I say met my expectations because I received excellent service. But, Ive come to expect nothing less from Gardena Nissan. Everyone I deal with is professional, friendly and knowledgeable from Nina, the receptionist, Daisy and Muhammed on the sales staff and Mauricio, Dave and Daisy in the service department. I am very glad I decided to buy a Nissan this year! I showed Mauricio a notice Id received from Nissan about possible recalls and he even took care of that, even though it wasnt part of the appointment.

I purchased what I thought was a certified used car, only to find out that they sold me a car that had been damaged. When I was getting ready to test drive the car, the front tire was very low, so the rep put air in the tire. I told her and the manager I wanted to have the tire checked out to make sure everything was ok because it made a noise on the right side. I was told to bring the car back the next day. I took the car back and they told me I would have to come back earlier. I then took the car back and I waited over 30 minutes before I was acknowledged only to be told I needed to bring the car in by 3:00. It was 3:00 when I got there and they didn’t say anything to me until I got out of the car to ask for help. Needless to say, I took my car back on two more occasions, only to be told I would have to bring it back earlier. A malfunction light came on for my back-up camera, and then my steering column shifted. I immediately took it to the dealer and they had the nerve to tell me to bring it back in the morning. I told them I had been trying to bring my car to get checked four times and that I was not going to take it. He told me I could leave it and that would look at it the next day. I got a text saying that I hit something and if I wanted to use my insurance or pay for the repairs. I told them I did not hit anything and that I was not going to file a false claim. I told them that I had been trying to have the car looked at since day one and that they were giving me the runaround. Now I see why, they wanted to blame the damages on me so they would not have to fix the car and save some money. The used car manager pretty much said he hoped the mechanics didn’t find some things wrong with the cars that come in, in a joking manner, but that is exactly what they did to my car. They thought they could get over on a woman, but it is not over. They put my life in danger selling me a car with damages and they had the audacity to not fix my car.

Im grateful and impressed, particularly with Roberto and Jagger. Let me briefly explain.Our daughter just moved to LA and got CA license plates. As we were returning to MI the next day, I was trying to help her get a few things accomplished, including getting her CA license plates on her car.We went to Gardena Nissan. After they gave us a couple of license plate holders and some screws, they also let me borrow a screwdriver. What normally would be simple, 5-minute job, turned into an hour of hard work. One of the salespeople, seeing me struggle in the parking lot, said a service technician would be right over to help. Two minutes later, Roberto and Jagger show up. Ill spare the details, but almost an hour later they had us on the road after a mighty struggle to remove a stubborn (rusted in) screw. They never gave up and were extremely polite the entire time.My daughter will have her Rogue serviced at Gardena Nissan. They have easily earned her trust, hence her business.

Guy that approached me at first did very little to inform me about the prices and parts but was very pushy into signing away his estimate. Poor explanation when asked about the price, went as far as to say “we don’t charge for labor bro” as if I was obligated to give my money out no questions asked. Unrealistic. Just wanted new wiper blades and oil change with filter. Said if I wasn’t interested in their prices I could always go inside and purchase blades myself. Poor customer service. Seemed irritated I was there.

I took my 2019 Nissan Altima to the dealer because my check engine light came on. I called to make an appointment but was told that I didn’t need one that I can bring my car right in. The service guy (I can’t recall his name at the moment) informed me that they would have to keep my car overnight because the systems would be shut down for a few hours. So, they sent me and estimate via text message of the charges and I called to go over the charges. I agreed to everything and asked for a discount and was given 10% off of my bill. A couple of hours later I received another text letting me know my car was done. When I arrived I payed the bill and received my washed car. If I had to give a complaint I would say that the car smelled like a mechanic. Other than that I was very satisfied with everything that was done.

Unfortunately, they changed a lot . Their service is more important for their own employees not the customers. I went there many times last few times to charge my Nissan 2018 .But the chargers were not available to customers because their own vehicles are charging more than hours.I went back to there Twice after hours to check .Same issues.They allowed their own employees or own vehicle charge but they don’t care outside person. Only way getting 4 stars because their employees or friends gave them higher reviews.It is like old school. It was great service but it changed so much since 2013 and it’s getting worse.

Went into to do 36k mi service on an used LEAF I bought from a Ford dealer with 39k mi on, but was told no such service but only 10k mi service was offered. There is no numerical data on the report or explanation as to the condition of the car or the parts replaced. Did the job okay, I think, but I might try a different dealer next. People were reasonably friendly but not more to deserve an average rating in my opinion.

Everyone was really nice and it was my first time going there so it was nice that they explained everything from start to end. They said they would text me when my car service was done though but they didnt. I had to call after waiting 3 hours at home and close to their closing time. I received a link too that showed me if my car was finished but it never got out of the being worked on stage. Besides this, i had a good experience and honestly these technical things are expected which is why i called instead of waiting for my text.

