They couldnt find a bad IAC valve when the car was actually throwing a code for it, they also replaced a starter with the positive cable upside down causing it to short out on the oil filter, make a hole in the filter and all the oil leaked out on the road. The oil filter that they put on wasnt even the right oil filter for the vehicle and they also needlessly replaced the battery when it wasnt bad. Cant say Id recommend

They did a head gasket/timing belt/radiator job on my 2003 Subaru Forrester. The price was fantastic, compared to the dealer, and other shops. My car has run perfect since.Also, I brought in my mothers 2005 Kia Optima, it had the check engine light on. Dan did a quick diagnosis, and cleared the problem in about 5 minutes with no charge.This is an honest shop. I will definitely bring my vehicles back here again.

Dan is an honest business man and great mechanic. Ive been going here for years and wont go anywhere else. Its a little shop but they always do their best to squeeze you in. In a world of ever growing dishonesty and cheating people out of money this great place is no doubt an exception! Highly recommended!

I have been coming here for a couple years now with work vehicles and have been extremely happy both times. The guys recently worked on my wifes card and once again surpassed my expectation. Its very nice to have an affordable shop you can trust!

They are dishonest and dont like to be caught in their own lies. I wouldnt waste my money to be jerked about by these guys. Go pay a little more somewhere else for actual professionals.

Brought a 2006 Subaru Outback to this shop last summer to have a head gasket replaced. They didnt do it right the first time, so we brought it back again. Then, we brought it back a third time when it smoked. We never trusted that they did it right. Today, the head gasket completely failed while on I-84 in commuting traffic. Coolant rushed into the engine. The car is totaled. Its a 100% loss. Feeling pretty taken right now.

They replaced the timing belt in our mazda over a year ago and to our dismay the car broke down again the other day and it turned out to be the timing belt AGAIN! My husband and I were so upset and stressed because what kind of car mechanic would actually fix it? To our absolute delight, my husband called Dave & he immediately said bring it in and I will honor the warranty with zero cost to you. They had it brought over and finished within a day. I cannot recommend this place enough!! What fabulous customer service!

Love this shop! Dan has worked on several of my cars and always 100% satisfied. He has done work on a Subaru, Mazda, Chevy Monte Carlo and my Dodge Durango. If something is outside his scope, he will let you know where to take it instead.

Dan has always been very fairly priced and one of the few mechanics I trust anymore. Hes perfectly willing to admit if a particular type of car or problem is beyond his expertise, rather than pretending at your expense and potentially causing further problems. A perfect example, I had a transmission problem in a vehicle which I took to Dan Eur-Asian to diagnose and repair. After several hours spent diagnosing and replacing the transmission linkage, it was determined the problem was in the transmission itself. Dan referred me to a transmission shop, and didnt charge me a dime, even though I was perfectly willing to pay for some diagnostic time. Many shops would charge you at minimum a diagnostic charge and in some cases, the time spent replacing a part, if they had good reason to believe that would fix the problem. They even washed my car - this was one time I actually felt a little bad that I wasnt paying at least SOMETHING for their time.Ive dealt with several mechanics in Boise and my hometown and although I always try to give them the benefit of the doubt and get a second opinion before jumping to conclusions about whether they are trustworthy and competent, there are not many Id return to, and even fewer I have complete confidence in. In all the times I (or a close friend or family member) have visited Eur-Asian, I never once have had the feeling I was being sold anything I didnt need or over-charged for a job.Dont let the small, tucked-away shop or location dissuade you, Eur-Asian does good work and theyll treat you very fairly.
