I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PRATICE AT ALL!! I was going thru some hard times and just needed someone to talk to and was looking for coping techniques to deal with stress. I went thru 5 counselors( mostly because they were all quitting and retiring) and the worst advice I kept getting was go check myself into a hospital. Mind you Im not suicidal and they knew that and only reccomended it because they SPECIFICALLY CANNOT GIVE ADVICE!!The director contacted me and informed me that its not their job to help people but only listen!!Its a scam

This is a first rate provider of mental health services that is actually affordable. The social workers are compassionate but tough. The psychiatrists are good listeners, too.

I have been a patient of CPC having my sessions with Pat Smith for over 3 yrs now. Pat is exceptional in her field . She is Very informative, professional and perceptive. Pat has helped me through some trying times and I credit her with giving me the ability to endure and persevere.Thank you Pat

Place is great. I look at these reviews and am confused. Compared to New Hope, or surrounding programs, this place is the standard. Great doctors, they help you with transportation.

This place is great Gina and Alexa they really helped me out a lot they do more then they should for the clients And all the interns are really nice and open they are also great to talk to if it wasn’t for cpc I wouldn’t been where I am now thank you so much you all are awesome

I have been in need of a psychiatrist for over a year. Due to my insurance it has been very difficult to find an office that accepts me as a new patient and will take me soon. I finally was able to get an appointment and had it scheduled. I called two days prior to my scheduled appt and spoke to Erika on the phone. I explained that I started a new position, and I would need to reschedule my appt, and her response was “I am going to have to call you back and let you know when there is an available slot. You will hear from me tonight or tomorrow.” This was yesterday. Mind you, I never said to cancel my appt. I would NEVER cancel unless I had a rescheduled date. Erika NEVER called me. And I was never given another date. So I called this evening. And she canceled my appointment. And now the next available appointment is in March. I have already waited an entire year. This is for a psychiatry evaluation as a first time patient. And because I was so upset on the phone, she tells me to RELAX and let her speak?! Are you kidding me? She didn’t even ask why I was being seen or what I was being seen for. And you think it’s ok to tell an upset psychiatric patient to RELAX?!That was inappropriate and unprofessional. And that is not the kind of help that I’m looking for in a mental health facility. Your office is a disgrace to have such incompetent people answering the phones.

I am totally shocked by some the negative reviews Ive read. They cant possibly be referring to the clinicians and office coordinator I have worked with, on and off, over the past several years.In fact, Ive been so grateful for all of the support Ive received, that Ive recommended CPC services to just about everyone I know. And, each and everyone of these people that ended up going to CPC, has thanked me repeatedly. My medication has been monitored very professionally and with my total understanding and support!Pat Smith, Program Coordinator and my Counselor, has helped me weather some very diffucult storms that most of us tend to face: divorce, a series of famiy deaths, moving and dealing with the emotional part of autoimmune Illnesses. I am extremely grateful and more than satisfied with the services I receive there.Also, CPC in Freehold is now offering an amazing pharmacy ordering, bubble packaging of dialy meds, and mail-order service that makes the entire process so easy! I will avail myself of this service as well.

Actually, the only reason why I gave them one star is because zero wasn’t an option. I called to help a friend set up an appointment and once the initial person passed us over to Freehold I gave the phone to my friend. The employee/receptionist or scheduler (not sure of her position)was very insensitive and rude to the person seeking help. I would not recommend using this organization. If a person is having mental health problems and seeking help the last thing they need is an non-empathetic person condescendingly talking to them in a gruff tone. This is totally unacceptable behavior for any mental health provider.

I don’t know where to begin about the supervisor who is in charge of the center in freehold New Jersey. She is an absolute nightmare I almost died because of her. I was on Xanax for many years and she told my doctor fang to stop me suddenly. I ended up hospitalized and had a breakdown from not being weaned off the way it supposed to be medically. It’s unheard of that any one in charge of a medical office would be this way and risk someone’s life. It happened again today. My insurance company decided not to cover a medication so they asked to do a generic. I was told I couldn’t have an appointment for two weeks and I should leave the supervisor message. I left her a message and never heard back from her. She knew I was out of my medication to sleep. I was shocked when I never heard back from her because I am not be able to sleep without it. I was so sick the last time with the Xanax that I never reported this. I will get in touch with officials about how this place is run. Every couple of months you have new doctors every couple of months. My last Dr Pauljust left & going forward no one will be seeing a psychiatrist. Instead.you will be meeting with a social worker .Stay far away from this place the will make you sick.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for a cat. They broke confidentiality and 90% of the staff were condescending, arrogant, ignorant with the compassion equal to Hannibal Lecter. I am writing this review hoping to help someone who is in need of help to reconsider going to this low quality shoe maker factory. I’ve seen a different Dr every time I went there. I have a bad memory so I recorded every 5 minute visit with the Dr and they sell you a dream and the next visit they said they never said what they said. The staff then speaks to you with the most condescending attitude I have ever experienced; I will admit that It was ignorant of me to continue going back. If you are in need of help for any mental issues I would suggest going to a veterinarian or perhaps the cashier at Wawa. God bless and good luck

They do make errors but in a lot of ways they are ok .You can request your records for a fee.