This was my first time using Nissan Gardena. I bought my 2013 Nissan Sentra in December 2013 I’ve always used the Nissan dealer in Oxnard because I worked in that area. I was very satisfied with my service rep Ray Ward. Ray kept me abreast of what was going on through out the process. Horrible, I had an appointment at 3 pm on Monday , before that I had come in on Saturday for my brakes. During the inspection Chris told me I needed a new battery. I asked for details since I had purchased the battery from Nissan a few years back. Chris told me if it was under warranty they can just swap it. Made my appointment for Monday and called before for the pricing. I was told over the phone since my battery was under the manufacturer warranty that I will pay a prorated amount of $50. My husband took the car and Chris told him the same information and made him sign on the quote with this amount. Then my husband was told that they will not charge him for cleaning the battery cables nor the service fee and that the wait was 3 hours. 3 hour wait with an appointment that is very inconvenient. Chris left for the day and my husband was then helped by Raymond (Ray) who told my fiancé the charge will be over $100 ( basically the charge for a mew battery and the service fee). Ray was degrating and unhelpful blaming Chris for everything and claimed he did not know what the conversation was like. They didn’t even look in the system for notes / warranty information. He said pay or leave the car. I then get a text from daisy who claimed she was the employee relations manager. I called her for this issue and she kept saying she did not know what to do or did not know anything. I had to tell her to please pull up the records to explain to me the warranty. She did not do so and out me on hold for 30 mins after saying “ I’m sorry I have 50 other calls ahead of you I can’t do anything “ with just 2 minutes before closing time at 6pm. Ray called Chris , ray said Chris gave us the wrong info and he can charge us $70. He said it as he was doing us a favor. I am the customer who asked first before the service was done. Signed on the agreed amount and then asked to check their systems and with the original rep for this mistake and was treated like the customer who is wrong. The manager and ray treated us like customers w no value. And they told us Chris will call the next day and apologize and give us a $20 credit. How can nissan have daisy represent this big company who is so unprofessional and no will to help the customer. No follow up from her either. Very disappointed and will not bring back the car for service here. I will tell all my family and friends of this horrible experience.

Daisy is by a huge margin their best salesperson, whatever you do dont let Mohamed to try to sell you a car, we were told that our truck had the 167 points safety check from carfax and 3 months later the airbags stopped working 🙄 when we went to have the issue fixed , the service department tried to charge us the parts and repair labor for a ( recall) from Nissan, the same sales guy told the manager that our warranty had expired when I purchased a extended warranty contract 😒. Be wise ask for Daisy and the manager.

Second time here for the same issue! Came in at 0700 on a Saturday, to figure out why the car was hesitant when I placed my foot on the gas. I was promised the vehicle would be ready at 0900. I went to see what was going on at 1000, and the vehicle wasnt on the lift. Well...the vehicle was ready at 1330!!! Im happy to say the issue has been resolved, and they have a whole new staff. So, Im hopeful. However, they need to work on their timing and organization. No one wants to spend half there day at the dealership waiting for their car. If so, they need to give out loaner vehicles while someones car is being serviced.

Very non personable, I felt like they just wanted me to spend more money not make sure my car was in safe condition, also my service engine light came on not 24 hours after having a oil change. And it appears that oil was on my garage floor which I never had a oil leak. I plan on taking it to Mission Hills Nissan, a much better and honest service. I came in for a routine oil change and a inspection overview. I had an appointment for 7am. I arrived at 710 am, and I waited for almost 3hrs before I had to go to the cashier window and ask about the status of my vehicle. Finally 15mins later a service technician came to me and showed me several services that where needed (mostly flushes). I approved for the flushes which took about an hour longer. I finally left around 1130am. I just feel that to check on brakes and oil levels shouldn’t take almost 4 hrs to complete

Horrible experience with a 2014 nissan versa remanufactured transmission at this dealer.Read below please.purchased one of these REMANUFACTURED transmissions from this dealership on 05/05/2021 and followed the installation instructions to the T.1)had car towed to them for programming2)was told to purchase a range sensor and that would be the fix (It was not the problem)3) had the car twice close to 17 days total trying to troubleshoot4)finally determined it is a bad valve bodyA transmission that comes with a 1 year warranty and they are voiding the warranty not even a month into the ordeal.

My experience coming to this dealer was awesome! When I first arrived, I was set on a specific car and price. One of their representatives gave me a few offers until there was one I agreed on. I decided to think about it for a couple of days before making any decision. I decided to come back two days after with the intentions of getting the same offer I was promised how ver the same guy wasn’t there that day and the offer was too good to be true. Apparently there was a misunderstanding or the first Nissan Expert assisting me gave me false hope. So I was a little disappointed, but this is is where things get interesting. As I was leaving, the representative and his manager explained to me that the offer that was promised to me was for a lease not financed. After an hour of getting all the details explained to me thoroughly, I loved the idea of leasing the car. I got exactly what I wanted if not better. They helped me get the BIGGEST REBATE and Sergio was FANTASTIC! He knew everything about the car and was able to answer any questions I had. I definitely recommend Sergio for your Nissan needs! It may have started rocky with another representative but Sergio made sure I left completely satisfied and happy. Thank you Sergio!

