Great experience with this delivery company. I was notified of the delivery window a little over 24 hours before and got a call again about 30 minutes before their arrival. They handled my items with care. The gentleman that delivered my furniture also observed COVID precautions and wore a mask. Greatly appreciated!

Great people moved in my new furniture. Didnt complain when they had to take the longer way to get the couch into my home. There was damage to a piece after they unwrapped it and called customer service right away to get it taken care of. Very professional and personable.

I appreciated receiving a call that they were 30 minutes away, and they waited until I arrived home. They were also nice enough to undress my furniture outside of my home so there was not a mess inside my home. Thank you again for placing the furniture and keeping everything clean. Berger is a perfect place to get your shipping and storage done if you are into things such as them losing a whole crate worth of your items, breaking both your televisions and for them to never actually help. Norma had been the only helpful employee at this location. Everyone else doesnt even bother to assist you, instead, they just tell you that we lost a whole storage unit in their warehouse, and to file an insurance claim for it. Even though storage doesnt just vanish into thin air. The things they lost of mine were all my military awards, uniforms, etc. Horrible horrible company.

Troy was my initial contact (sales). Troy and I did a video walkthrough of our home and he quoted me a price to move our things from L.A. to Las Vegas. The final price was about $1100 more, which we knew was fair as we had additional boxes in an off site storage. Fernando was our driver and the supervisor of the move-out and move-in with a hard-working friendly crew at each location. He knows his stuff! He is very professional and not one thing was broken!! I cannot say enough good things about Fernando! Sol is the third person who is part of your team. She orchestrates everything from the offices, and handles the billing and the middle man communication. Sol actually called us 2 days after delivery to tell us we had a couple hundred dollars coming back to us as they reweighed and checked everything. FIVE STARS - call them and try to get our crew!!

This was the worst delivery experience I’ve ever had. On day of delivery I had to call and then they tell me they actually don’t have the item there to deliver. They don’t answer and don’t return my call to reschedule. Months go by no word from them. I had to let store know I didn’t receive shipment. Then they scheduled me but this time didn’t give me a time window like they said until I called and asked for it. The online tracking didn’t work and said it had already been delivered. The guy texts me that morning. Says he’s waiting outside. He went to the store purchased from instead of my house to deliver Waiting another half an hour he calls and says he got numbers of customers mixed up. Luckily I finally got the product but such a hassle!

When the item was finally delivered, it was done in 5-star fashion. But there were so many problems scheduling delivery! At first they proposed to deliver during my vacation and I requested they reschedule. Then they called me on vacation saying they were 20 minutes away, and I again requested they reschedule. Then there was nearly a month while they were almost completely unresponsive…never returning calls or e-mails. A few times I actually talked to a person who said they no longer had the item. I had to escalate the matter with Arhaus to get them to respond and schedule a new delivery date.The delivery crew, however, was impeccable.

Highly recommend. This was a major move for me and you read horror stories about moving companies about being charged more to get your things delivered but there were no surprises and everything was handled so professionally by Anthony and April at Berger/Allied. The price was locked in and very reasonable and fair. Highly recommend this company!! They make is seamless for you and their driver Jorge was fantastic too!! Will definitely use them again for any upcoming moves.

Compared to other delivery services I have used in the last 3 months for furniture delivery, these guys were far less professional than the others. They did not take care when setting the furniture in place, admitting that they bumped other furniture, did not have gloves, and were rushed. They left the front door open after they left and left remnants of packaging behind. Super disappointed and makes me not want to order furniture from this company again.

This was the moving service that delivered my Arhaus sectional couch and coffee table. Polite and clear communication, but two complaints. The first is that after my original delivery date was postponed because of a driver’s injury, there was not clear communication about when my items would arrive. The couch came just two days after it was supposed to which is great, but they didn’t move the coffee table onto the same delivery truck, and almost a week later I’m still waiting for it with no update from them on when it will arrive. Also, they got a small bit of dirt on my new white couch that I am not able to wipe off, even though it’s performance fabric. The delivery people themselves were very nice and fast though.

**AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS**Our items were picked up from Laguna Beach, California on July 13th for a cross country move to Sarasota, Florida. The move was sub-contracted to someone who, after picking all of our stuff up, informed us that 8 of our boxes were left behind in a warehouse somewhere in California -- the exact location was not disclosed.My husband and I have called and emailed Allied over 15 times trying to get information on the location and status of our remaining items. On July 28th, we finally got a response from someone saying they were on a truck across the country, but no more information.Yesterday, I followed up again and was told the items were getting on a truck yesterday (not on the 28th, like they said they were). I have completely lost confidence that anyone knows where our items are and when theyre going to arrive.There are over $10,000 in items that are missing, including our silverware from our wedding, pots, pans, a television, a grill, smaller kitchen appliances like our mixer, toaster, etc. We have had to purchase some replacement items because these items are things we need to use on a day-to-day basis.Additionally, many of the items that actually were delivered are damaged. Our headboard has a few chunks taken out from it, our side table is scratched to hell, and the movers took a huge chunk of the wood floor out upon moving into our rental, which well definitely be charged for upon our move out.I am furious and cannot believe your companys lack of communication and disorganization.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve EVER encountered with a service company. They are hired by ARHAUS furniture to deliver their products. I tried calling over 8 times to change the delivery date. I got VM each time with no returned call ever over a 3 week period. I finally got through to a live person she confirmed the date I wanted. Then they never called 24 hours ahead (as they said they would) to give me a window time for the delivery. So I called the morning of the delivery and I again got VM. So I called back, finally got a person who said they would have someone call me back. No one did for 2 days, so I had to call again. The receptionist transferred me to a person in charge of setting up deliveries who then transferred me to another person in the warehouse who said he would have to locate my furniture and call me back. He never did. I called him again and he said my furniture wasn’t on the truck so I would need to reschedule for the following day. Again I never got the advanced call with the delivery window. And of course they didn’t delivery that day because apparently the truck had broken down and the driver never reported in about that. So again I called and asked to speak with a manager who was in a meeting. She texted me back hours later and I missed the text. When I finally got her, she gave me a time for the following day. At the time of arrival, I was unable to be present and had to have my daughter and neighbor stepin to be there for the delivery. When they arrived, they apparently took the plastic wrap off before placing the furniture on their dirty dollies then inside the house. Of course they got dirt all over the white couch. They also chipped the leg of the chairs and said we had to accept the delivery and that we couldn’t refuse it. The chip was found in my driveway so it was obvious that it was them who did it. I would highly recommend that you stay far away and completely avoid this company. Now I have to deal with this and I’ve been waiting for this furniture for months. Overall I think IMust have called them 30+ times. I did finally learn they they were severely understaffed. HORRIBLE company.

I only wish I could give a lower rating. They lied and misinformed us every step of the way. They had no idea when we were being packed, what day we were being moved, or even how they would transport our items. They lied about them being in transport a week before they actually were. They lied about the delivery day. When the items finally got here they lied about the delivery time. They refused to assemble items they had taken apart themselves. They managed to somehow lose our entire couch.

Berger Allied was the receiver for a furniture order from Arhaus. While my experience with the designer at Arhaus was not a good one, Robert at Berger Allied was the saving grace. He was easy to reach, communicative, patient, and worked hard to make an otherwise frustrating experience turn out well. We shopped around and checked ratings of many different moving companies and i have to say that from start to finish we are please with our choice to go with Berger Allied Moving. Douglas the driver was extremely professional and helpful in our move from California to Tennessee. He and his crew in California were fast and careful with our belongings. In Tennessee his help didnt show up and he moved 100% of our belongings by himself with very little help from us. He took extreme care with our household items and went above and beyond to make this stressful move a lot more relaxed. Would i use them again .... Absolutely. And i would hope it is Douglas again. Will I recommend them .... Absolutely. Thank You For Your Company being so helpful and professional.

