Eh good for an oil change & check-up, but dont go here for any major problems. They tried selling me 4 new shocks, when the real problem with my car was 1 faulty brake. OoFVery nice & kind staff tho!

Tl;dr I got sold a battery and got sent home.I came in looking for a diagnostic, stating that I’m experiencing a loss of power/acceleration and my gas mileage has been horrid. However, no check engine light has come on.I get a phone call saying a need a new battery because my other battery “died when trying to do the live data scan” . I’m suspicious but my battery is old so I said go ahead to buying a new one and having it installed.They call me later saying my car is ready for pick up, I arrive and the only problem was the battery! Great! Except for the part where they lied and they didn’t fix anything. Car suffers from same issues. Horrible gas mileage and heavily reduced acceleration.I’m not sure if they couldn’t find it and just wanted to take my money some how, or they misread what I was saying. Either way I’m out 200 bucks and I’m highly irritated.I was sold a battery and sent home, I will not be returning.

I had a few issues, the most important being the car not starting. After having the battery tested at a local auto parts store, they said my battery and alternator were fine. My AC was not cooling and on the way there my driver side windshield wiper came off track and was flapping in my window, seeing as it was 90 degrees and my AC wasnt working. The technician took me into the shop and showed me that sulfur was seeping out of my battery. This, I needed a new one. He showed me that my cooling system was overcharged the last time it was done. He also told me the wiper arm fix would cost me 1/2 hour labor and that it was a pretty simple fix that I could do myself. Mark, the owner, was great. His interaction with each and every customer was spot on hospitality. I will definitely return here.

I took my 2000 jeep cherokee here to diagnose my AC system and to see why it melted its ac compressor clutch. The tech that worked on my Jeep brandon I think and he did great work!

Mark the owner at Meineke literally saved my life. Id leave out the specifics, but my vehicle was dangerous to drive, and Mark went waaaaaaaaaaaay, and I could keep going, way above and beyond to get me taken care of. Every time Ive come here him and the staff have been so helpful and nice. I cant say enough about this location. Lifetime customer now.

I highly recommend Mark and his team at Meineke of Gainesville. They completed several overdue repairs on my SUV and have gained my trust and respect. They performed the work at a fair price and I was able to fix everything with the feeling of knowing it was done right and efficiently. James and Mark communicated with me upon arrival with my parts ready and waiting and now it runs like a champ. Mark has a lifetime customer in me.

Honest service. Made online appointment for 11 a.m., the service on my truck didnt start until almost noon. Didnt mind the extra wait in their smallish waiting area with people trying to distance themselves, since they assured me I dont need the service I had originally requested.

Had my brakes and battery taken care of my first visit and then had my headlamps replaced my second. JB was great and the staff is friendly. Will be coming here again for future issues.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. I scheduled service to have my compressor changed, they called me the next day saying it was in need of a compressor. Duh thats what I scheduled an app. for. my app was at 8am. I didnt get my car till 5:36pm after they closed. A few miles after picking up my car my serpentine belt broke. I just replaced this 5k miles ago. against my wishes my daughter went there for a free check up and they charged her 98 dollars because they just went ahead and filled it up with Freon. she didnt want service completed yet, only wanted to know what the issue was. They proceeded to make her wait till they reclaimed the Freon they put in there. they are crooks. I will be reporting this to BBB as well.

I stopped in the other morning to have a used BMW X5 looked at that I had just purchased. The staff is very polite, friendly, they welcomed my service dog with open arms. After the inspection I was informed of all issues the vehicle had with pressure to make the repairs there. I highly recommend this location.

We are so thankful for the staff at this location. We shopped around for many places to install a dual exhaust and this shop & specifically James came highly recommended. They were able to get an appointment scheduled quickly and the work turned out beautiful and sounds amazing! I would highly recommend everyone else to this location!

I had my RV spare tire replaced by them. I checked several places in my area but none in stock. Mark, the owner, was able to get the tire the next day and at a reasonable price. Even better, he dropped it off at my house on his way home. I couldnt ask for better service! Personable, honest and great prices.

Took my vehicle for a simple oil change and air/cabin filter change. Waited over 2 hours, only to find out the cabin filter was placed incorrectly and they didnt even properly screw the piece back on. I replaced it myself. Couldnt get a refund because I didnt have the credit card I used, so I just asked for a new filter. Guy said 10-15mins, was there for another hour just to be told they dont carry the parts. Worst place ever. Do not recommend at all.

Amazing experience. My husband and two sons were headed from Florida to NC when my van started to make an unnerving sound and all my warning lights came on. The proximity to where I was when this started and the great reviews led me to Meineke of Gainesville. I called ahead and spoke with Mark who said come on by and we will take a look. We were immediately welcomed upon checked in and my van was brought back shortly after. It turned to be a drive belt that was shredded and they quickly ordered the part and in no time we were back on the road. We were so nervous it could have been something more serious or that we might be taken advantage of coming from out of state and yet it was quite the opposite. They inspected the rest of my van to make there were no other issues so we could make it to NC and back home again and let us know our vehicle was in great shape for the rest of our trip. It turned out Mark was originally from Florida as well and we chatted about areas off the state we were both familiar with and that really passed the time and made us feel even more welcome.