I took my car to repair the transmission to gardena nissan, they told me that the nissan would cover it and they did not charge me. But the car failed and I took it again and they charged me for the first time saying they had made a mistake. And it failed again and they said it was a bad transmission cable and they want to charge me $ 2,600.00 more. Terrible service.

I flew in from the East Coast to LAX to pick up my 2014 Nissan Altima from a vehicle storage facility upon arrival I knew that i had to have my brakes replaced. I called Gardena Nissan and explained to the maintenance customer service representative (Stephanie) and explained to her that I had to drive to Northern California that day how soon could they have my car checked in for maintenance. She advised that my car would be checked in as early as 11:00 and my car could could be returned to me by 13:00; 13:30 at the latest. I got my vehicle there at 11:10 and my vehicle was not checked in for maintenance until 13:30 mind you I still have a six hour drive ahead of me. Hopefully in the future the sales representative will not make false promises because I would have called around to other places and gotten my car maintenanced sooner. It was very taxing waiting for my car to be done NOT at the time guaranteed to then drive six hours.

The vehicle service team is good, but I ended up waiting an hour and a half over the time my car was done. The young lady they have as an announcer is horrible. I dont even know how the employees understand her! Im sure theyre used to her, but normal people cannot understand a word that she says! She has this high pitch, nasally voice and she slurs her words together. Why would I conscientiously wait and extra hour and a half when I didnt have to? Because she cannot be understood. And she had the nerve to be defensive. Besides that, and besides the overpriced service charges, I trust the work that they do. I bought a previously owned car from them years ago.

HORRIBLE! I took my Nissan Pathfinder in for a factory recall (Air Bag). My truck had no issues. After picking up my truck, I notice the air bag light stayed lid, my windows and lock/unlock switch didnt work. I informed Chris Hinojosa before leaving the dealer. He stated bring it back tomorrow. I will not be here but some else can help you. I figured they are closing, I will just bring it back. I return the next day, waited over twenty minutes and know one help me. Not a single person came up to me to find out what I needed. I was frustrated and went to the first person walking by (Edwin). I informed him my situation and he stated I cant help you since I dint help you yesterday, Chris needs to be here. You can leave the vehicle and Chris and his team can check it tomorrow. I decided to leave it, I already had lost one work day coming back to the dealer. I contact Chris the next day; he was clueless to the status of my truck. He informed me he would look into it. I picked up my vehicle, they fix the Air Bag light. The technician connected the wire wrong. However my windows switch and unlock/lock switch doesnt work anymore. I was given a lame excuse that the motor are going bad. Prior to taking my truck to Gardena Nissan all electrical component were working properly. Never again will I go to Gardena Nissan for service.

They are so helpful in the service department and the sales associates are also willing to help even with questions about your own car. No hard sales pitches. I had an amazing experience here at Gardena Nissan. It was the best car buying in experience I have ever made!! The sales consultant that assisted me was Daisy alongside her manager Muhammed, they’re amazing at what they do! They listened to what I would like my future vehicle to have, they delivered just that! They never tried getting me in something I didn’t desire or couldn’t afford. AMAZING people! Thank you to Nicholas and Anthony for helping me get into another 370Z, after my previous one was totaled out. Great service and quick out the door purchase. Be straight up, tell them exactly what you want, how much you want it for, and it will be much easier during the negotiation process.There are no tricks with these guys. If you tell them you want a car for $xxxx amount of dollars, and they cant accommodate you, there are other dealerships in the area, or your asking for way too much of a discount. They are happy to make a deal, but make sure you now what your Fico score is, not that Credit Karma fake Vantage score. Do your research, know what you can truly afford, what interest rate you may qualify for, and if you can get your own financing lined up BEFORE you go to the dealership, things will go much more quickly.Also, if you are ill prepared, plan on being at the dealership for 5 to 8 hours negotiating over a price of the car. My time took about 3 hours, but another 2 hours was tacked on because they went to Irvine to get the car. Yes, if they do not have it on their lot, but you find something similar at a dealership further from you, they will go get it by doing a dealer swap.Also, this dealership, as well as others, will not respond to price quotes over the internet, so you cant shop the price. The dealership knows this, and will not give you this. But for myself, I knew what I wanted, but ended up getting something even better than what I was expecting when I walked through the doors.So, I really thank the guys there that helped me out. I was super bummed that my other Z was totaled, but feel much more complete that my replacement Z is even better than the last.

The man to see is Doug at the service station (last booth at the end)!!!!he is awesome! takes care of my truck to keep me going on these camping trips!no BS, straight to the point - just honest. any suggestion about services and he will explain in detail. he will tell you when it is recommended and if you can do without until the next visit.overall a great guy, great customer service, polite, courteous - the man needs to be promoted!

I went for an oil change and my check engine like that came on after my oil change was due. Stephanie the check-in service lady was so negative from the beginning of our interaction together! Long story short, I left feeling like the mechanics needed to meet a quota or something because of the way the check engine light was treated! The check engine light was off after the oil change like I knew it would, but your service people wanted to charge me $1000 for a brake smoother claiming it had something to do with the check engine light! Terrible experience! I don’t like feeling like my mechanic is only in it for the money.
