My wife bought new tires here a few months ago and 1 of the tires was loosing air so I took it in without an appointment and they took a screw out of the tire and had me in and out in a little under an hour. The best part was that they didnt charge me anything!! Thanks Les Schwab!!

Not very pleased with their Estimated time for putting 7 new tires on rims and installing 6 on my 1ton Ford F350 Dually. Got there before my 12:30 appointment, asked about time told 11/2 hours. Got out of there @ 3:30, isnt that 3 hours???Good to have All New Tires, including spare. Going on a little drive on Friday

Very spacious lobby area was the first thing i noticed when i opened the door. The lady who tended to me once i came in, was very knowledgeable and after u saw her tend to a couple of customers after me, i got the impression she could run the whole shop by herself! Of course,.there needs to be other workers but she she sure did know her stuff! Great place to go to get your tires checked!

Great service. They greeted me at the door promptly and was very helpful in giving me a quote for my repairs. They set me up with new tires installed and everything at a fair price. They were happy to help even at a untimely visit 5:10pm when closing was 6pm. Verry satisfied.

Dropped my truck off to have tires swapped and was told it would be an hour and a half. Came to pick it up two hours later and they hadnt even touched it yet. They told me that it would be at least another half an hour before they could even start on it. I have been a loyal Les Schwab customer for 30 years but I will never go back!

Lady awnsering phones does not pay attention to incoming customers. i also seen 1 other employee who just sat in a chair as i waited in line. Not a hello or ill be right with you. Just cold unprofessionalism.

Long wait that was not their fault. They told me it would be 2 hours and they came in under that. Mike and Garrit took care of everything and showed that they care about customer service.

Had a screw removed from tire as well as rotation of tires. Returned to have a noise on the passenger side checked out that wasnt there before. Was told there would be a 45 minutes to 1 hour wait. 2 hours later ask how much longer told oh theres 6 vehicles ahead of me. Had other things to take care of so I went home and checked for the noise myself. Found that they had left a lug nut loose and it had came off. Went back to the store told them what I found. Low and behold they took my vehicle in at that moment. Not 5 minutes later was on my way. Had told them in the beginning the noise only started after they had worked on it. Signed Not a Happy Camper

Had an emergency flat repair situation. Took the tire here to have it fixed only because they were the closest place. We have never bought tires from Les Schwab. A young man named Matt checked me in an took the tire away. Gave me a 45 minute expected wait time. After about 35 minutes, Matt called me to the counter to process the paperwork and told me the flat had been fixed. I was expecting about a $25 charge (only because the tire was not from there). Matt said that the fee would be waived. I was completely surprised. Stuff like that just doesnt happen any more. Good job Les Schwab and thank you Matt. Would recommend and would certainly consider purchasing our next set of tires here.

They fixed our brakes under warranty - which was great. But I never leave there feeling great about my car or that they care about my business. Dog friendly.

I walked in for a tire rotation without an appointment and was pleased to find out an appointment was not needed. They gathered my info and a time estimate of how long for the rotation. When I returned, fresh coffee and popcorn was being made for customers. Wasnt to crazy about the seating but that was a short wait. To my surprise, rotation service is free! Ill definitely be back for my tire service.

Great customer service.Theyre nice enough to fix a flat tire or rotate your tires for free as long as you’re a previous customer.My only complaint is appointments. I had an appointment at 2pm 2 days prior. When i arrived on time for my appointment, I waited about 2 hrs and noticed my car out in the parking lot STILL NOT being worked on.When I asked the lady at the counter what had been going on, not even she knew. She was surprised they haven’t taken it in. Poor lady didnt know what to say she just came up with a standard excuse. (I work for customer service I know whats up).The issue? They took on a lot of walk-in issues and forgot about my appointment. This location definitely needs to work on this. This is unacceptable. My appointment was at 2pm and I now just got my vehicle back it’s 6:05pm. I wasted my whole day on the irresponsibility of a business.

