My buddy and I have been on a motorcycle adventure around the U.S for a couple of months. One of our key factors of traveling is to stay fit and healthy. Anytime Fitness is the perfect place for that. Not only do they have the most gyms around the U.S but they also have the nicest gyms. Our next stop was this one in Gainesville. Which was especially nice and clean. We love that we can also use their showers after a hard workout and this one in Gainesville was comfortable. Not to mention before leaving we met the owner, Lisa, I believe. She was very welcoming and kind. We very much respect her gym here and how shes running it! Thank you so much for the warm welcome and the kind words. Excellent gym you have here in Gainesville!! Highly recommend!

Lots of machines, dont like the toggle on and off for the weights. One was stuck and it took a bit to unstick. Also only 2 incline benches but the space was small as well. All in all not the worst one Ive been to, not the best, solid middle of the road gym - as always appreciate the 24hr access as my schedule is never my own

Here in Gainesville for a short period. The owner of the gym was not enthusiastic about helping with a short membership. Then when asked about the 7 day free trial, he said that because I was not a resident of Florida then I would not qualify. Had to repeat myself several times. The. He stated “oh I am so sorry to annoy you”. Not professional at all and as a gym owner, he should excited about people and their fitness. Not merely just to make a dollar.

First time back to the gym in many months due to covid. Not too many people were there, so that was good. They provide sanitizing spray and wipes, also good. Convenient place to get to from my house, also good. Nice neighborhood workout place and staff is very friendly and willing to assist.

I’ve been coming to Anytime Fitness for over a year now. Since the very first day I walked through the door (it being my first time ever stepping foot inside a gym) I felt welcomed and comfortable. The staff are all friendly, kind, and helpful. The gym is always clean and the staff are constantly sanitizing equipment.

In general, not a bad gym! I was visiting from out of town and was able to get a 24 hour pass over a 7 day period. I only used it for 2 days but I didnt mind paying! The staff was very nice and even though I was only there for two days you could tell they had a lot of regulars. I was with Anytime Fitness for 5 years but switched to support my friends local gym. The only thing I didnt love about this location was how small it was because it felt very crowded with all the machines being so close. I also thought a lot of their dumbbells and leg machines were very outdated. If they ever updated their equipment it would be even better. Overall I was able to get a good workout in and enjoy the atmosphere.

I joined a 6 week challenge to better myself and have had great experiences with all the staff at this location. I highly recommend that anyone wanting to have great coaches or a great gym to utilize come and join this location and get the use of anytime fitness locations nationwide.

My husband and I signed up prior to covid19 being a thing. We signed up separately, due to it being really hard to do it together.I wish Id have bitten the bullet and purchased new gym equipment for the house.My husband has a medical condition that leaves his immune system weak, so getting covid would do a number on him. This means that gyms are out. We were told that we might be able to get out of the 2 year contract with a doctors note, and they would, as a courtesy, freeze our accounts until then. Nice! Totally great, exactly what I was expecting.I was not expecting to be charged for things I didnt ask for/purchase while my account was in frozen status. (Tried to follow up with them about it, still havent heard back.)That isnt as bad as not being allowed to leave because the doctors note, provided by my husbands doctor, was not legitimate enough to warrant cancelation, as they are approved on a case by case basis, and our case just wasnt important enough.We havent used the facility due to concerns (they dont enforce masks, nor sanitizing equipment, instead relying on a system akin to passive aggressive post-it notes).Were stuck riding it out for now until we can be free of this.If youre able bodied and straight, this place might treat you with respect and dignity, and it might even be worth your money.

Ive been a member for a couple years. This gym has improved tremendously since the new owners took over. I like to see the regular equipment upgrades and constant efforts to improve. It is a vlean and pleasant place for seniors to keep fit as well as having plenty of equipment to challenge body builders. They have a very welcoming staff, and knowledgeable trainers. Jill in particular is helping me recover from a medical event and I am making great progress.

