Scott and Linda always make me feel welcome. Whether they ask what I did the past weekend or how my family is, they seem to always be up for a good conversation. Scott is always precise and is offering new suggestions every time I come to get a cut.

This was my third haircut with Scott. Hes done an excellent job and my hair looks better than it ever has! He always has his station clean and ready to go when I walk in. I never feel like he is rushing to get the next customer. He takes him time with me to ensure were both happy with how it looks. I started going to Scott because I moved to the area and I couldnt be happier! If you havent already, give Scott a chance and you wont be disappointed!

Everything about McGowans has been great! Monday night my wife strongly suggested that I get my haircut, or she was gonna do it, so I scheduled an appointment at McGowans with Scot the next morning. I got there a few minutes early but Scot was open and ready to go. Scot and Linda have always been good and friendly folks. The business always has a clean feel to it and you can expect some friendly conversation while you get your haircut.

Ive been going to McGowan Barber for about 20 years. Linda and Scott are both outstanding barbers, great personalities, they care about their business and their customers. I took my son to get his first haircut when he was a toddler, now he is a young man and he wont go anywhere else. I was a little reluctant to give a review, selfishly, they already have many many dedicated customers and if they keep getting many more I wont be able to get an appointment when I need one :-) :-)

This is the place for a great cut! From the time you walk through the door, you feel welcome. All COVID safety precautions taken and the shop is super clean. Had great conversation as well. I told him about what I had in mind and he nailed it with a home run outta the park! Awesome service!

Seems like a nice guy, the female not so much. Expect to have your temprature taken, bossed around on how to wear your mask, complete a form regarding your recent health so they can have documentation for the health department. The whole scene was just stupid. Never going there again or recommending.

They were great to talk with and took there time getting to know me. Linda did a great job with my hair. Their professionalism was superb and their customer service provided an atmosphere of peace. I recommend anyone who struggles to find a barber because of their curly/frizzy hair should try this barbershop because the McGowans know how to work with shaping unmanageable hair into a fantastic hairstyle.

While the shop has always been clean, since COVID Scott and Linda are doing everything required and more to ensure we are safe and remain healthy. We have been going there for years. Scott and Linda are very cautious with pandemic. They keep the shop very clean and the atmosphere is great.

I’ve been taking my two boys ages 10 and 7 here for a little over a year. They are family owned and operated and some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. My oldest also has autism and used to be very overwhelmed by haircuts. They have been wonderful with him and since we’ve been going here he no longer minds getting his hair cut. I’ve taken them to a few other barber shops before discovering this one and I found other barber shops to be annoyed as soon as they see a child walk through the door.

Best Barber shop hands down! Forget about some old man with shaky hands cutting your hair, why do that when you can get a better job done with beautiful women? Barbie was not only super sweet, very kind and lets admit very attractive as well but she was also a great barber. Win win! I will definitely be going back here!

I have been going here for years! They have excellent customer service and do a great job! No drama - just really good haircuts in a nice barber shop. I get my hair cut by Scott or Linda and they do a great job every time. I dont even really need to look at the mirror at the end of the cut. Best place in the area and highly recommend them. Im not sure what this other reviewer is talking about. The McGowan Barber Shop is a great place to get your haircut. Ive been going there every two weeks for about a year. They do a great job and are very friendly. If you are looking for a friendly atmosphere this is the place to go.UPDATE - 9/4/2019:Even after 7-years since this first review ... I got my Miserable haircutI asked for fading on side the girl went all the way up and missed up all my hair. I will never ever give hair cuts their she has no clue of what she’s doing it took 50 minute for simple haircut. I regret going there