These Folks took my Car in straight away afterI explained my neighbor and I were on the wayto take her to her Doctor when my Car stalled out and took a lot of time checking things out. They also provided a ride for my neighbor so she wouldn’t miss her Radiation Treatment she needed to recover from having Cancer.Truly a great experience!

This Meineke is awesome. They do a great job of taking care of whatever issues I have had and are usually pretty quick about it. Both my in-laws and myself have asked if certain things should be done on our cars and they are very straightforward and don’t try to upsell you ever. Mark is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and helpful.

HORRIBLE. We had to take car back 5 times because it was not fixed right. do not use this place!!! Check engine came on they said it was thermostat, they fixed that, the next day the check engine light came on again, they said it was cad converters. They replaced those, and brought it home and it started running terrible, leaking fluids. took it back again, they supposedly fixed it and we left and then the driver light started blinking and we had to take it back again. I pray they did not damage anything else. They are complete idiots!!!

New management is amazing.They treat you like family.It is a different experience, management takes the time to explain what is necessary and help you take good decisions.

I came in to get a system flush which I don’t believe they did cause coolant was still very dirty and low it took forever to talk to the man about getting the service done because he kept answering the phone in front of me and talking to customers over the phone even though I was waiting in line for a while they told me after I pick the jeep up that the problem wasn’t fixed that it was a blender door so I replace that and it was still not fixed. I strongly believe they did not do the flush correctly like I asked them to and I had to pay a large sum for this iwould not recommend going back

Hands down the best auto care center in the area. On two different occasions they diagnosed the issue with my car almost immediately, they were polite, professional, quick to complete the repairs and I would estimate almost half the cost of similar service centers. The facility is immaculate and we will not go anywhere else. We can not recommend Meineke highly enough. Thank you Meineke Gainesville you guys are the best!

I took my truck to this location on limestone and after paying over $1200 for services, my vehicle still did not work. I tried calling to talk to James,the mechanic who worked on my vehicle, and I was kept on hold forever. He wouldnt come to the phone. I went to the location to speak with him and he wouldnt come to the lobby area. I am extremely disappointed with the way that I was treated and would not recommend this place to anyone.

A little pricey, but they do offer financing (payment plan) which helps with expensive maintenance/repairs. I called in advance to ask some questions, and I believe Mark, was who I spoke with. He had a great attitude and does a phenomenal job representing the business. He was patient, well versed and professional. I will be back! Thank you for the outstanding customer service!!

Getting auto repairs can be fairly stressful. Thank goodness I finally found a local repair shop I can trust. This has been my second time at this location to have exhaust work done. They are the best.

I took a VW to have a daytime running light bulb replaced. They said it should be about 30 minutes. Waited 4 hours for them to pull the car around and ask me what bolt (not bulb) needed to be looked at. After another hour or so later, they told me they couldnt fix it because they couldnt get to the bulb and gave me a coupon. Another shop swapped that bulb for free while doing other repairs. Prior to that, oil change was done on a Honda Accord. Oil began leaking afterward. Took to shop that swapped the bulb for free, and they showed me a shiny oil new plug that was leaking oil and could be turned by hand; oil was dripping. The threads on the oil pan were ruined. The management at this location is nice, but unless you want to spend a lot of time waiting and risk damage to your vehicle, I recommend going elsewhere. It may not be intentional, but I wont return even for an oil change. Two bad experiences on two different vehicles back to back.

Very disappointed in my experience. They made a mistake and damaged my car. I could have let that go but they never attempted to apologize or rectify the situation. I’ve been waiting 2 1/2 months for the part they owe me to come in. I haven’t received ONE phone call from them, only excuses. I was very disappointed and saddened by the whole situation especially after I gave them the benefit of the doubt as we all make mistakes but I regret ever using this place. Save yourself the disappointment.

Mark is the owner and worked just as hard as his employees which is rare for an owner. Very impressed. Great shop, great service and great prices. I’d recommend this shop to everyone.

I had bought a car from carvana and mineke does their warranty work. I had a couple of issues with purchase and they sent me to mineke for the service. Mark the manager was great. Got right on the phone when carvanas warranty department and explained the problems I was having and got all of it approved. Left with 4 brand new tires and a inmass airflow sensor. Excellent work and very nice people. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks alot Mark. Great guy..

