Worst experience of my life! Salesman came out and had me pick out colors for my siding. He discussed the prices that represented each color and we made our choice. He told us they were a bit backed up and could not install until first part of March. We were fine with that.A month later we were notified that they changed the name of the color, but it was still the same color. I did some research and found out that this was a huge lie. For what ever reason they chose to no longer sell this color. We called a different siding company and they informed us that it is still being made by the same company and still available. But, we chose a different color and staid with this company. We were given another date......canceledwe were given another date......canceled again. We were now told that we would not get a date until they had product in hand.months later we were given another date. We were instructed to move everything away from our house and someone needed to be there for the install. So we did as asked and again took time off of work.4 days before install I contact them to make sure all was good and was told sorry but we are not going to make it again. So now I am 4 days of pay down the drain and I thank God I called them because I do not know if they were going to call me.I was told they were waiting on product. You know the product they were going to have in hand prior to making an install date. Yup that! From the start we had the feeling that they did not want our business. They were always very quick to say ok, we can just give you back your deposit. So after taking 4 days off of work and painting three sides of our house to match the vinyl they canceled and we canceled them!

The windows installed were Del Mar by Anlin. The windows are beautiful and highly recommend them. Unfortunately, the process after signing the contract is where my distaste began.8-31-20 Agreed to terms to begin installation on 10-26-20. I called prior to verify Northwest would be arriving. They said they could not make it then and rescheduled to 11-09-20. Then they called back later to schedule for 11-10-20 or 11-11-20. They settled on 11-10-20 and would conclude on 11-11-20.One week prior to their scheduled arrival, I received a call from Northwest asking to reschedule again, because they fell behind on another job. I said it was unacceptable and they said they could still work our job in and would reschedule someone else.On 11-10-20 One associate arrived and was looking over my home. When I came out to greet him, he explained that he would be unable to install the windows on his own. I agreed, but asked why it was only him. He said his partners truck broke down and could not get there. As he was leaving I explained to him that I would be coming at Northwest with legal action if they continued to treat this situation so lightly. A couple of hours later and several threatening calls, the associate returned with another partner and installed two of the 10 windows. They said said they could return the next day to complete the job. The original sales person promised the job would be competed in one day.11-11-20 two Northwest associates arrived to complete the window installations and they did. However, they were hired to also replace the window trim surrounding eight of the windows. They asked if they could return to complete the job on 11-20-20. I felt I had no other choice. Unfortunately, when the time came to do so, they installed only a portion of the trim, because the associates that measured the areas twice, did not measure properly and had to reorder the correct size trim. Of course, Thanksgiving was the following week and they wouldnt come then.By now, I gave up on keeping track of when they were coming back. They eventually returned in December to hopefully finish their work. Of course, they did not. The associates arrived and replaced the irregular sized trim fairly quickly. They cleaned everything up and loaded their trucks. When I walked out to inspect their work, a whole piece of trim was missing and exposed the wood to my home. The associate explained the arcs were too tough to cut on-site and needed to take back and use as a template to cut them properly. When I asked when they would be returning, they said they didnt know. I asked for them to put the trim back and when they did find out, return and take the arc for the cut.January 5th, 2021 - Northwest finally returned to complete the job.February 10th I had to have Northwest return to fix a glue job. Nothing serious, but just lucky, I am working from home, because of Covid. For all the inconveniences, Northwest could have handled the situation better. More so if I had to take time off work to be here.Again, we love the windows. Our neighbors and friends like them as well. But I warn everyone of the long episode of inconveniences we went through to get this job complete.

I had windows installed, and went to paint the trim and noticed one side of the windows were inside the window frame, and the other side outside the window frame, resting on the trim. I called, and got no contact after the initial contact, for almost a week, so I contacted them again. The following Wednesday Hector came out to check the windows, and concluded the problem was due to my window frames.I am not an expert on windows, but, if the windows had been measured correctly, wouldnt they have fit inside the window frame???He just left, but it would appear they are not going to do anything to correct the problem. I will update my review if something changes I will up date my review.8/8/19 They wanted to pull one window first to try to determine what the problem was. After pulling the window it was determined that the window frame was am issue, so they installed a new frame and trimmed the vinyl to fit within the frame. They finally can and finished installing the other 3 frames today They, also reinstalled some vinyl trim, and some screen that was split, I believe, by the painters when they pressure washed the house. Once they show up they did a very professional job correcting the problems, and they do provide a life time warranty. The windows have proven to be very energy efficient.t

I have had dealings with Ruth from Northwest Exteriors for 2 jobs. I cannot stress enough how delightful she is as well as being professional and knowing her job. The workers who have come out to do my 2 security doors have been professional, fast, and efficient. I have had nothing to complain about. I would recommend Northwest without any hesitation at all. Great company!

Rant of the Day:When some says Hi I need to get my sliding glass window replaced, it broke last nightDont reply:--Is there a Mrs. there?Excuse me?--Is there a lady of the house as well?Um, Im married, but what does that have to do with getting my sliding glass window replaced?--Its company policy that we have both owners of the house present when we do a presentation.Huh?? We need a window fixed.--Well we need both people on the deed to be present. What time would you like to set an appointment.--(is this guy kidding me). Listen fella, I have a broken sliding glass window here, and Id like it replaced, Im the owner of the house...I dont need a demonstration or a sales pitch. Im paying cash and Id like to get it done asap. Im home today and I was hoping to get the process started right away. But we still need your wife with you.[Click]Are these guys retarded? Who trains their staff to talk this way.Let me retrain you:1. Establish the problem2. Get contact info in case of disconnect3. If I called earlier, dont lose my info and randomly call the first person with a J in their name.4. Put someone on the phone who can assist a customer with their problem.5. ...and will listen.6. Then see what the customer would like to do: estimate, quote, visitation.Adios, Im going to find some professionals, not some salesman and a disorganized corporate front office.

We put off our front door replacement project for as long as possible because it was so daunting. We had three companies come out for estimates, and the whole experience with James at Northwest was head and shoulders above all the rest. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and thorough. We got the quote on the spot and got the ball rolling because it seemed to be a no brainer to go with Northwest. Everything went like clockwork, from ordering to scheduling, to installation. The installers came this morning and finished in record time, doing a beautiful and professional job. We absolutely love our new front door and give Northwest Exteriors our highest recommendation.

I had an extremely long wait from ordering my patio cover until it was finally installed. I was never contacted about the status of my order and finally had to pull strings and have a manager that I know look into things. Once the ball got rolling, all was well until the city contacted me about an incomplete permit. Next time I will use a different company that is able to put the business pieces together along with the aluminum.
