I am so pleased to have my car serviced at Kunes Toyota. My car just needed an oil change. I was surprised that they did not push any other services. I arrived late from my appointment time but they found a spot for me. They treated me as if I was a favored customer. I hope everyone will consider the best care for your vehicle by letting Kunes crew work on your car.The previous appointment offered fine spot checks to rotate tires and replace some worn parts. I was so satisfied to take a trip to Florida, knowing that my car had bedn gone over with care. Thanks Kunes!9

The dealership was easy to access off a major highway, well laid out, clean, and friendly. I fell in love with my future vehicle at first sight. Thankfully, the window sticker didnt contain any ridiculous add-ons such as nitrogen-filled tires, VIN etching, etc. Salesperson Bill Morris was helpful at answering my questions regarding the vehicle I eventually purchased. Bill presented available rebates, financing, and care options for my vehicle, but never at any time pressured me into making any particular choice. The entire car-buying process went quickly. I honestly cant think of anything negative to say.

He told them I was there waiting. They never did come look for me in the waiting area. I had to go out there to ask if my vehicle was finished that they had called my husband. Just irritating…..

This is the correct place to bring your Toyota. They have wifi, a vending machine, and even a fireplace in the waiting room, and will shuttle you someplace in town and bring you back when your car is ready if you cant wait. Weve been going there since they opened.

Sent out a flier with game pieces that makes it appear that you have won a large sum of money. After reading the fine print you find out that your prize is determined in the dealership and is, statistically speaking, most-likley a cheap bluetooth speaker. Disappointingly deceptive. Dont make it look like I won $10k. Tell me clearly that there is a chance for me to win $10k if I bring in the flier.

It’s a scam!!! All a big scam!!! They run this lotto saying you won a certain prize. They of course tell you the odds for that prize as well. However when you show up on site they deny you your prize and claim your real prize is based on a random spin at the kiosk they have. Then they try and sell you a vehicle “on sale” which is actually grossly over MSRP!!! Did I mention the people who work there are rude.

My senior citizen neighbor purchased a used vehicle from this dealership last week. They promised her that the 2019 C-HR was equipped with SiriusXM radio. They lied. Sirius radio is not equipped until the 2020 models. Therefore this dealership broke the Consumer Rights Act of 2015 and she is entitled to a full refund within 30 days of the purchase.. When she informed the Sales Manager “Chris McCrea”, he said that Kunes Toyota will not take back this vehicle (even though the contract is void due to breaking the Consumer Rights Act of 2015) and that she should contact an attorney for restitution. I have contacted the Illinois Attorney General’s “Senior Citizens Consumer Fraud” hotline on this matter. I hope that the Kunes family reads this review and is as appalled as I am for the way that this dealership has treated this elderly woman who lives off of Social Security and only asked for a vehicle that has the options that she was originally promised.

I had a fair to poor service when trying to have the mechanic shop install electric braking module. They continue to deny that my device was not correct and didn’t even try to check how to install it. Very unhappy and had to cancel our vacation plans. I think your salesmen only wanted to get rid of me and the mechanic was too lazy to check if even the module plug would fit. Poor services.

I went to Kunes to buy a new car, their inventory was low so I bought a used car, only to have it not start 2 days later. I went to Kunes for help and waited for over two hours with no response. I went back again the next day and approached my salesman for help again and he told me very rudely that he had customers and was too busy to help me. I then approached the manager who said he could not talk to me and told me to leave. Each time I approached someone they ran into a room and shut the door. I asked someone else for contact information on where I could send a claim. They gave me some random written numbers on a post it note! Do not buy anything from them. I now have a vehicle that will not run. They will not make it right. They will not try to help you. Very unprofessional! I will not be buying my new car from them.

I was doing a search ( 500 ) mile for a 2019 Toyota Avalon XLE , silver with black leather interior.Galesburg Toyota had one on their lot under 10,000 miles and priced well below blue book.I sent them an email and received a response very quickly.Emily sent me a short video of the car and it looked very nice, along with all the pictures they had.I looked at some other Avalon cars from various locations but, this car was by Far the best vehicle, very low mileage and still under warranty.I called and talked to Dakota and decided to purchase the car.Next step was to get the car to me as I’m like 5 1/2 hours away.The best option was to have them bring the car up to MN. for a fair price which they did the very same week.End result is, This dealership is very easy to deal with and I have the car with low mileage and priced very fair !!I would highly recommend this dealership to everyone !!ThanksPerry Scott

