Our 7 year old really enjoys this and gets a lot out of it. Good exercise and discipline for him but also fun. Instructors are all very positive and helpful.

My child is 3, just about 4 and while that is young for a typical martial arts school, not this one. Sensei Bob and his staff and their program for his age group is amazing (and an amazing value). The children get and education, get some energy out, and learn some martial arts. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend this school for the youth program. I could go on and say more, but no need, just give it a try!

The best money I spend all week. I always look forward to these classes. I feel so much more confident in myself and Sensei Bobs approach to teaching is concise and easy to understand. The hour flies just flies by, but I always leave feeling empowered.

Im taking the Sunday 8:30 am Tai Chi and the Thursday 7:30 pm Counterstrike Krav Maga classes. Instructors are engaging and personable, making it easy to ask questions. As a beginner I definitely feel challenged and encouraged to work outside my typical comfort zone to achieve better results. I really like the class size and not feeling like a number. The class has built a rapport among ourselves. Overall, I am happy I joined and look forward to improve my skill set.

The Krav Maga class is awesome. Learn the real deal Krav; no belts, just defense and offense Israeli style! Mike’s teaching method is straight forward, yet personable with a sense of humor. I love learning something new each week, while reviewing and strengthening past techniques. The camaraderie is wonderful with everyone supporting each other.

My daughter started with Synergy Martial Arts right after she turned seven and now she is 13 with a brown belt. When we started, my wife and I werent sure how things would turn out since we had our daughter in soccer and that was a disaster because she was completely unfocused. When our daughter started with Synergy, Sensei Linda and Sensei Bob were able to get her to finally focus on what she was doing. And with each belt, she matured more and more, to where now she helps instruct the class. She is also on their Demo Team, giving demonstrations at assisted living centers for senior citizens and other places.Sensei Bob has said that the karate school was a microcosm of the real world. And I think that is true. If you perform well, they let you know, and you advance. If you dont perform well, you dont automatically advance, but you are helped to improve. In soccer, my daughter got participation trophies for essentially nothing. She played with dolls and picked flowers for most of the games. At Synergy, she has had to earn each belt and has gotten true satisfaction from it.Synergy has also given my daughter the ability to defend herself. There have already been several occasions where she had to use some techniques on kids who were physically bothering her. Needless to say, that stopped.I do think it was helpful for my daughter that Sensei Linda was there as an instructor because it made her more comfortable as a girl doing karate.I attend Sensei Bobs weekly Krav Maga class because I am interested in self-defense and not being helpless if a bad situation arises. I travel a lot for work and Sensei Bob is able to accommodate my schedule. So after almost seven years of knowing Sensei Linda and Sensei Bob, I can wholeheartedly recommend Synergy Martial Arts.

Synergy Martial Arts is so far the best Karate place we have been taking classes at. The Sanseis are extremally knowledgeable about everything they teach. They dont kill time during the classes and sincerely want you to learn self defense. They demand discipline and focus and there is no place for nonsense. I highly recommend them, as an adult who actively takes classes and also a parent whos children are also actively involved in learning Karate. You cant go wrong with Synergy. The only way is the way up towards the success:). Good Luck!!!

I took my boys to learn Krav Maga and ended up taking the class myself, we liked it so much that the following week I brought my girlfriend and her son. We all absolutely LOVE the class & we are learning to defend ourselves in very difficult situations. Everyone at every age should be taking this class. It has also been a great bonding experience for my family! We love sensi Bob & sensi Lind, they are great teachers!

I just have to start by saying first and foremost my experience with Synergy was superb. The quality of the classes and discipline that they teach the kids here is very impressive. I had my 5 yr old daughter enrolled in karate classes at Synergy and Sensei Bob as well as Sensei Linda were amazing with her. They welcomed my family as part of the Synergy fam. I have to also make you aware that my daughter has never heard of or tried karate before this experience so it was very new to her. She is a “girly” girl. She’s into ballet and gymnastics. I wanted to try karate before any other class because my daughter was getting bullied at school. Yes, I know. Unfortunately, it starts at a very young age. She would come home crying and I didn’t know how to handle the situation because being that she is my first child it was new to me too. I researched different ways I could approach the bullying with my daughter and the things that came up were the discipline and skills that can be taught through karate promoting self-confidence/ self-defense and the ability to also overcome bullying. I was ecstatic to find Synergy being that they were also highly rated. After reading the reviews I decided to sign my daughter up for karate. My daughter was open to it at the time. She started her first class and was super excited. She loved it so much. I guess she started telling kids at her school she started karate and they were mentioning to her some were in ballet and gymnastics which is what she wanted to do. So then she just didn’t want to do karate anymore after a couple of classes because she said it wasn’t “girly”. I was starting to get a feeling that she felt we were forcing her to do karate and that’s something I would never want my child is to feel obligated to do something. I just wanted to help her get through the bullying at school. So then I spoke with Sensei Linda and she did mention she didn’t want my daughter feeling forced to come there and that they were sad to see her go. I never once felt obligated or committed to something at Synergy. They don’t make you feel like that which is awesome. They understand kids are kids and it’s ultimately what the child wants to do. They loved her and she loved them. I loved how well the classes were organized, the reasonable prices, everything about them. I also was excited for the Halloween activities they do for the kids because my daughter loves doing activities like that but we will be missing it because she is no longer going there. My point is I recommend you go here if you are looking for a judge free zone. If your child is being bullied or you want to instill discipline in them or you want to build their self confidence. This is the place to go. My daughter is just so caught up in her girly ways. I hope to be back once she gets a little older and understands that she could’ve done both. But she’s too young and feels as if karate is only for boys. I don’t get it. There’s other girls there too. I rarely review anything unless I had an amazing experience or a truly horrible one. I don’t have time to do reviews like that but I had to do it for Synergy because they were so accommodating with everything for me and my family and truly worked on transitioning my daughter to step out of her comfort zone. Thank you Sensei Bob and Sensei Linda for such a wonderful experience.
