After gaining way too weight as an OTR truck driver, I came to Jose to help me get back into shape. Over the past two months, Jose has helped me to recognize and overcome my limitations. Through unique exercises that focused on flexibility, balance, and core strength I have already lost 24lbs. Jose approaches each client individually, and customizes a program to suit his/her goals. He is very positive, encouraging, and knowledgeable. Jose has given me the foundation I need to continue with my own at-home regimen. I would recommend him to anyone that wants to see results.

If you are looking for a trainer who is extremely knowledgeable and who is committed and invested in helping you reach your fitness goals, then I highly recommend Jose Barcenas. Ive been working with Jose for 7 months now and from the beginning, he has exceeded my expectations in every way. In addition to being very friendly and professional, he is also an outstanding educator, communicator, encourager, and motivator. There have been periods of time, due to the pandemic, when we could not meet in person. During these times, Jose continued to show his commitment and support by customizing home workouts, doing zoom session workouts, and staying in close communication with me, all of which helped me stay focused and motivated during a very difficult time. Thanks to Jose, Ive gotten to a level of fitness that I never would have gotten to on my own. Training with Jose has been life changing and one of the best things I have ever done for myself!

I have been working with Jose for several months now. He designs training sessions that address my limitations while helping me accomplish my overall fitness goal of becoming stronger. Joses knowledge of how the body works, attention to detail, and approach to working with his non athlete clientele results in productive sessions for those of us who are willing to put in the work but need direction to keep making progress toward our fitness goals.

I have worked with Jose for 6 months. He has been a wonderful trainer for me. He works with me at my level, corrects my form, provides modifications to make sure I do not hurt myself, and challenges me to work harder. He provides workouts for me to do by myself with links to videos! For someone so young, he is very knowledgeable and full of ideas to help me build strength.

This is a friendly and welcoming but no-nonsense place where the experts evaluate your fitness problems and goals and devise a carefully customized plan. Then comes the execution, where the trainers really shine. When you slip, they help you back on track. Nothing is allowed to derail the program. I would not take anything for the fitness experience I have had at Max Results Training. Too bad only five stars are available!

I have been a client of Max Results Training for about a year now and am truly impressed with the difference this experience has made in my life. I am much healthier than I was when I started – stronger, slimmer, and with much more energy. Jim and Marian are not only experienced and knowledgeable trainers but are incredibly caring friends.I am a surgeon and, at times, have a very demanding work life. I honestly can’t imagine how I would be able to deal with some of the long hours and stress without being in my best shape. As a physician, I recognize and appreciate the effort that Jim and Marian put into creating a customized, multifaceted approach to each client including great workouts and a healthy diet. It is impossible to express in words how thankful I am to Jim and his team for giving me back my life. I thought my fittest days were behind me but Jim taught me about exercise and nutrition and at 48 years old, I am in the best shape of my life!In 6 months, I lost 50lbs the healthy way. If you want professional results in a fun and friendly atmosphere, this is the place for you. Im a 53 year old mom who was recovering from back surgery 1 year ago. I was looking for training to get strong to avoid any future injuries and surgeries. I found Jim and Marian Harris at Max Results. They listened to my concerns, provided one on one instruction training me in proper form and nutrition. I joined the 45 minute Boot Camp and one year later, I am strong and 35 lbs leaner with energy that I havent had in years.

Ive always trained by myself and was hesitant to participate in group training. Unsatisfied with my results, I agreed to try Pulse45 HIIT classes. I was surprised at how motivating group training can be, and the change in my fitness and conditioning was immediate! I highly recommend Pulse45, and especially instructors Marian Harris and Jose Barcenas. Their ability to create a diverse, as well as extremely effective class, is enjoyable and challenging at the same time!

Max Results Training (5 stars plus)....is the most experienced and committed trainers anyone could ask for. They accept all fitness levels, but at the same time are tough but enjoyable to help you achieve a healthy lifestyle. This facility is top-notch. Jim & Marian Harris are professional in every area. Jim has helped me achieve and maintain my goals that I never thought would ever be possible. I needed a trainer who would understand my specific needs. I have MS (Multiple Sclerosis) and always struggled with diet and exercise. He clearly puts a lot of time into developing sessions full of variety, and makes it fun at the same time. He has a thorough understanding how the body works so that each workout and technique are done correctly to avoid any injuries. Max Results Training treats not only myself, but all of his clients equally. In addition to personal training with this great facility, I also attend a small group training for women twice a week, and weekly boot camps. Jim and Marian are both extremely reliable and punctual, and always ready to start right on time. They are very helpful, extremely accommodating and lets not forget how encouraging and motivating they are. I leave each session feeling stronger, and feeling pumped. He holds me accountable in every area, every day, and not just during our training sessions. In addition to the personal trainer he is , Jim is a certified nutritionist and has given me the tools I need to grow and be successful with my food plan and be healthy. Simply put, I have achieved so many goals, and it is all possible with the expertise of Jim and Marian Harris with Max Results Training! You arent given a good life or a bad life.
