Making the reservation was a breeze, and correcting an entry was easy, using the chat app. The operator was very efficient. The appointment was the next day after I called, though 8a to 5p was the window, which is fine. The repairman came in, immediately started, went through diagnostic steps quickly, fixed the issue, cleaned up, and left. Pleasant the whole time. And the fridge is fixed.

The representative who took my call was pleasant and we got to the need for a service call pretty quickly. After setting the date with him, I realized that it would not do due to my wifes doctors appointment. The change online was easy. The serviceman was friendly and took the time to explain the problem. A second call would be required when a new part arrived. All went well.I do wish Sears would do something about the time frame of a service call. Someone has to take a day off work to cover what amounts to an entire workday. Also, checking online the night before the scheduled second visit revealed a time frame of 4:00 to 6:00 (I believe). Planning around that, we were surprised to get a call at about 9:00 AM. Fortunately, my wife was able to meet the repairman, although she was on a job when she got the call. I know there are a lot of variable with service calls, but if that time-frame issue could be improved, I believe your customers would be very appreciative.Still, the service was excellent. Thus the 5 stars.

Sears appliance repairs and customer service is unbelievably the worse my family has ever been associated with. From reporting a problem to getting a technician to your home.. With the purchase of near 11K of Kenmore Elite appliances with extended warranty in our new home 24 months ago the problems are still current today. Their service dept. will always schedule the technician to come to your home between 8am and 5pm. On several occasion my wife or i will stay home from work , all day and without notice their a No show. This is frustrating when we were instructed to unload and defrost our refrigerator for the second time and they not show. We call customer service they are the most unconcerned organization with inconveniencing you as we have ever imagined. We have lost numerous days without pay waiting on repair technician. On two different occasion, parts were to be mailed to our house.. After a wait of two to four weeks the technician comes to our house to find either the wrong part or no part which is a reschedule for a return trip. Recently we asked for a repairman in Nov. 2019, service was scheduled for Dec 3rd. Technician comes,, fyi according to the tech, is not allowed to carry parts in their service trucks. So,,, another ordered part, another miss ordered part ,, another wait for weeks,, another tech most of the time a different tech,, finds the correct parts is not been delivered.. Its been a long two years with these problems,,, Dec. 17, 2019 still waiting on the correct parts to be delivered and a technician to actually show up on the day they are scheduled to.. Any Help would be appreciated , got a lemon..

We have maintained service protection agreements on our appliances for many years. They are wonderful. Our refrigerator has been repaired to our satisfaction. It took visits from 3 of your techs to find the problem and correct it, but Sears pursued the answer until the job was done. Thank you!

Sears was awesome! They were able to get my washer and dryer serviced and then replaced the dryers timing device within a week. We love our Sears home warranty! Professional and experienced repairman who was very nice.

I scheduled an appointment via chat on the Sears Repair Website. It was easy. Josh, my technician, arrived on time. He diagnosed the problem with my dryer quickly and explained all my options. He fixed the dryer in under an hour. He was polite and efficient. I would definitely use this company again.

Gentleman was efficient and polite. He was very kind and diagnosed a problem with my washer and explained what would have to be done to fix the issue. He stated he did not have ball bearings on his truck and stated they would have to be ordered and I would be called when they were coming back to fix my washer.The repair man was AWESOME and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. My washer now works like new!!

The man was very nice and polite. When we called we were told it would be the heating element or heating coil. The man was at the house maybe 15 minutes and charged my 81 year old mother $93 dollars to tell her to check her fuse box. Great prices for that info Sears!

The service man gets five stars, but Sears probably two or less. The problems are that 1) the time between call and appointment is over a week, closer two; 2) and when problem is discovered, the part has to be ordered requiring a similar wait for service. The service man apologized for the delay and told me that they used to keep such spares on the truck but the policy has changed.Like I said, the service man was great. Quick, professional, friendly. I wish the supporting organization were, well, better organized.

My stove is still not repaired. The part was the wrong one. The technician said he would order the correct part and possibly fix it tomorrow. March 18, 2016.The part has not arrived and I do not have a notice of anyone supposed to be coming tomorrow. ?????Not too happy with my stove not being fixed yet.Thanks for asking.Anna

The repair work was excellent as always....however I am totally upset with the long delay that exists in my area in terms of response to a request for service....about a month most of the time. That is unacceptable when mowers are in need of servicing...by the time the machine is up and running again, the grass has grown so tall that it has to be taken down in several stages which require a great deal of time and extra fuel. That is not what I thought I bought with the extended service contract. If that situation is not dealt with, I can tell you this is the last Craftsman mower I will be purchasing.

Had a compact fridge less than 1 & 1/2 year old with 2 year extended warranty, I unplugged to defrost and when I hit ice in freezer section after much had melted, the ice punched a hole in the freon line in the freezer section. After first scheduled repair visit was canceled, rescheduled and repair person took picture and said could not be repaired. So nothing was done or no reason for not being able to repair was given, even if it was my fault.

The technician was very friendly and efficient. He had everything working again in less than an hour. However, as my freezer had been down for a week I lost all the food in it. A claim was filed with Sears but they have neglected to reply to my claim.

This is the THIRD time we have had to have Sears come and fix our double wall ovens! This man they sent the last 2 times says the stupidest things! He told me the auto-clean on an oven is just an option they put on there to make you buy it!!! Youre NOT SUPPOSED TO USE IT!!! he said!!! Then he said the oven get too HOT when you use the auto-clean (stupid because they have vents!!!! but I guess he hasnt figured it out yet!! But in short Im growing weary of these ovens stopping working and this ding-a-ling of a technition that Sears keeps sending out!!! All of our other appliances are Kenmore and we love them!!!

I waited ALL DAY, from 8am and they show up after 6pm. Came an hour after the time they said they would be here. Did the job in silence and were not friendly. If I had known they wouldnt be here until after 6pm, I would have gotten some things done. Sears wasted my time, I will not allow you to ever do that to me again. I will find a more reliable company to service my appliances. Your service stinks!

I was very disappointed ! The technician was nice but he did not listen to me nor did he completely fix my tractors problem. I do all the grass mowing and I know this tractor , the blade was bad I told him that . He was also told that the deck was not level. When it cuts there are 2 levels , part was one bent blade but new blades did not completely fix the problem.The tech said the decks are made that way, I disagree because I know how this mower is supposed to cut . After waiting 2 weeks for repair , now I am waiting again! Poor customer service, someone should have come back the next day. Kim morgan

I have been trying to get my refrigerator fixed since May . They have came out several times ordered several parts and it still is not working .I call and I have had to hold the phone for 2 hours before someone answers . I bought 5 different appliances 2 years ago .with the 5 year warranty .I have begged and pleaded to fix fridge .3 months still no fridge .

What an awful experience! I bought a front load washer and dryer w/ pedestals 3 years ago. I have already had 3 techs here to try and repair my washer. The 4th guys was suppose to show up yesterday and instead of getting a call it was simply rescheduled without my knowledge. That is unacceptable and unprofessional. So far they have sent people who seem to not know how to even repair a toaster. I will never spend another $ in Sears and you can take that to the bank!
