This was my 2nd visit to Sunnyside Auto Repair for my 98 minivan. It has had an oil leak that was getting worse over time. The communication was great about problems that were found. With my approval they ended up taking care of some other necessary items while in there doing the work. Overall I think I got a great service at a great price and excellent customer service. I will certainly return.

My check engine light come on while I was traveling through the Sequoias.Called around to check availability and every shop around had a 2+ business day lead time.Even though they couldn’t fit me in for a full repair, Sunnyside Auto checked my fluids and ran a quick diagnostic for me. Staff was very kind and knowledgeable.

Jeff and his team were all extremely professional, timely, and fixed my air conditioning, which ended up being a bad electrical connection. After leaving, I remembered that I had my AC repaired at another mechanic a while back and it cost about $600, and they must have not actually fixed it. Jeff’s team quickly found what the issue was, which wasn’t very expensive, and now my AC is working great. My extended family has been going to Sunnyside for a while and recommended it to us. My husband and I will definitely be coming back here from now on.

The experience is always good, even if the news isnt (lets be honest: is it ever good news of taking your car to a shop?). They are always honest and very detailed in their explanations. We take two of our three cars there and once the factory warranty runs out on the third, that vehicle will also make its way to Sunnyside if something arises.

They will try to fix other issues that you didnt take your vehicle in for. They said they fixed my issue; less than 2 weeks later my van started making worse noises and grinding at a stop so I took it back and they said it wasnt because of what they did. The guy, Aaron, literally told me that it was a coincidence. Sometimes parts just go out, he said. What a bunch of scammers.

Sunnyside Auto gave me a timely and fair evaluation of my brakes and were able to start and finish the job in the same day. My brakes are working perfectly. This is a much better option that taking your car to a dealership. I know that I’ll be back with this and my other 2 cars as needed.

Once again Sunnyside Auto did an amazing job on my nieces car. It was towed in that morning and they were able to get is up and running by the end of the day. They have been my mechanic for over 20 years and are one of the best in the Fresno Clovis area.

Very satisfied with their service!! I took my Chevy Impala to them yesterday. They informed me that my car had two leaks and obviously could not be driven. They replaced my water pump and radiator with a lifetime warranty included. I was able to pick up my car this afternoon. The customer service was on point, very friendly, and they even have a shuttle service available within 5 mile radius. I am a happy camper right now!! I am posting this recommendation regarding Sunnyside Auto Repair. Jeff Ames, the owner, has been servicing all our vehicles we have owned over the last 25 years. We have had brand new cars , and we have had used cars, each of which Jeff serviced them all with expertise that we have never found in another auto service.Jeff has proven time again his honesty and trustworthiness is upmost. He calls right away and tells us exactly what the problem is and what the cost will be. This month of June, 2019, he had the opportunity to service both of our current vehicles. My husband’s vehicle needed a new fuel pump. Jeff referred to his records and saw that we had it replaced 3 years ago. He stated that we should not have to replace the pump this soon. It was defective. Jeff replaced the fuel pump with a new one (which he stated was under warranty), and we only paid for labor. We had not remembered having replaced it, but Jeff did, and he saved us a lot of money.We trust him to do the work that needs to be done and in a timely manner. I requested for my ac to get a vacuum checked and recharged done and it was great but didnt meet my vehicles specs. My 3 drive belts didnt have to get changed yet because they are only a year old, but I had them changed it anyways due to the longevity of my engine.I have changed out my old Ac compressor because it started to squeak but was still very usable. Considering that I have already replaced my ac Compressor to a new one, I knew very well that my ac system was working correctly. I gave two star overall because of the simple far out of spec Ac recharge. I picked up my vehicle and tested the ac and instead of the Ac being cold, it was humid. The paper work claimed that vents were 45 degrees on the final test but I found that to be very untrue.What did I do?I have an ac gauge pressure tester and hooked it up to my lines and found the pressure being very high for its spec. With it being way out of spec, it caused my ac to be humid and to not be as efficient. I took it to another shop and the Ac Tech told me that the Freon was way out of spec and was over the recommend spec. He corrected to spec at no cost to me and did a final vent test in which showed 47.6 degree with no humidity. It currently now has the Toyota Recommend specs along with being very cold.These people are professional and did a wonderful belt job on my truck but should pay attention to small important details. They were very fair and treated me well. Thank you for that.This is a true and final review of my experience thank you for reading.
