My mom’s hearing aid had broken and they fixed it and dropped it off to her!They had us come in to check fit and function, gave her a comprehensive audiology assessment, and showed her the major technology upgrades that would improve her hearing.She decided to upgrade and they were so helpful: checking the fit and function and answering all her questions. Great experience ! My hearing aid malfunctioned and my original hearing specialist had retired. His replacement was not as nice and I didn’t feel comfortable with the new doctor. I was recently recommended to Sound Hearing Solutions in Freehold. My first visit was quite impressive. The place is immaculate and I was treated very professional by Ali. He was friendly, polite, great sense of humor and made me feel very comfortable. The consultation and the testing was beyond expectations. He showed me everything and explained it all to me. He answered all my questions and I had many which he went over until I felt comfortable knowing how to use and care for my hearing aids. He recommended the correct size for me and made sure I knew how to put them in correctly. I have been with Sound Hearing Solutions for more than eight years. I found Ali very friendly, highly competent, he explains everything he does as he adjusts the hearing aids. I searched for three years and saw at least four audiologists with doctor degrees in audiology, but none of them was able to fit me with proper hearing aids. One of them told me that I was one of those who cannot use hearing aids. I was very disappointed. While I was driving home I saw his office. Ali fitted me with a new pair of hearing aids and I was amazed how well I could hear.I recommend him highly.

I called this doctor’s office in the morning and was seen later that afternoon after describing my young adult daughter’s hearing loss concerns. I cannot recommend Sound Hearing Solutions and Ali Jaffari more. My parents and I have been so impressed by their personal level of service at a difficult time for our family. My 85-year-old father recently suffered a stroke and needed to replace one of his hearing aids. We found Sound Hearing here on Yelp, were able to quickly make an appointment, and made the thirty plus minute ride to the Freehold office. Ali conducted a thorough hearing exam for my father in spite of his challenged attention and health. A loaner hearing aid was provided overnight to give my father a sense of a different hearing aid format (which he wound up not liking). Then when my fathers customized hearing aid was delivered, Ali personally delivered it to my parents home and adjusted it right there in their kitchen (which was a big deal to my parents). But what really set Ali and Sound Hearing apart is they showed an almost unbelievable level of patience, consideration, and flat out loving care. You dont see customer care like this near often enough.

We have been going to Ali for many years for my husband who has progressive hearing loss . Ali provides such a good service that we keep going back to him even though we have to travel almost an hour each way .

If you want an awesome audiologist, go to Sound Hearing Solutions.My hearing aids stopped working. When the audiologist I purchased them from offered no support, I called the manufacturer (Oticon) and they couldnt have been nicer at helping me, and gave me the name of several authorized audiologists to contact. After contacting each one, I found that since I did not purchase the hearing aids from them, they all (except Sound Hearing Solutions) wanted to charge me for a hearing test and then a separate charge to program the replacement aids. When I called Sound Hearing Solutions and explained my situation, I was connected to Mr. Ali Jaffari. He told me to come right down.He was the only one that was more concerned about my hearing then about charging me for each ithey care more about people than money.Update: I have purchased new hearing aids since my last review from Sound Hearing Solutions. They are the latest technology with features my old hearing aids did not have- I hear more clearly and these upgraded Oticon hearing aids cost less than the old ones cost from a different supplier.Ali Jaffari of Sound Hearing Solutions is a caring professional who makes people’s ability to hear a priority.
