Terrible haircut from a bitter guy, who doesnt want to live in Gainsvile anymore. Im going somewhere else to have them fix it. (If they can) If your under 40 dont go here. Hes upset with the city and wants to leave but cant, so anyone young enough to enjoy the night life here irritates him. He cuts your hair as fast as he can to get you out of his shop. (Its a small room in the back of his house. Dont let the pictures fool you. Look at the location)

I have been getting my hair cut by Jeremy for 5 years. I always get exactly what I want. Now I take my son too and we take advantage of the father/son special price. The shop is clean and inviting and the traditional tattoo parlor motif is prettycool. Do yourself a favor and get a Top Notch Haircut!

To be honest, the owner was not welcoming at all. Basically gave me one-word answers to everything. I felt uncomfortable during the whole thing. Having said that, the haircut he gave me was pretty good. I asked for a man bun, he looked at one picture and got the look almost perfect.All in all, I dont think Ill be getting another haircut here.

My husband went to get a haircut and told me he did not want to go back. It took a lot of coaxing to find out why. Apparently during his whole appointment the barber spent it ranting and raving about politics. He wouldnt share a lot of details because he didnt want to give credence to the negativity the barber shared. My husband is born and raised in NYC so he has a pretty tough skin. However he just wants to relax when getting a haircut not hear someones vitriol about liberals. That aside I dont feel the barber did a very good job with his beard and his haircut was okay. Definitely wont be coming again.

There are several reasons for the 5 star review but, being able to schedule my appointments online helps when you are a father of four and run your own business. His prices are fair and his hair/beard cuts are the best. I wouldnt go anywhere else

Went into Jeremys hands to clean up for a friends wedding. To start the crummy day I was late to my appointment due to terrible traffic by the oaks mall (as per usual). By the time me and my friend got there. He was what seemed pretty pissed. He simply stated My time is money. Also Im used to barbers in the past actually chatting small talk to their clients, but I could tell he was all business. I mean the tension was so thick I could slice it.If it wasnt for the fact that the man is an ABSOLUTE god at cutting mens hair I would have given a worse review. Ill still go back but only praying its a much more enjoyable experience.

Okay...let me explain it this way - I got my hair cut the other day by Jeremy, and for the first time in 13 years, when I came home my wife complimented my haircut and thought it looked great. The end.

The cut itself was just okay. The whole experience was the worst haircut Ive ever had.First of all, Im not wild about making reservations for a 20 minute haircut, but I had heard good things about this place so I figured Id give it a shot. I was genuinely excited.From the onset, Jeremy was short with me. I honestly cannot imagine why, I have never had this happen when getting my haircut. Yet, he seemed to dislike me. (Note: I was perfectly on time for my appointment.) His eyes seemed to radiate contempt when he looked at me.After successfully making me feel uncomfortable before I even sat down in the chair, Jeremy asked me what I wanted. I brought a picture along, because Ive found that that works the best. (Ive brought this photo in to two other barbers, they took it with no complaint and gave me a fantastic cut.)Jeremy (smirking) then says... ... do you *really* want that haircut? and said it looked like it was from the 90s or something. To which I replied, well, if you think so, youre the expert on this, so what do you recommend?uh i dunno. So, if memory serves, I think he just agreed to do the haircut I had brought in and make it look good. So we proceed with the haircut and he continues to make things uncomfortable. His idea of a good conversation seems to be just trashing random things, you know, like a high schoolers sense of humor. Anything I would say, he would some how find to be contrarian. Again, I think he probably was just giving himself a laugh, but given the awkwardness stinking up the room, it just felt unprofessional.Anyway, when the haircut was finished, it was alright. It was middle of the road, he kinda gave me what I wanted, and partly just did whatever he wanted to do. I think I got it fixed up by someone else a few weeks after the fact, but its been a couple months now so Im not entirely sure.Heres my final take: if you come here, and Jeremy likes you, this could be a fantastic place. But youre rolling the dice when you walk through the door to that little add-on to his house. If something about you offends his middle-aged punk wannabe attitude, youre in for a bad time.Oh yeah, and $16 was a bit pricey for my tastes.(I posted this on Yelp but Im putting it here as well.)

We live in Jacksonville (we moved away from Gainesville 2 years ago) and have been unable to find ANYONE that can do my husband and sons haircuts correctly, so we make the drive all the way from Jax, to get their haircuts....We love Jeremy! He always makes sure his clients are happy with their haircuts. Our son is autistic and has severe sensory issues and Jeremy is so patient with him... If you have a kiddo that has sensory issues, Jeremy is great. We love him.Hes worth the 3 hour round trip. :)
