Valet and mechanical service are fine. Mid-level customer service needs work. I hate calling people out by name in a public way, but James L. in particular lacks professionalism. I think he hung up on me when I called to tell him my issue was still unresolved. When I went back to the service drive-through today due to the issue not being properly diagnosed in the first place, his personality turned for the worse. Didnt make eye contact or even bother to greet me. Cut me off numerous times while I was explaining myself and argued with me in his office. I left after a couple minutes because the customer service was simply not acceptable. He was pleasant before I spent $1200+ recently on repairs. After that money was spent, a different side of him presented itself. This business seems to treat you one way to get your money, and then show a different side once youre done spending. Buyer beware.

I have always had great experiences at Lexus in Fremont! I am so happy that I purchased my car there and also getting my routine services as well. Everyone that I have worked with just incredibly helpful and always exceed my expectations! A big shout out to my service advisor James Luong! I have been seeing James since Robert left Lexus before the pandemic I think. James is very helpful and thorough and I really enjoy working with him! I hope Janes stay there as long as I keep my Lexus!Thank you for great service and proving exceptional customer services!!

Car was taken in for maintenance. Everything was excellent, but they provided me with a loaner. My advisor told me that the team would clean and sanitized the loaner. When I entered the car, the interior of it was filthy dirty. From the steering wheel to center console. It seemed like the person prior to using it was eating and dirty all those areas. I was greatly disappointed since it’s a first time Lexus gives me a dirty car to use. Only reason why they do not get the 5 stars.

I did an wheel replacement package with alignment. The job was done almost perfect, tires replaced and alignment is good, steering wheel center etc…BUT they scratched my beautiful rims while replacing it. So I had to take off one star. Now I got to go find the matching paint to repair it

Shane our salesman was very professional, friendly, and welcoming when I went to go checkout my potential vehicle. I knew what I wanted and it was my first time buying a new car. Shane helped every step of the way and made the process seamless. We ended up trading in my car and I chose the new 2021 Infrared IS350 F-Sport which was parked on the showroom floor. The dealership was very friendly and welcoming (not many dealers are and they can be pushy). We were actually going to purchase a used vehicle from Pleasanton Lexus however the sales guy on the phone sounded very stern and condescending. Im glad we came to Fremont and I found exactly what I was looking for. Thanks to Shane and Lexus of Fremont for a phenomenal guest experience!

UPD: My issue has been resolved to my best satisfaction. Monte has been phenomenally helpful and customer oriented. He came to my place and did diagnostic drive with me after his hours. Then he purchased a replacement part and picked my car at my house leaving me with curtesy car. Next day he drove my Lexus back and picked up the loaner. Now the problem is gone and the cruise control is completely functional. This experience was very positive and super convenient. Thank you Monte!>I came to LoF with a problem with Radar Cruise Control which was malfunctioning and at times displaying an error message and shutting off. Later that day Yvonne gave me a call and said they can’t duplicate the problem and do not see any errors in computer memory. She asked my permission for extended test which would involve driving my car to someone’s home and back with test equipment attached. I okayed that and she promised to give me a call next day. Nothing happened on the next day and following weekend. On Monday I called them to check what was going on. Yvonne called me back in a few hours saying again that the car did not act up. She asked to take car back and if the problem repeats RECORD A VIDEO (!). I was shocked since filming that on highway at high speed with malfunctioning cruise control is dangerous and illegal. I told her that I have a picture of the error message. She asked to text it to her and told me they will try again. After 4 more days of radio silence I texted Yvonne and asked about my car. She said they did second extensive test and could not reproduce the issue. And asked to pick up my car and come again if the problem reappears. I did, paid $225 for diagnostic. The mileage was 60 miles up, while the invoice indicated only one mile difference and a comment on the invoice was they drove over 7 miles. Once I got to highway it took 1 min for cruise control to start misbehaving and about 2 min to display the message again. And I recorded that video while it was really unpleasant experience. In next 15 miles the message got displayed 5-6 times and cruise control was barely working. I’m not sure what was done to my car that is called diagnostic and takes a week and 60 miles to find nothing. 5 min on highway do the job. I’m very frustrated.

Scott is a very friendly and experienced service manager. Scott reviewed the past service record and offered me a loaner car. The diagnostic was completed and the problem was cleared very quickly. No surprise. Thanks Scott!