I was very happy with all aspects of the move. Sandra Rhodes coordinated everything from start to finish and made everything go smoothly. She provided us with a delivery date and updates along the way. The delivery date was the indeed the one we had been given, despite the long distance involved (cross country). Sandra was always in touch, typically answered all calls and emails within an hour, and helped with a few special requests. Movers and packagers at the origin were friendly and competent. So were the driver and the movers at the destination. Sandy and Jim Trout were fantastic in helping us unpack and set up the home. I would highly recommend everyone involved in this move! Thank you!

Reputable agents arrive to deliver in other words do the job before requesting payment. Berger demands payment before the truck even arrives at your destination and threatens that if they don’t receive payment they will not send the driver to the destination. This is completely unacceptable and in my opinion disreputable. Payment should be made at the time of delivery. I have used other reputable Allied and other agents before many times and none have ever called demanding payment before delivery or and I quote “the driver won’t even come unless payment is received first”. I would not recommend Berger I would never use them again.

Very disappointed in Berger Allied. I used Allied when I moved cross-country in 2005 and was hoping to use them again for another long distance move in 2018. Nicole in the office was extremely helpful and noted my specific move dates - my move is 6 months out, so I was told the dates shouldnt be an issue. When I was contacted by the move coordinator, he called 20 minutes before our scheduled call and left a voicemail saying he would only be available for the next 30-45 minutes because he was going to an event with his family and would be ending his day early. I cut a work meeting short and called him right back and after sharing my move dates, he told me that the delivery would take 1-2 weeks and that theres no way they could accommodate my date request for delivery. I was surprised, because I was told by 2 Allied employees that it shouldnt be an issue since I was calling 6 months early and said that other companies were able to give me a 2 day delivery window due to very early booking. The Berger move coordinator told me I should go with one of those companies then, as Allied could not work with my date request. He told me good luck with the move and ended the call. My business wasnt important to him or Berger Allied. Moving on... Two Men and a Truck were happy to meet my move dates and have my business, so they will be handling my move.

Allied Van Lines exceeded all expectations with my familys move from Los Angeles to Seattle. Allied was a class act experience from start to finish -- from the initial quote (which was the lowest and best) to the several changes and questions we had for over two months (always accommodating and got back to me right away with no complaints) to the very clear communication about the process of the move to the packers and movers who loaded everything up to the movers who unloaded everything (and arrived EARLY) to the wrap up and claims we had (which were minimal and they quickly reimbursed). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVING COMPANY AND WILL ONLY USE THEM FOR ANY FUTURE MOVES! Thank you, thank you Allied!

Because Berger Allied was the worst experience I ever had when it comes to customer service, their agents are rude and don’t care at all about the client (they are not at least considerate that their clients are sometimes everything they have). If you are looking for a Moving & Storage service do yourself a favor and do not choose Berger Allied!!! I was told that I still have to wait 18 more days for my goods to be delivery and I’m praying that nothing is damaged, which according to other reviews it most like will be.

Leaving negative reviews is not something I enjoy and I try to avoid doing so, but this company unprofessionalism needs to be addressed. Six months ago we contacted this company to help us move from the west coast to the east coast when my husband was offered a new position. The new company took care of the moving costs and we assumed that this chapter was closed. Not by a long shot! Almost four months later we receive an invoice for an additional $500, apparently the company miscalculated the weight of our possessions. The company agreed to settle and the payment was made in a few days. One would think that this chapter was finally closed! One would be wrong, for the past two months I receive a call at least once a week. Heres the kicker : I keep explaining that the company settled both invoices, they have all the information as to who made the payments and instead of contacting the company, I am being harrassed. Not to mention that I am not so sure about the validity of an invoice issued four months later and the fact that when the movers reassembled the bed they ignored a few screws and a couple of days later we ended up on the floor in the middle of the night! Moving was a traumatic experience in itself and having to deal with this company was a bit overwhelming.
