can get a 20% discount which is greattttt! The place is always clean and everyone who works there is super friendly. They ask if you want anything to drink and brings you a beverage. So far all my experiences have been good! I would recommend people to come in and experience it for yourself

Ive always had superb service if Im having my nails dipped or enjoying a relaxing pedicure. Theyre all very attentive and offer drink when I walk in the door.

The first time John did my nails good and I went back to get a polish change with the gel polish the gel started chipping after three days I went back to get it fixed and was advised by the lady(Amy) that sits in the front that they dont do gel polish well unless its on your real nail not on the acrylic and I should go back to the nail shop I used to go to. In which I advised her if they dont do gel well they should let people know before purchase.

I have been going to sky nails for about 3 months I love this place John is fantastic he started me on the organic dip and my nails have grown so much!! Now I don’t even have to get tips glued on!! I dip my veryyyy strong real nails!!!! They offer me wine every time and have great attitudes!!! I can’t forget Sky he is so hilarious and love talking to him!!! Overall great work and great atmosphere and you get to watch HGTV my favorite!!!!!!

Will never be back! John is rude--I had to ask three times for the wifi password.I told him I wanted medium length coffin/ballerina shape and he gave me short and square. I think he only knows how to do one type of nail style. My nails look so ugly---he didnt even try and fix them. I will never be back, its no wonder this place stays empty.

I went there for my cousins bday to get our nails done.The man did the birthday girls nails first and would not let her choose the length of the nails she got.She was very mad and I had asked for mine to be longer.He obliged but then started asking me uncomfortable questions like my grade,age and many more things I did not want to share to a stranger.It made me very uncomfortable and I wanted it to be over.My other cousin got the lady and she did her nails long.And then we had to pay $105!They were literally above my real nail and didnt cover the whole thing.I will never come back here due to this experience.

Rating: 2.5 starsBecareful. Speak up if something is bothering you about your nails here. Techs might intentionally neglect something, just so you can come back and pay $5 for repair or fix. Im not mad. It is what it is, that the cruelness of business for ya. Not all nail salons are like that though. John does nails well here. Try to wait for him if you can. I asked for receipt, said they dont give reciepts for cash payments. Very weird if you ask me.

I wish I could put no star! First of all a few moments after I arrived the nail shop had a very thorough inspection at that time they were not able to use the (calluse remover thing) which ticked me off because thats one of the services that I was paying for! Second I dont understand why theres only 2 nail techs (whom were both working on someone elses nails) and 4 women only capable of ONLY doing pedicures.. Might I add they were just sitting around talking amongst each other! So I was told that I had to wait an additional 45 minutes just to get ONE nail cut down! WORST NAIL SHOP EXPERIENCE! I WILL NOT BE RETURNING Way too understaffed!!!!
