One older asian lady cutting guys hair very slowly and 5 ppl waiting with 3 more walking in. They may cut good hair according to other reviews but I walked out after 5 minutes as people just kept coming in. It would take hours for 1 person to cut that many guys at her pace. Could have at least turned on the a/c. 👎

I am very impressed with this barbershop. I have had my haircut many places over the years being military and no one has come close to the service professional level that this shop has accomplished. I’m very happy they used a straight razor and not just cutting equipment to go with a zero fade. If you are looking for a barber shop in Fredericksburg that is not only good value but very high-quality this is definitely the place to go.

Amazing Service. Took my 14 month old son for his first cut and even with him crying and wiggling (and me being upset about his first cut) Van got him looking handsome and did an amazing job. Definitely recommend to all the men of all ages in your life ❤

Pre-COVID-19 this was a great place for a haircut. It still is, but it was better. I just had my last haircut here and was a customer for two years. I figured it was time for me to leave a review. I usually brought a photo of what I wanted and the ladies did a great job of recreating it. Nothing crazy, though. Don’t be like me, learn the clipper lengths and you’ll be good. I’m gonna miss going here so I might pop back in occasionally. Definitely recommend it.

The lady Kaitlyn cut my sons hair beautifully with a straight razor i will be going back she did it quick and on point no barber has been able to please me when it comes to my sons hair she was amazing and very comfortable and good with him

They did a great job with my fade, but my beard was completely ruined. I wear glasses, so I couldnt monitor what they were doing. I wanted a trim, and they buzzed my beard down to a 1/4 inch.

I have been coming to Park Barber for years. I pass several shops while traveling the 10 miles to get to Park Barber. I have tried a few others in an attempt to cut time off the travel. Each time (twice) I returned back to get my hair cut here. The haircut is consistently good, the staff is very friendly, and the price is good. With the changes since COVID, appts are necessary, but available. The equipment and chair is cleaned between clients. I look forward to each haircut.

Guess what I lived in dahlgren which is 45-50 mins away so I called them around 1655 asking them if they still have spot for me. By the time I get here which was 1720. They just closed literally the moment I finished parking my car. FYI the sign mentioned they supposed to close at 1800.

They spend a lot of time making sure I am satisfied with my haircut. Hot towel and straight razor are a nice touch. Been there 3 times and happy with my experience every time.

They all listen and take there time with you to make sure you get best haircut or shave or skin tight haircut or even a trim they pay attention the small details which is a massive plus plus to anyone getting a shave trim or any haircut or even militry hairstyle. My dad went for a haircut and shave while waiting for my family’s yearly pictures at portrait innovation and he said it was one of the best he has had in a very long time !! You just don’t find barbers like this place any more we are from Culpeper Va and he said it is well worth the 45 min drive to go to this location! Great haircut to say the least. I lived in South East Asia for some time and have been all over the region. Park Barber Shop is just like over there. Very fast, great, and cheap cuts done exactly the way you want. They give complementary head massages with every cut. They offer shaves, beard trims, and much more.

I travel extensively for work and typically get my haircut on the road in various states; never home long enough to have it done here at home. Well that was different this time, and after 2 years I will not go anywhere else and will wait a little longer between each cut. Very friendly and professional atmosphere. I may have a shave next time for the experience, although I already use a straight blade. Thank You and I look forward to visiting more often!!!

Strait razor for a zero on the sides. Clean fade into scissors length on top for 14 dollars. Good first impressions for quality of work. Open later than most places on Sunday.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the way this haircut experience went!! Not only was my son (who cried for at least 10 mins prior to going in) laughing and cooperative - but she was so nice and only had two glances at the pic I wanted and she did it perfectly!!! So so so pleased and I will be back.

These ladies do a wonderful cut. I keep a flat top, and they do it great. Hot towel, shave cut on the side, massage, and they never forget to trim eyebrows.

I asked for a slight trim on top and my stylist proceeded to cut off more than half of that hair... and accentuate a receding spot in my hairline. I had a feeling itd be a bad cut the second I sat down and noticed a photo of a bowl cut on the wall across from me. at the end I was given a very uncomfortable and lengthy head message and hot towel but the towel wasnt even used to try to get the cut hairs that were on my scalp.less is more with a haircut. get the approval of the persons hair youre cutting before you chop off a ridiculous amount. that should be cutting hair 101.

I like the place for its consistency, the use of a straight edge for the back of your neck, hot towel, and a quick scalp massage. Feels like a trip to Oki, (Though the owner is Vietnamese). The owner is very nice and customer oriented. I have been going there for 4 years now. I got one bad haircut from a new employee. She noticed before I did, sat me down in the chair and fixed it, then that haircut was free as was the next one. Everyone makes mistakes, it is crazy to expect perfection, but that is why I like this place. The owner is always there and she cares about her customers.

Kind of a mom and pop style barbershop with very friendly ladies working there. Very capable of a great military cut

I have seen three ladies for the last five haircuts/beard trims/shaves I have received. The are, in order from the door to the back - Van, Kim and Kaytlyn (Spelling might be wrong for Kaytlyn). I have had my hair cut by Van twice, Kim once and Kaytlyn twice. All three of them cut my hair extremely well. The first time I went in, Van cut my hair and it was slightly off by a bit but was no reason not to come back. Since that first cut, every cut afterwards have been spot on and if you see something you dont like, they will fix it but it doesnt happen often. Now, I have to say this - if you like gentleness and goosebumps, Kim is the one you want to see. she is extremely good but I am not a fan of that happening - that is just me though. Kaytlyn is very good, not aggressive but you know she is getting the job done and she is not scared to use a razor and the same thing goes for Van. Now Van - she gives the best massages at the end - could have just been that day but so far, it was the best. She figures out what you like and then hits those points a few time throughout but not focused on it. Just so we are clear - this is not a massage that is going to leave you tired or relaxed, it is just a nice ending to haircut. All and all, when my son is ready for his first cut, he will be going there - by far, the happiest I have been with getting my haircut in Fredericksburg. Also, being a prior Marine and getting the med/fade all the time, they just know how to do it and I appreciate that.