I work 3rd shift so I was very tired that morning I went in to get service for my car . The owner looked at my car for me and without even asking he contacted my car dealer for my warranty to approve my services fixed my car and sent me on my merry little way only took all of 2 hrs . I was so thankful seeing as though I know little about cars and warranties. Thank you guys for your service

Overheated driving through town.This Meineke was closest. I was quoted a Thermostat, Sensor, plus labor to fix it. $ 312.00 I told the girl at counter I had a new Thermostat put in just in March but ok. She then stated discussing some housing. Wasnt sure what she meant so I just pointed to the quote and said If you do whats on the quote, will it fix the problem. ? She said yes so I said go ahead. It took the rest of day and counter person left. Later near closing I was called in back and told it was bad news...the Thermostat and Sensor did not fix the problem. Further I really shouldnt drive it and they could try another part next day...Housing. If that didnt work could be very major Head Gasket. I was ovet 25 miles from home. The Manager Mark offered to give me a ride all the way home. He was very good and honest. ..telling me there was an 85% chance oh the housing working. He mentioned that he would not charge for the labor again since it was charged for first days attempt.Luckily the next day the housing worked and car worked with no overheating. The bill was over $500 and I questioned if I was charged for the first day attempt? Anyway I guess I did get a new Thermostat and Sensor ...final bill was $475. Im pleased the car is fixed and the personnel were very good! My only issue was that the first day when I asked if the quoted service would fix the problem, I should have been told...we are not sure I can understand that this happens.

My vehicle broke down on the side of the interstate which was 6 hours away from any of my family! I called them and explained what happened with my vehicle and they instructed me to have a wreck bring my vehicle straight there. They were waiting at the door and had the parts ready! They also welcomed myself, my son and two dogs in their waiting room! It only took maybe an hour and we were on the road again! We were honestly treated like family!

I have two car one they gave me a wrong diagnostic for one the second one they couldnt figure out why my car wouldnt crank so they left everything they did to the car taken apart and they gave me a battery that didnt even belong to my car and took my battery.

I had recently purchased a fairly new vehicle and had owned it only 6 days. I had a time sensitive decision to make regarding the return and exchange of the car in the next 24 hours. All the dealerships I called had a week long waiting list before they’d even look at the car.Meineke got me in right away. Mark really made me feel like he had my best interest in mind as the consumer which the first time I had felt like that with our vehicle dilemmas over the last 2 months. He even facilitated how the rental would be handled with the warranty agency. He really had my back. Meineke gave me the impression of honest work. I really appreciated that.

They installed a battery for me that I purchased next door to their business. They charged me $68.00 for a job that took them about 10 minutes to do. They first said they were going to charge me $95.00, but gave me a discounted price. They said had I purchased the battery from them, there would have been no labor charge. Sounds like their battery would have been over priced to make up the no charge to install had I purchased it from them.

I had a warning light come on about my tires and stopped there to have it checked out. They could have taken advantage of me by telling me I needed new tires or I had a leak and I would have believed them. They were so helpful and nice , the young man checked all the pressure in my tires added air and explained about how the pressure can fluctuate with the cold . I will definitely be back when Im ready to buy some new tires and for service. Great service , honest staff and very courteous.

I have been using this shop since I moved to Gainesville 2 years ago. Up til now it was just oil changes and regular service calls. The other day my car just shut down and I had it towed to the Gainesville Meineke shop on Limestone Parkway. Mark is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He diagnosed the problem and had one of his quality mechanics verify the problem. They offered me some solutions to solving the issue being mindful of my budget. All in all it was a pleasant experience in a not so pleasant situation.

Workmanship was good but their reservation system needs a lot of help. I was told 2 to 2 1/2 hours of work and an appointment at 11am. At 430 it still hasnt been finished!!!

I dont normally give reviews but, your service was poor. My tail lights were out, I came to your store workshop at Gainesville, Ga. They told me they fixed my tail lights (obviously the technician replaced my bulbs, but it was the fuse that was burnt), and they didnt say anything. It would have been logical to tell your customer that you replaced the bulbs, but you noticed the fuse was the problem. Your customer service is zero & you are cheats. It shows the kind of people you have in your company.

I was overdue for a oil change and I just knew I was going to be there for several hours...... They are always friendly and courteous. They gave me ALL the information I needed to help me maintain my car’s performance. I fell really comfortable there and suggest this location to ALL.

Went in with a leak somewhere in my exhaust. Unlike most places that would try to get as much out of you as possible, they did an easy fix and were extremely honest about it. My car is very quiet now and I will be going back when I need something done.

I’ve been going to Meineke for years and always had an awesome experience. The location in Cumming near me closed which was unfortunate but I’m glad I found the Gainesville location! Their prices for oil changes are the best around and they always do a quality job. They also did an amazing job on my brakes. I definitely recommend them to anyone who hasn’t been here before!

Really good environment. They helped me out as fasted as they could. I was quoted one price then he realized he had the part I needed in the shop and the price went down 100 bucks. That’s pretty cool and they made me laugh. I would definitely recommend this place.

They didnt bother to write my appointment down I made perviously. Had to ask them to why my car wasnt seen 40 minutes after my appointment right away sir. Made me late for another appointment.

Customer service is beyond expectations. Owner goes over every step that was taken in the service. He comes in, sits down and explains all that was done...like a doctor after treatment! Only concern is when the car is presented following service, there has not been a proper covering on seat or paper mat on floor. Mechanics carry grease/dirt on hands, clothes and shoes. This care needs to be inforced.

Slow today. We waited for an hour just to talk to the guy that was doing some muffler work on my sons car. They were super busy but told my son to be there at a certain time today. They took the car in (after an hour of waiting) and never spoke to my son. They didnt call when it was ready either. My husband swung by and saw it setting in the parking lot.
