Sam was a god sent angel in our lowest of low moments and we had no idea how a funeral was to be conducted, with the added challenge of Covid. Sam was there day and night, to help answer questions, and arrange for all things asked by us to make sure that we were well cared for. Sams calm and every helping demeanor automatically gave us strength and hope for what seems a long road ahead.Sam not only provided the utmost respect to the deceased, but he took the survivors under his wing and provided them all the love and support they needed when they needed it. We recently had a Celebration of Life for my father-in-law, they were extremely attentive and accommodating, they made sure we had everything we needed to have a good service. They were knowledgeable about other burial services. They had enough staff on hand, place was clean, and they are affordable. Highly recommend.

I mostly worked with Sam in getting a funeral service and cremation arranged for my grandma. Ive never been to a funeral and had a lot of questions about getting the affairs in order. I called the chapel before sunrise the day of my late grandmas passing and Sam patiently answered all of my questions and assured me everything would be okay.Sam was able to help with everything from transporting my late grandmother from New Jersey to California, to obtaining permits and death certificates.As we are in a pandemic, they took all the necessary steps to protect our family. The garden hall is beautiful and well maintained. They were also able to work with a local florist to get flowers for the ceremony very last minute (it was Mothers Day weekend).This family owned business is really doing the work of God here on Earth. As as family of the deceased we are grateful for them overall handling of our Moms funeral. From the personnel staff to the facility was nothing short of professional and meaningful. We are glad they are part of our mourning.

I made an appointment before bringing the family in. We waited over an hour before they placed us into a room. The funeral director disappeared and 20 minutes later I questioned the receptionist as to where the funeral director went and they told our family to wait another 20 minutes, as he had gone to lunch. In such a difficult time you really think they would understand, and been given an appointment I was utterly shocked at their service. We had such a horrible experience and I would not recommend this place when youre going through something so hard. They may be less costly but their service shows exactly why.

My dad passed away and hosted by the Berge-Pappas-Smith on March 28th and 29th of 2019. The overall experience was excellent and smooth transitions from the owner Kevin Smith to staffers; Becky Cummins, Sam Smith, Fabian and Ariel were obsolutely going above and beyond their duties to guide and provided our family needs during the difficult time. The staffs ensured to support us all the details to make our family and guests as comfortable as possible.