It was a great experience purchasing our first Lexus at Lexus of Fremont. Our salesperson, Austin Penn, was very professional, courteous, considerate and efficient. After the test drive, he offered a very reasonable price the very first time he came back with numbers, and we had an instant agreement. The package was exactly what we wanted, the car was beautiful in every way and a great joy to drive, and the price met our budget and expectation. After experiencing a negative issue with my last visit, the general manager, Bill, reached out and asked how he could make things better. He went above and beyond in fixing the issue and ensuring I was satisfied.Although my car is on the older side, Bill treated me as if I just purchased a brand new one. The only reason I took one star away is because of tge amount of time you have to wait when you drop off your car. Then again when you go pick it up, but other than that the experience was great got a loaner to use while my car was serviced that was beautiful. If they can work on streamlining the process and getting people In and out of there there will be five stars

I have been going to Lexus in Fremont for 18 years. This visit has as been unusually difficult. Usually I receive first class service but not this time. To start off the person I made my appointment with did not actually make the appointment. When I showed up at the time I had requested there was no appointment. They were very polite as usual but I ended up waiting 45 minutes before I was helped by a service rep. When we were done I was told the car wouldnt be ready for pick-up for 3 or 4 days. No problem and got a loaner car. One day later I received a text message that my car was ready but it was after hours so I had to wait til morning to make sure all the work had been done because it was so fast. I had to call 3 times, the first time my rep was off for a few days, call 2 the back up rep was not in and I was connected with another rep and had to leave a message. 2 hours later with no call back I called and was finally connected with someone who actually looked up my service and reported what had been done. Finally! My experience is usually 5 stars but unfortunately, not this time. I will still keep going here for service because they do take good care of my car and I trust they will continue to do so.

I’m not very sure about the positive reviews below. But my experience with Lexus Fremont is worst.I have bought a certified 2019 Lexus UX fSport from Lexus Fremont in June 2021.And today one of the tires got flat and I took the car to a tire service center and they found that there is no wheel lock key in the car. The tire service guys are not able to pull the wheel out. And they are asking me to take it to the dealer .This is not acceptable at all. We are in an impression that everything would be fine with a Lexus and that is the reason we are going for a Lexus.Wheel lock key is an important thing and the dealer missed to add in the certified car .Now I really doubt about the car and their certification process. This is the second complaint I am raising since I bought the car .First one was , one of the car keys was missing,but they have programmed a new one and gave it to me after a month .That was a mild issue. But this is a really serious one. How do I drive the car now with the flat tire?And the sales executive named Alex in Lexus Fremont, will not respond to us after we bought the car in spite of multiple emails or calls.But if you are a new customer, just one call or email to him would be fine enough, then he would be after you everyday till you purchase the car. Beware guys !!!.Update : 09/03/2021:I have taken it to the nearest Lexus dealer (Pleasanton,CA), and even they are surprised that how the Lexus Fremont sold the car without any tool in it. They have given me just the wheel lock key and I paid for that and asked me contact the Lexus Fremont to get other tools in the car.

This time service was really poor, I think curve i going down if I compare the last 3 visits. Dropped the car at 10am and told them I will wait. This was for oil change only. After texting for un update, got update it is done and car wash was in progress. Then waited till 2.30 to get the car! This is sad to get this kind of services for the premium pay.

I got my first car here, and Fred helped me out with the process! Fred was very nice and professional with the process. He wouldnt pressure me to do anything, no hidden fees, and answered my questions deliberately. He was very patient with me to decide since I was in the middle of Lexus or BMW and spent some time thinking. I would really recommend Fred! I didnt like his manager who looked a little grumpy though, but overall everyone was kind here!

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DEARER!!! This dealer is very CARELESS. Justin Plude is my service person and he put the odometer wrong on my LX570 (almost DOUBLED what I actually have on my car). I went to the service with 37k actual miles on the vehicle doing a 40K service. When they send the invoice, it shows the odometer reading of 71823 miles. I brought the invoice in right away told him the mileage was wrong, and he said nothing he could do since I already paid and the invoice had closed. He also promised me he would fix it by sending Lexus an email. At that point which I totally understand mistake happens and that is why I left. A months later today after I called at least 10 times, left more than 10 voice messages to Justin Plude as well as the service manager, the mistake is still shows on my Lexus Owner website, it also probably on CARFAX as well. So I called the Lexus Customer Service to hopefully resolve this soon.