I used to be in the gym every morning at GH&F. Unfortunately I moved, and AF is the only practical option. The two cost the same per month, and when I look at it that way there is no comparison. AF is a bare-bones operation with older equipment and tight space. It is almost adequate, and when I joined I did have some sticker shock. Now Im a year in and off contract, and seriously am weighing options, including putting a bare-bones operation in my home. Id use it more often. There is nothing inherently wrong with AF, other than I think that for the price it is a bit scant. But we pay for convenience, and it is the only gym on the SW side of town, so they have me until theres something better. I do like that AF memberships allow me into gyms worldwide. I travel a lot and have used AF in Australia, Belgium and the UK.

Pretty good place to workout just wish there was more cardio equipment. But it’s the closest place to my home to workout and it’s never really busy anytime I go so that’s great for me. It’s sufficient for what I need. Would like the owner to pump up the music a bit more especially the days my ear phones are not charged. Overall good place to workout. And the staff is super friendly all the time.

I had been a member there prior to the new management so I figured Id try it again. Im very pleased with the changes Lisa is doing to bring this place back up and running. Fixing and or replacing equipment as needed. The staff is wonderful especially Amy! She has taken me under her wing to get me active, educated, accountable and motivated again after being inactive for way to long. I highly recommend this fitness center with 5 stars!

I have been to a lot of gyms but never one thats impressed me as much as this one. The staff is amazing they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and theyre very helpful and knowledgeable. Anytime Fitness offers lots of extracurricular programs and things that they do to show appreciation and give people a chance to have fun while also getting fit. They offer weekend boot camps and zombie runs and customer appreciation days and offer lots of classes. I would recommend this gym to anybody. And they have amazing equipment.

Awesome place. The staff/management is awesome. There’s plenty of dead time where you can have the gym to yourself in the middle of the day which is awesome. Showers etc, and all the other members are nice as well. Fully recommend.

This gym is not the biggest but gets five stars for the friendly staff and easy access. I’m a night owl so the convenience of being able to go any time is great! I don’t ever have a problem getting to the equipment I need.

Ive been going to this gym for 5 years and absolutely love it. The owner Lisa makes you feel like a family and the staff are always encouraging. There group classes are pretty cool I personally love the Saturday crossift style class the most. Overall the gym has great equipment and the personal training is the best Ive seen in town.

Don’t do your homework in the parking lot before working out, you’ll get the cops called on you. Happened to me around 7:00pm 29 January 2020. As a long time Anytime Fitnesses member and as an active member at this specific location, not really appreciated. Thanks to the tall 6ft 4inches slim Puerto Rican trainer worker guy, labeling my big red crew cap truck as suspicious.

Its the perfect gym. All the space and equipment that one could need. Compact (cozy) enough to feel like home. Free of the pretense and posturing and suffocating corporate decor that ruin most brand name clubs. Staff that care more about your comfort and well-being than the dollars you might spend on some extra perk (like training). No pressure to talk to anyone or be anything other than precisely what you are. Just quiet smiles and a feeling of belonging. Its my sanctuary.

This gym has went down the drain since new manager took over. If you looking for a beginner friendly place or personal training sessions do not go here. He fired the best trainer in town and there are no more classes worth the money or time you would spend there. Please look somewhere else I did.

This gym encompasses every quality I look for in a gym. A solid team of personal trainers to aid you in whatever goals you wish to achieve along with machinery to accommodate almost any exercise. From CrossFit training to just a relaxing yoga session, Anytime fitness seems to be the number one choice for anyone trying to reach their fitness goals.

Bad machines, asked to take out my wife since she never went, still waiting after 8 months and nothing, They renew my contract for another year automatic and i requested not to have it renew. George simply refused to acknowledge any of my complaints and i contact main office to cancel my membership.I pay over $79 a month for 3 no staff around, only my friend Alex who helps there and he knows for months ( at least 11 ) about always some machine that i need to use and never repaired, i have videos and pictures to proof how bat it is.

