I originally reached out to Bobs pools and spas via their website on 7/29/20 I was contacted back the very next day by Bob himself. That same afternoon I visited his store to order a pool liner. They nicely told me 1 1/2 - 2 weeks had me pick out my liner and told me they could install my liner shortly after delivery. I wrote a check for $2200 as a down payment and that check was cashed the very next day.1 1/2 weeks later I called to check on the status of my liner. I was told by Bob himself that it would definitely be here by the next weekThe following week called again to check the status of my liner based on what I had been told and Bob tells me “I don’t know I’ll have to call them and call you back”. 10 minutes later I received a call from Linda who states that Bob checked with them and it would definitely be in the following week. I called them on Tuesday to again check the status of the liner only to be told yet again by Bob “I don’t know I’ll have to call them and call you back”. At this point I told Bob that I was very concerned because the time frame isn’t what he originally told me. He becomes very rude and says “I don’t know it’s not my fault they are having production issues and I’m having trouble with my help”. I then say but you never told me any of this even though I have checked on the status multiple times. He says again very rudely “I’ll call them and call you back” and hangs up on me.1 1/2 hours later no call so I called them back and got Linda on the phone who was just as rude stated that basically none of this was their fault and they would order my liner and I could find someone else to install it? What the hell? No my agreement was to buy the liner and have you install it.I discussed becoming a customer that would use them for all of my services talked to them about sealing and painting my concrete pool deck and patio. Oh they were so nice andpleasant during that whole process and while they were taking my $2200! But rather just being honest and decent human beings they continued to lie. I guess they hoped I would just wait quietly for an undetermined amount of time?The moral of this story is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They were not honest with me at all and then when I dared to question them they got very nasty as if I had done something wrong. They shouldn’t treat customers in this manner but most importantly they should just be upfront honest decent people!I did get a full refund of my money however I lost 3 weeks of valuable time that could have been spent with a more reputable company!Things like this make it really difficult to have faith in people and business. You would think a man Bobs age would take pride in his business and customer service a little more.Shame on you Bob and Linda!

MY EXPERIENCE STARTED OUT VERY POSITIVE WHEN I WAS GIVING THEM $2200 OF MY MONEY TO ORDER A NEW POOL LINER. THEY HAPPILY TOOK MY MONEY AND TOLD ME MY LINER WOULD BE DELIVERED IN 1 1/2 WEEK - 2 WEEKS. NEEDLESS TO SAY ON THE 3RD WEEK MY LINER WAS STILL NOT DELIVERED AND FRANKLY I AM NOT EVEN SURE IT WAS EVER ORDERED? ALTHOUGH THEY GAVE ME THEIR WORD THAT THEY WOULD HAVE IT INSTALLED BEFORE 8/28/20 AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS AND 1 VISIT TO THE STORE I NEVER RECEIVED MY LINER AND WAS TREATED RUDELY BY BOTH BOB AND LINDA. I THINK THEY THOUGHT I HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG? ALL I DID WRONG WAS TRUST THEIR WORD BUT THEN HEARD NOTHING BUT EXCUSES AND WAS ACTUALLY HUNG UP ON ONCE WHEN I DARED TO QUESTION THE TIME LINE. REMEMBER THEY GAVE ME THE TIME LINE AND NEVER ONCE TOLD ME THAT THERE WERE ANY ISSUES UNTIL 3 WEEKS HAD GONE BY. I DID ULTIMATELY GET MY MONEY RETURNED BUT STILL I WASTED 3 WEEKS OF MY TIME THAT I COULD HAVE USED TO FIND ANOTHER MORE REPUTABLE COMPANY THAT WOULD HAVE VALUED ME AS A CUSTOMER AND WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN RUDE WHEN THEY COULDNT DO WHAT THEY ASSURED ME THEY COULD DO. I DID QUESTION THEM MULTIPLE TIMES ABOUT THE TIMELINE BEFORE I GAVE THEM MY CHECK. AT BOBS AGE YOU WOULD THINK THAT HE WOULD HAVE MORE TRADITIONAL VALUES THAT STRIVE FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THAT JUST FROM A HUMAN PERSPECTIVE WOULD NOT TREAT CUSTOMERS GIVING THEM THOUSANDS OF $$ IN THE MANNER IN WHICH I WAS TREATED. MY ADVICE, FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO DEAL WITH, IT MAY START OFF WONDERFULLY BUT ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY ITS ANOTHER STORY! SHAME ON YOU BOTH BOB AND LINDA!!! P.S. THEY ONLY GOT 1 STAR BECAUSE IT FORCES YOU TO CHOSE ONE, BUT THEY GET NO STARS FROM ME!

Bob, himself, came out to do a pool inspection for my clients at their new home! He made it out on super short notice and was incredibly helpful! My clients will be calling him in a few weeks to help them winterize for their first time as pool owners! Will use Bob again for sure!!!!

I was lucky to find Bobs Pool and Spa summer of 2015. My above ground pool, that was 20 years old, was rusting. Bob and his employees came out and rebuilt my pool and replaced the liner in a short period of time and at a very reasonable price. Bob opens and closes my pool each year. He is very knowledgeable about pools and spas. I bought a spa from him a year ago. If I have any questions about the pool or spa, I either give him a call or stop by the store. He and his employees are extremely friendly, a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend Bobs Pool and Spa to all that enjoy swimming and relaxing outside.

They will save your pool!!

I have had Bobs Pools & Spas open and close, and service my inground pool, of 35,000 gallons since 2010. I am very pleased with their service. Bob explained more to me about how to take care of my pool than the company who built it for us! Bob is always very helpful. He and his workers are always very courteous and clean up after themselves. If they are going to be late, they call me as soon as they can to let me know they will be late.I highly recommend Bobs Pools & Spas

Bob has taken care of our pool since we built our house 20 years ago. He and his company have always been there for us and are very responsive, knowledgeable and most importantly trustworthy. Every pool is different and they all have issues of some kind eventually. Bob takes the time to explain clearly what the potential issues are when we have had problems and will even check on our pool periodically when hes in the area working with another customer. We highly recommend him!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE, unless you want to deal with slow response times, broken promises, incompetent technicians, incomplete job performance, incorrect installation, breakage of existing drainage systems, sheer irresponsibility, absolute disrespect, and moronic lack of understanding of why you might be upset. These idiots replaced our liner in our Fantasy above ground pool. Had we simply read the basic directions in our owner manual, wed have known more than they did and would have saved ourselves half a summer of not being able to use our pool. They ripped the old liner out and threw it in the yard, left it for us to discard. They installed the new liner with seams not aligned, wrinkles in the bottom and sides, and corners coming out of the bead line, then cut in the returns with no water in the pool, The entire liner started coming loose within a day. The final blow was they disconnected the sump pump pvc line from my dry basement drainage system which now has the drainage creating a puddle under my pool deck. I dont usually wish ill for others, and Im sure the owner of this company has more problems than he can handle. But in this instance, he needs to go out of business as he is providing nothing but aggravation and frustration and zero or negative value. Google required at least 1 star to post, but they deserve no stars. STAY AWAY!!!!!

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!! I put money down on a pool liner in March and they waited until May to tell me they forgot to order it.