This is what normal service is supposed to be. Course you pay for it. I was on the clock with my commercial dump truck, one tire due to 20 pounds ( supposed to be 100). John immediately put down what he was doing, picked up a valve stem call, and aired me up. Wouldnt charge me. 5 minutes in and out back to work. Ive gone here a lot, they do what others cant.

Brought in two tires to have replaced. The did the work in a few days (had to order a special size for a tractor tire), and when I went to pick them up, it was closing time. The employee stayed almost 15 minutes after closing time so that I could pick them up (I was running late). Very accommodating.

Stopped in to have the air in my tires checked, with cooler weather affecting tire pressure. Im disabled, and its difficult for me to get down and back up. As I just bought a new set of tires from another of their locations, I decided to go where service is always wonderful. I was less than enthused when the gentleman putting air in my tires showed more interest in his buddy that had just pulled up, and only barely glanced at my tire pressure. Friendly? Yes. Friendly with someone other than the customer they are assisting? Definitely. I have stopped here before with my previous tires, and other staff have been very courteous so they still deserve 4 Stars.This was ? Monday the 18th, I believe.

I noticed my tire almost flat so I took it in to Les Schwab in Galt. I left it there and went to work. I called a bit later and they said it was ready to pick up. They had fixed a flat from a nail. I expected to pay at least $15 for the service but the young lady at the desk said there was no charge. Really?? Free service now days is nonexistent. Thank you Les Schwab youre awesome.

The older white lady on the front counter she was rude she made me wait 5 minutes before even ask me if I need some help, after I told her what I needed to be done to my truck (two front tires) she didnt even give me any options and print the job for the mechanics,When I ask her what kind of tires they have available, she gave me a dirty look, and then I ask her to do the alignment and they dont have the equipment to do it because my truck is to high.The waiting time was 2hrs.

They are nice and polite and do a good job with the tires. Now I can go once a month to get the air checked for no charge.

My experience with them is that they were very caring and thorough Ill definitely go back

I thought the commercials were bs. After work today I hit something in the middle of the freeway. I pulled over to check my front end. My front tire was going flat with no spare. Google maps showed Les Schwab the closest. As I pulled up they were closing the work bays down. I asked if anything in Galt was open . Nash said nothing else in town and they were closed to . He said to pull in and they would help. They fixed my tire and had me on my way in 20 minutes. I was very impressed. They will have a customer for life. Thank you Nash and Darwin.

I would consider 1/5 star rating unfair for Les Schwab Galt, due to the fact that a 1/5 gives the false impression that they are capable of attaining anything above 1 star.Took my car in on Friday due to a tire light coming on, the clueless front counter lady who allowed me to stand there for 5 minutes without helping me was directed by who I am assuming is the assistant manager, explained that they really cant tell if its a flat unless they take it off so uh yeah just take it around and theyll check the pressure. My confidence was soaring at this point.The young man working the bay, who did his best out of everyone checked all of my tires said one was low and he filled it up. I asked him what to do next, he said if you have any problems just come back wellw take care of it. Im assuming that a low tire isnt considered a problem at Galt LS.I figured it was just low, went home as directed and parked the car till Monday morning when I awoke to a completely flat tire.My wife had to take an Uber to work, and I luckily had her truck at my disposal.Manager Mike Smith was even less helpful when I spoke to him today. He explained that they get too many requests, and usually wont check for a leak unless I request a ticket. And had the audacity to say you really need to accept some responsibility on your part for not requesting a ticket for a flat. When I expressed my disapproval of this answer, and requested his full name and managers name I was laughed at and told ok buddy before being hung up on.Ive honestly never seen such a complete lack of professionalism and customer service. Ive been a faithful. Les Schwab tire center customer for years and have always felt that the free flat fix has been a cornerstone of the lesson Schwab sales pitch.I olqn to never take my business to ANY Les Schwab tire center for Life due to this.Currently waiting to hear back from the corporate office in Bend Oregon to see if they can set things right.

