Classic barbershop feel without the hipster vibe many contemporary shops adopt. Some of these guys may be long in the tooth, but they do amazing work with attention to detail. I have been going here for the past 6 years.

I usually see Duane for all of my cuts, but all the men in there seem to know how to cut hair. Recommend calling ahead and making an appointments. Sometimes they can do a walk-in, but best to call first. The guys are professional and have a good sense of humor.

This is a no-B.S., no gimmicks, real barbershop. I found this place by chance about a year ago and I refuse to go anywhere else. These guys are passionate about what they do; they are not just here for a job.Great conversation, great atmosphere. These guys dont need any gimmicks like other chain barbershops do to keep people coming back.

I brought my 12 year old son here on a whim. It was recommended to me by my supervisor who goes when I mentioned that our regular spot had closed and my son desperately needed a cut before Christmas photos and needed it fast. My son is VERY picky! He loved this place. He loved his cut. On top of the gentleman being good at what they do and very fun & friendly, I had misplaced my wallet at home and didnt realize it until after the hair cut. The man who cut my sons hair said it was fine and I could pay when and if I came back. Obviously I called someone to bring me my wallet. But I thought it was nice of him to be so trusting and understanding.That said, Im taking my son back today to get his hair cleaned up. We really like it there. Added bonus: its super affordable and Ive never had any issues getting in right away.

The men at Hi-life are motorcycle riding, classic car enthusiasts, hunters, and great at conversation. I walked in, had not had a decent haircut, since I decided to let it grow a little, and within minutes, I was in a chair. Duane cut my hair. Speaking with him, time went by fast. Everyone in the shop, shared the story of the shops history. Duane not exactly knowing how I wanted the style, did a superb job. Ill never go anywhere else. Great group of men who take their time to ensure you have a good experience and cut. The blower and brushing, make sure I dont ever leave with loose hair on shirt or neck. I make appointments for cuts, but they also take walk-ins.

Set an appt . Got the barbershop next day for them to be closed .Don’t set appts with clients if you don’t plan on keeping them

Best barber shop in Fresno! Tom, Ron, Billy, Amy and Duane are very welcoming and made sure I left with the perfect haircut. If your Looking for an old school cut or a new edgy, modern cut you should check this place out! I just walked in but they also take appointments. I seriously recommend this shop!

Sadly The coolest guy who cut my hair for 18 years passed away. I never found a baber like him. RIP Ron. We would always talk sports he loved his Rams.

Got an awesome haircut today. Dont think I caught the gentlemans name but they all definitely know what they are doing. Stopped by today for the first time and fell in love with the place. Cozy, classic barbershop feel inside with great staff. Everyone was super friendly, and in half-hour or so I got one of the best haircuts Ive ever had. They take appointments, so Im very much looking forward to being a regular. Duane was my barber, give him a call if you need a cut.

They were very understanding. They didnt ask too many questions about how I would like my hair cut. She actually helped me pick what I want my hair to look like. I recommend this place. Could have more parking though.

Recently relocated to Fresno from Pacific Northwest and have been trying out different barbers in town. Got a great cut and beard trim from Tom. Great conversation, laid back atmosphere, and reasonable prices! Will definitely be returning for my regular cuts.

I called last minute to get a haircut and was able to quickly get service and didnt have to wait upon arrival. Service was excellent. I can tell right off when arrived that this is a place where they will know you by name. I plan to return!

Very disappointed with my haircut, I asked for a fade and all I got was 3 different numbers not even blended in. Theres a bunch of old guys working there if you are under 30 and want a decent haircut I advise you to go anywhere else. I feel embarrassed for myself and for the barbershop for such a terrible job. On top of that Andy charged me $16 which is outrageous for the work he did. Never going back.

This is the place to go! This place is old school, which should be the new school, where you can depend on getting a good haircut. Definitely not a corporate place where youre just another number. Dont think twice just go!

Lazy people work there! Three guys sitting on chair but none gave me haircut as they said they had appointment! I stood outside for I like 20 mins but no one showed up, hence they could have gave me haircut... Is it because I am an international person? Worst experience as I took 2 buses to go their and had to go back without hair cut..😏😏😏

Wont be returning. here the other day. Let the barber know what I wanted. Looked myself at their big mirror, looked ok. Came home, looked closer. And noticed one side compared to the other were cut uneven. And the back was uneven. Taper went from high to low. And the blend was off. Duane was the barber. Ive never had my hair cut by the others. Could be different story. Just my .2
