Due to the positive online reviews, I visited Jewelry Exchange of Maryland to repair my 18k rose gold Italian diamond tennis bracelet. The place is neat and lovely and the manager and staff are friendly and professional. The repair service was quick and only took few days to deliver the service. I was very pleased and impressed when I received my bracelet as it has been repaired and restored beautifully like a new brand piece. I brought in my sterling silver engagement ring to be resized. They explained the pricing and the longevity of silver with me and we discussed my options. They called a few days later to let me know the price of the resizing and then only two days later it was all done and ready to be picked up. I am very impressed with the speed and pricing here. :)I only docked a star because my ring had an added patina on it when I brought it in and when I picked it up, the patina was gone and the ring was a shiny silver instead. This is not a problem in itself because I was actually thinking that the patina was going to slowly come off on its own anyway, but I was never told that they would be removing it. In fact, when the jeweler asked about it, I said that I wanted to keep it. Its possible that something happened while resizing it, or maybe they did not remember, but I wish that they would have asked.However, the ring is truly beautiful and fits like a charm so, on the whole, I am quite pleased and will return if I need any other jewelry assistance in the future.

The owner is genuine and explains everything. The truth about selling your jewelry is that you will never make as much as you want or that you can selling it outright if you can find a buyer. The jewelry exchange definitely gave me more money than what I was quoted on one of those internet websites for the same pieces. I didnt want the hassle of trying to sell on e-bay or Craigs list so I did my research and thought I would try them out. So glad I did.They will also work with you if you want to trade your jewelry in on something they sell in the store. I drove an hour and 20 minutes to get there in traffic and would definitely do that again. Worth the drive!

The Gaithersberg jewellery exchange started out for me as a place to sell jewelry but quickly became my GO TO jewelry store. Early on, I was a name brand type of jewelry shopper.
