I have known Bill for around 30 years I have been taking my trucks and family vehicles (new and old) to him for everything from engine repair to maintenance. The main thing I like about Bill is he is a great mechanic and been doing this forever and just as important!!!! He can be trusted!!!! If it’s broken he’ll fix it at a fair price and many times when I thought I had issues it turned out to be nothing and he took care of it and charged me nothing. If I could give no stars, I would. This guy plays the I guess, while you pay game. Ill lay out the facts and you decide for yourself if he is a thief. I took my 2001 Chevy Impala to this guy because it cut off on me when I was waiting for a light, I had problems starting it sometimes, and I needed a few other things done. Also note that my check engine light was NOT ON, when I dropped it off. First he said it was the fuel tank, then he said it was something else (I forgot), then he said it was the mass air flow sensor. He even said that the MAF looked original. When I told him that I had it replaced in 2016, he suggested that the weather made it look old. When he said he fixed my car and it was running great, I picked up my car and drove it home. When I went to drive it again, I still had problems starting the car, and the check engine light was on. I took it back and he reset the computer. I drove it again and the light came on again. I took the car back and he put on a new gas cap on it. The light still came on. Of course, I failed inspection. Then, as I was driving the car one day, it almost cut off on me again as I was waiting at a light. I called and he told me that he would have to look at the car to find out what was wrong. What???!! Wasnt that what he was supposed to have done when he said it was fixed and took my money? So, I paid this guy $1,458.20 and my car is just as broken as when I took it to him, plus I have the added benefit of the check engine light being on. At first I couldnt decide whether he was just an unconscionable thief or merely incompetent. But now I know its both. So you decide. Is this someone you would do business with? My advice is to stay away from this shameless, swindling, charlatan disguised as a mechanic and even more poorly disguised as a decent human being.