I came here wanting a used Lexus (ES 330) that was listed at their website unfortunately they can’t sell the vehicle since it has safety issue. David showed me another vehicle and explained the vehicle (Camry) was we’ll maintained by the owner. David and the guys here made my shopping experience one of the best. Literally the best experience wether you’re buying a four thousand dollar or eight thousand dollar vehicle. Also their GM paid for my registration! I am really failing to see how this got such high rating of service. On the day of the purchase, the salesperson was actually trying to talk to multiple customers. My mom was actually in a rush because she is a nurse and her unit has been really short staffed. We explained that to him but I still see him dragging his feet and talking to another customer…. It felt really under impressive and kinda what the stereotypical car salesperson would be. Because my mom was in a rush, my god mother who was also there helped her drive the car back instead. Once we got back, we noticed that the car mats were not inside. Then that took another few days of back and forth to get new car mats delivered to our house. A month later, I’m having this awesome time right now playing cat and mouse with finding where my metal plates are. I asked the DMV who told me that the dealership would have it since it’s a used car. I asked my salesperson and was told that he can reach out to the business office. Then a day later when I followed up, I was told i can call myself…. Yikes… so which one is it?The car is actually pretty nice. But the overall experience has been far from what I see what other reviewers have said. I’m just a bit confused. I thought buying a car would be this joyous occasion, not the multitude of follow ups like this….

I had a very pleasant experience at this dealership. The premises were very welcoming and clean. Dewey the sales agent was very understanding of my situation and friendly. He stayed in touch with me prior to the meeting we planned to see the vehicle I was interested in. He sent me all the info about the car before I got to the dealership. Danny and Gabe from the financial department were very helpful in explaining the little details involving the financing of the car I bought. All in all I was very impressed and would recommend Lexus of Freemont to all my friends and family, whether it is a new car or looking for a preowned car, this is definitely the place to go.

Certified car. Came in for 60k service and the service advisor claimed the spark plugs wasn’t included. We left after service was done and decided to contact corporate to see if that was actually true. Corporate said to contact the service manager so we did. Turns out it should have been included. Wow. So then I had to go back just for the spark plugs that should have been done. Mind you I live about 40 mins away. Manager said he could happily provide pick up and drop off service and a loaner vehicle. Nice. But who’s paying for the gas when they take my car ultimately? Me. Who’s paying for the loaner vehicle gas? Me. All of this could have been avoided if the service advisor knew what he was doing.

My car has a huge scratch that runs under the entire drivers side back door. It wasn’t there when I dropped off my car on Monday.The reps didn’t make any notes that vehicle had marks or scratches when car was taken in.Now reps claim scratch was there. That’s a lie!!I just bought brand new car on may 14th, 2021.This is horrible. Never going back to Fremont Lexus

The visit a week ago was the last straw and I would never go back there again. I had been taking my both Lexus to Fremont for as long as I had them (12 years). Each time I always felt those service advisors were tying very hard to sell me expensive service that are not recommended by the car service manual. The latest service advisor (more like a sales advisor to me) I encountered told me the tires of my car need to be replaced and he said Lexus will offer price match if I found the tires somewhere cheaper. Later I did find Americas Tire offered better prices but he argued Lexus offers tire alignment ($100value) the other didnt. I went ahead and was given a loaner car. I was a bit perplexed why did I need a loaner car just for the basic service and tire replacement. I left the car in the morning and I didnt get the call from the Lexus service advisor till 6pm that day after I tried to call him several times inquiring the status of my car. He told me a technician has been assigned to my car for the next day to work on the car and didnt explain to me if they did anything at all on the first day. Then on the second day I received no phone call at all from them. The third day I got a call from another service advisor telling me in the process of tire alignment they found dent on my suspension so they could only perform as best as they could for the job and suggested to replace the suspension and other parts needed to be fixed ($$$). A simple tire change evolved into more repairs needed. I just told her no, no, and no for any repairs she suggested. To conclude, there should be a red flag when they give you a loaner car for a basic service and tire changes. The end of the story.