Absolutely phenomenal. They were professional and courteous. Worked with me on my budget. Let me test drive it overnight and I fell in love. Made sure to detail clean it and fill it up before letting me leave with it. Jarvis is THE MAN! Today I went to lease a RAV4. It took a bit longer than usual (with the finance, NOT the staff), it being labor day, but while I was waiting, everyone was wonderful. Jarvis even brought me lunch! Im new to Illinois and I have to say that this was a great experience.As I said, there was a delay at corporate (surprise, surprise) and the GM actually came in to get things rolling. Great service, nice people and good senses of humor. I got a very good trade in value....well, you get it. Cant say enough nice things.Ill be back in 3 years to lease again. Kurt Ossmann and his team are amazing! Last Saturday, our dog passed away unexpectedly. My family and I drove her from Peoria where I live to Galesburg to be cremated at Thomas Pet Crematory. Once we exited the interstate, the low oil light came on in the Tacoma. We had the oil changed at O’Brien Toyota the day before, so that made no sense. We finished our business at the Funeral Home and stopped by the dealership. Since it was Saturday, the service department had closed at noon, and it was now 2:30. We went inside the dealership, and Kurt and his team jumped into action. They diagnosed the problem, called in a service tech who was home but willing to come back in, found a replacement part, fixed everything, and had us back on our way home by 4:00. On the worst day of our life, Galesburg Toyota was there for us, and I can’t thank them enough. Buy a car from this team - they walk the walk!!

General Manager Kurt Ossmann and his team are not only consummate professionals, they care about the customer. On Saturday, November 14, I was unexpectedly in Galesburg. My engine oil warning light came on in my Tacoma. I was close so I stopped in at Galesburg Toyota. I had lost all the oil in my engine. Kurt and his team immediately got to work on my problem. The service department had closed so Kurt called a service tech who agreed to come in. The team diagnosed the problem, acquired the part needed and got me back on the road. They are really top drawer! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!! If you have need for a vehicle or service you cant go wrong with Kurt and his amazing team.

I made an appointment at the Galesburg Toyota service department for a problem with the hatchback on our 2019 Toyota Sequoia. I have to travel 40 miles to get to our appointment. I was expecting an inspection to pinpoint the problem and then have to return the following week for repairs. Teresa, the service manager, knows this and when I went to my appointment, she had already ordered the parts that normally cause a problem. When I got my vehicle back, and in record time of approximately 20 minutes, the car was repaired and no second visit required! She was so efficient and her effort was greatly appreciated! I called this dealership the morning of the Oct 22 and requested an oil change and 100,000 mile service. I dont know who I talked to but she gave me an appointment that afternoon at 4:00 pm. I questioned about how long the services would take and she said 45 minutes. I thought that pretty fast but I didnt know how long a 100,000 mile services normally takes.When I arrived for my appointment I told the unidentified woman behind the counter I was there for an oil change and 100,000 mile service. She printed out the necessary forms and had me sign them. I went to the waiting room and waited. After about 45 minutes another unidentified young woman approached me and started giving me the status report on my vehicle.When she finished I asked her what happened to my 100,000 mile service I had requested? She just stood there not comprehending what I had just said. So I explained that I had called this morning and asked the scheduler for an oil change and 100,000 mile service. The young woman excused herself to go learn who had taken the service call. She returned and startedgoing through the same previously presented status report again on my vehicle. So I asked again what happened to my 100,000 mile service I had requested? I wanted the 100,000 mile service I had requested. She tried to explain she couldnt do it, all of the technicians are leaving for the day. I told her that is not my problem, I had requested a 100,000 mileservice and the dealership had failed to comply. I told her was not paying for anything until I have been given what I had requested. The young woman said she couldnt do it we will have to schedule it for another time. Fine, lets go schedule it I said. We walked out to the service counter then she scurried off with a hand full of papers. Five minutes or sogo by I am watching other people leaving the building while I am standing there by myself. The next thing I know I am approached by the unidentified young woman and Theresa Fones. Finally, somebody I could identify. Theresa explained that my vehicle really wasnt due for its 100,000 mile checkup since we had performed various other services at an earlier dates.Okay, I was only asking for what I thought the owners service manual said I should be doing to keep my vehicle in good shape. Theresa was very kind and offered a discount on my next service appointment.I paid for the oil change but left that dealership with the realization that I dont know this dealership anymore. And it doesnt care all that much for my continued business.I applaud Theresa Fones for her help. As to the other three unidentified women I had to deal with, I am not interested in dealing with any of them ever again. This dealership has a problem. Is it so difficult for an individual to wear a name tag. Its probably better that I cant identify them again anyway.This just make me feel better about the fact that I no longer take my 2006 Camry, that I bought from this dealership through Tim Ellison, for service any longer.The only reason you received one star is this incident would not be posted otherwise.