This facility has 24/7/365 access, which during the holidays is ideal as I couldn’t find any other gym open. Great staff and clean. Has everything I need to complete my workouts.

I am so glad i joined Anytime Fitness. This is actually a really nice place and has all the amenities I need and wanted. Perfect location, staff is super friendly and helpful, and I never have to wait for equipment. I definitely suggest checking this place out if you are thinking about getting back in shape.

Available 24 hrs. Small gym, not as clean as Id like, but not disgusting 😋. One unisex bathroom. Small changing area. The open 24hrs puts it over the top for me.

Place is a scam. Went in there for a 7 day pass and possibly a month to month membership. The guy doing the sales tried to do anything and everything to get me to sign up for a year and to get my company to do the same for my employees. Thank goodness I didn’t. So after being pitched I could do the free 7 days and pay $25 for key fob. I got scammed for $100 and only went one time. After I called up...they almost laughed at me like I had put myself in this position while I was led down this path. Highly recommend you look else where. It’s all about scamming you at this gym!

Anytime Fitness Gainesvilles staff is exceptional. The Owner, Lisa, truly cares about her clients. The training staff, especially Terron, are knowledgeable and always willing to help you with machines, ideas for exercises to reach your goals, and motivation. The facility has that family small town feel while fully stocked with all the machines, free weights, cardio equipment and fun extras like medicine balls, kettle bells, stretchy bands, mats, jump boxes, steps, etc. I am so glad I found this gem of a gym.

Owner was very nice and has since I originally wrote this addressed all my concerns that were in this review.Extremely convenient although I wish there was at least one more franchise location in Gainesville. Three issues 1. The cleaning rags look like they never get washed. 2. In the dead of summer the AC seems to struggle to keep the inside cool enough. And 3. One of the trainers here refuse to share equipment and was territorial with the gym space which would be fine but the gym is already small as it is. The guy kick my girlfriend out of the yoga area and kick her off machines which is ridiculous. When confronted he said this is for my paying client.

I have been a member since Jan. 2018 & consider ATF best gym in town. It is not a hugh gym, but has a great selection of equipment. The gym is well maintained. It has great professionalism & excellent TLC by the terrific staff of certifed trainers and office staff. All are always ready, willing and available to assist you on your training, nutrition, etc. One of my favorite things with ATF is that they are open 24/7 with great security inside and out. This way I have no excuse to hit the gym because I adapt schedule to my convenience.

Hidden fees that are ridiculously high. Some even double the cost of the month. Dont bother contacting me about it , in this review.Im solely interested in making the customer aware of the dangers in year contracts. The late fees are also more than the cost of the month. No exception to cancel, unless you move outside of 25 miles.God forbid you get into a life changing catastrophic event, because even if youre athiest, the God that doesnt exist will be more likely to forgive your late payment, or need to cancel.

Been lifting for 10 plus years and just moved to Florida second gym decided to try out and it has everything you need. Definitely 5 star stadium here.

George is a great owner. He hooks me up when I come to Gainesville from time to time. Good rates, 24 hour access, clean and all the equipment works.

If you love a gym you pay premier dollar for that blasts horrible music that your Air Pods can’t drown out, lacks any type of calf machine, and plays infomercials and QVC on their TV without the option to change this gym is for you.

I would give zero stars, but that option is not available here. Dirty, bad equiptment, rarely any staff available, poor communication between staff, and refusal to cancel membership when I complained about the owners attitude. I was given their financial company as a corporate contact number. The ABC Financial didnt have any information on my membership because it wasnt entered into their system. Owner simply refused to acknowledge any of my complaints and to cancel my membership. The information I was given states that any cancelation will be charged 3 months as a penalty, not the fulkl year as the owner, George, stated.

Good environment, adequate equipments

They keep making changes to this gym. They dont really have the user in mind. They are down to two treadmills in the entire gym and there is no place to put your keys or a water bottle. They also keep charging random deductions for improvements when there are no improvements being made so I think that is shady.