I am very grateful for the extraordinary service Lexus provided me recently. Months ago there was a recall of certain passenger side airbags. I brought in my SC430 for the exchange. No problem. Then a few weeks ago, I was notified that Lexus wanted to inspect the vehicle to ensure that the brackets had been installed properly. Although Lexus would provide a rental vehicle in the interim at no cost, I was hesitant to take in the car because of distancing issues due to the pandemic. I also wanted more detail on the service that was necessary. I need not have worried. Carmen had the service manager call me to fully explain the proposed work. She then arranged for my car to be picked up at my home by Ron. She returned the car personally and safely after service. It turns out that the brackets had been installed properly and, above and beyond the call of duty, the car had been washed and filled with gas. Very nice!

I brought our 2019 ES 350 into Lexus of Fremont because of a “maintenance needed” message on the dash. Turned out it simply needed its 10K mile service, and the staff got right to work. My service advisor, Yvonne A., was helpful in looking up the car’s history and taking care of a documentation issue about our car’s service plan.In and out in about three hours, I expect they’ll see us back in the future.

I brought in the car to Fremont Lexus for a simple windshield replacement., it suppose to be a one day job; if turn out Lexus took a week to replace the windshield. I believe Lexus even charge me for the loaner for a week. The price from original code from 2K increase to 2,480 for a windshield.

If your looking for a great deal and great customer service, Lexus of Fremont is the place to go. I had a great buying experience. Didn’t feel any pressure, test drove the car I wanted, and Fred is the guy to talk to. Went to a few dealerships in the area and outside the Bay Area and got the best deal here and got everything that was promised. Will definitely be recommending family and friends to this dealership.

Two massage chairs in the lounge are dirty and broken and the room has no air conditioning.Disappointed of waiting in the waiting room for 45 minutes after rushed to sign the invoice, and seeing my car outside without approaching me that my car was ready.I understand that my advisor was busy and overload with work that day. Manager has to check or help their employees. I used to like Fremont service but, had gone down, in my experience.

İt is unfortunate to give that review, İ hope management addresses the issues and it gets better in near future.İ brought my vehicle here for some noise issue after unsuccessful attempts to get it diagnosed in many other dealerships.What was good:TL;DR: some people are nice there and they might at least look at your problem.1. Yvonne was nice and communicated clearly.2. People in the parts department are nice.3.. They at least tried to somehow diagnose the issue in the vehicle.What needs improvement:TL;DR: Very chaotic management out there, waiting times are long and they forget things a lot. They might forget to put parts back or forget to update you on important milestones. People seam a bit careless and not compassionate.0. When İ visited first time İ had an appointment, but when İ arrived no service manager actually walked up to me and İ ended up waiting like for half an hour or 40 mins (it was a pretty long wait). The worst thing is that they sent me back by saying that no technician was available that day. Please remove online appointment booking option if you are not able to confirm that service will be provided that day ( there were neither able to confirm the existence of the appointment). Finally İ came the next day and was assigned to Yvonne.1. İ ended up waiting for my vehicle for about a week, because they forgot to give me an update. From my observation from the Lexus app the maintenance was finished way earlier before that time ( like for several days the car was just parked). İf İ didnt call the service manager İ would probably wait for longer.2. They did shallow work, did not really investigate the issue properly, and İ still have the noise. i.e issue was not resolved. One of the summary statements was like it was hard hear anything properly because of the normal leather to plastic rubbing noise. This is very disappointing because the solution to that additional noises would be just regulating the recline position of the back seat a little bit.3. Not only they didnt fix the issue , but also lost a part in the door handle, while closing it back. When İ was finally picking up the vehicle, they forgot to put a cover on internal door handle which they opened. When İ complained they mentioned that İ could buy one? What?Good thing is they were finally able to order a new one for me which İ am waiting now to arrive...However initially they kind of did not care about it and just asked me to call the manager who was out that day. İ also waited for that advice for a significant time ( like 20 mins at least )4. They do not take any responsibility for damages during car wash. That does not make any sense to me. Also it didnt feel like my car was washed properly.5. Everyone out there was so busy, and it is hard to get any attention.İ cannot speak for the dealership in general, but the service department needs serious improvements regarding the organization of the work process and their attitude to clients.

I was interested in purchasing a car but the associates are so flaky. You try to reach someone and they say they will get back to you but wont. Hard to make an out of state purchases especially when you use your own bank for financing. Would not give me a sales agreement without coming in person. Well it is not my loss but they can work on customer service.

What makes the service center stand out are their service advisors. Yvonne and Vener are A-plus. They’ve provided me with clear information about the work that’s going to be done with my car and take the time to keep me updated with the status. And when I pick up my car, it’s newly washed. I like that.
