I hired this company long-distance to clean up the yard at my late aunts house and to take over weekly mowing. I had tried another company, but they did a poor job, leaving the yard unkempt and failing to return phone calls. David Sloat returned my initial phone call the same day and, although he was already fully booked, managed to squeeze the job in within two days. Not only did he mow, but took care of weeding, trimming bushes, cleaning up debris that had accumulated over the winter, and basically did everything needed to make the yard - and house - look their best for sale. He kept in communication with me throughout the process so I knew exactly what he was doing every step of the way. I couldnt be more pleased.

Due to some recent health issues, my mother has not been able to maintain her yard at all this year and the property was in poor shape. David was empathetic and willing to help bring things back into control for a reasonable rate.When he and his team arrived on the first day, they transformed the yard to a state of neatness I havent seen since childhood! It was lovely. They were friendly and respectful, taking special care not to damage the tiny redbud saplings we had tagged or Moms yard ornaments (even though those are looking more than a little worse for wear after some years of neglect.) Their attention to detail, both in trimming and cleanup is impressive. They even discovered a nest of endangered native honeybees that had made their home in Moms yard and marked the location so that the bees could be avoided/protected.To say Im impressed and that the yard is transformed are true but frankly understatements of their efforts. There are many landscapers around but if you are looking for the best of the lot, look no further than Sloats Outdoor Services!

Due to a recent illness with Covid-19, I was unable to finish fall leaf cleanup on my very large (about 3 acre) wooded yard. David and his crew, with Sloats Outdoor Services, was a greatly appreciated team. They got work done, that would have taken me 2 days to do, in about 6 hours. It was a great stress off of my mind, especially recovering from Covid and not being my usual energetic self. They did excellent work, not only cleaning up the yard, but also cleaning all the leaves from around the house, multiple decks and gutters. I would not hesitate to hire them for future jobs.