Update: After writing my comments below, Les Schwab Corporate and the Galt Office were very open and willing to come alongside us and offer all they could to help us. They were not able to diagnose the fluttering noise but tried very hard to come up with possible solutions for us and were grateful. The front office staff apologized for the breakdown in communications. The office manager apologized on behalf of his staff and made himself personally available to discuss the issue - that was HUGE! Most of all, Im glad how Gerrit, our tech, extended information to us in a positive way. After taking a few suggestions from the Galt crew and having them replace the front brakes (calipers + rotors too at a FANTASTIC price, BTW), my car is doing better. Im taking it back to Les Schwab for the crew to reset my TPMS. So, Im upgrading to a 4-Star review from a 2-Star review, and recommending that Galt peeps, please go to Les Schwab for tires and brakes. Good people.************************************************Original Post with 2 Stars: A couple of weeks ago, my hubby took in my car for a rotation, no problem. We always received THE BEST outstanding customer service at the Galt Les Schwab. We recommend it to all our friends and neighbors. But...after my husband brought home the car after the rotation, we heard a flapping/fluttering noise that starts off soft at about 25 MPH and gets pretty loud at 40 MPH. We took the car back once; the crew removed the tires then remounted them. For a few minutes, no fluttering noise. But since then, problem returned. Took it back to the crew at Les Schwab in Galt last Friday, went for a drive with one of the crew, and of course, the car only made the fluttering noise very softly! Crew couldnt figure it out - said that some attachment brads were missing from the plastic mechanisms around the wheel wells. They tightened the ones still there, and speculated that the lack of attachment brads caused some of the underbody plastic panels to flutter while the cars in motion. On the drive home, the flapping/fluttering started up immediately. This is so frustrating.My car DID NOT make this noise prior to the initial rotation. I am so hoping to get this problem worked out because I like Les Schwab in Galt, a LOT. The folks are always accommodating and good to us. and Im hoping that we can get this problem worked out. If we get this all worked out and the crew can fix that flutter noise that started after the initial rotation, I would really be happy and eager to revise this review.

The worst Les Schwab ever!!! I called first to find out the wait time for a tire rotation (30-45 mins). I get there a few minutes later and its an hour wait, so I wait and wait...and wait. It took them 2 hours 15 minutes for a tire rotation. Then they charged me $26. Whats sad is that I need to buy new tires and I had asked for a quote but they took so long and made me late for an appointment... I declined the quote. I will be taking my business elsewhere! I love Galt and want to support the businesses in my town but with an experience like this it makes it quite difficult.

Great staff very helpful if you have a nail in your Tire or if you need any other recommendations for parts they may not be able to do everything that needs to get done youre on your car but they do a good job with fixing what needs to be done tires batteries brakes Etc and the staff is great I really recommend them to anybody they Rock

Several months ago I came here with 2 sets of wheels with tires on all 8 rims. I asked them to switch the tires between my stock rims to my new rims. They told me they dont do that. I went elsewhere and had that done. But I need an alignment so I dont wear out my fairly new tires. I went to leschwab around 4:45 or 5 and they close at 6. The place was empty with no customers. I waited at the desk for 10 to 15 minutes and finally MIKE came out.He asked me what I needed and I told him I need a wheel alignment, my tires are still fairly new. He said no problem! I asked if they had time today and he said it shouldnt be a problem. We started the process and we got my information and then I tell him its a 2005 Mercedes SLK 230. And he looks annoyed and said youll need to bring the car another day I was like theres nobody in here and you said you had time. And he said it again, bring it back another day. He looked pissed to have to work on my car because its a Mercedes.I will be taking my car to Meineke for my alignment. I have better customer service there. And the guy that I dealt with last time was honest and even checked my A/C and battery/alternator for free.I was only coming here for my alignment because it was convenient, but Im happy Im going to Meineke because Ive had people tell me that this place is sketchy when it comes to alignments (at least this Galt Les Schwab).These guys are lazy, rude, slow and dont know what theyre doing.
