Stay away from this place if you dont want to be ripped off. I brought my lawn tractor in in January and was told it should be about 2 weeks. I was finally contacted in March to tell me that they had to clean the deck to make repairs which should be normal for a lawn tractor. Then they said my exhaust was falling off and my valve cover was leaking. I had no exhaust problems or leaks prior to binging it to them. I asked them to just change the belt and nothing else. When I got it back I did the maintenance myself. I found a bolt out of the exhaust line other bolts around the engine loose and the belt was never changed. So they charged me $142 to wreck my mower.

Had a warranty covered issue with my push lawn mower. The staff was friendly and communicated wonderfully from my drop off to diagnosis to pick up. Thank you!

Daughter purchased the zero turn 3000 mower. Prior to purchase we spent quite some time with Toms son and was not rushed and we felt very Comfortable with all questions that were answered and more information was conveyed stewards of the purchase we daughter. Great people. Super reliable.I bought a snowblower here about 5 years ago and have had other power equipment serviced here. They always give great advice and are very reliable and easy to work with. When they schedule a pickup or return of a machine thats too big for me to bring in, they always show up when promised.Their repairs are perfect and they have given me excellent advice and suggestions for operating and maintaining my equipment.You might save a tiny bit at a big box store, but you wont get the quality or service that youll get here.

Today I purchased an Echo PB-770H from Bargs and the experience was pleasurable! I called for a quote and they cordially offered a price below msrp. Upon arriving, I was created by all the employees. The gentleman gladly displayed the blower, gassed it, and started the blower. He demonstrated the starting procedure. The reason I wanted to shop there is because they have a very good reputation for their service! Now, I have peace of mind for the next 5 years that they will service the blower if need be. Another great thing about Bargs is that they are an authorized seller if several of the best brands, so you can compare models. If you live in Monmouth County and need lawn equipment, give Bargs a shot. I hope your experience will be as pleasurable as mine!

I never expected to write a review of a shop like Bargs, but I had a really amazing experience there and wanted to share. My block of 10 houses lost power in the middle of an outage affecting over 200,000 people. As most of my neighborhood was fine and I am experienced with the less than stellar service JCPL provides with respect to service restoration, I knew I was in for the long haul, so I dusted off the generator I bought 7 years ago for sandy, and fairly unsurprisingly it didn’t start. I found Bargs online, called, and they told me (in the nicest way possible) they could look at it, but no promises. I brought the generator over, put down a deposit, and joined the throngs of customers waiting to have their generators and chainsaws serviced. I was hoping to get it back in 3 or 4 days. Within two hours, I got a call from them that everything was done. I then expected to pay a few hundred bucks ransom to get it back. Nope, $42 and I was on my way after they helped me load the beast into my car. My ice cream didn’t even have a chance to melt :-). I can say with absolute confidence that Bargs will get all future power tool business, new or repair from me and my family, and I will enthusiastically recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks to the Bargs staff!

Very disappointed in the service. I brought a small gasoline powered washer in for service. Told the mechanic and the girl at the desk that the engine was not running for a few years so when tuning it and getting it running if it looks like it would require other repairs call me. I received a call that the washer was serviced for $38. I thought a little high for a spark plug and new oil. As it turns out he ran the engine without changing oil and plug.I could have done that but didnt because the oil was a few years old. I was then advised that to change the oil and 1 plug would be another $30 plus tax for a tuneup. I wasnt born yesterday, at 71 I know poor service and I know when im being taken advantage of. As a result I declined the $30 tuneup which should have been done to start.

I would highly recommend going here for any of your lawn and garden purchases/repairs in the future. The staff was very pleasant and friendly, along with being very knowledgable about what they offer at the store. I was in the market for a new chainsaw due to old one dying, and i had been shopping around. Bargs had some great deals in Stihl chainsaws and had what i was looking for in stock. I dealt with Pete through the whole process of selecting the right saw for my needs and he was very willing and knowledgable to any and all questions I had. I ended up leaving with a brand new Stihl 25 chainsaw for a great deal. The whole experience was great and I will definitely be going there from now on.
