Went for a state inspection and received great service and was out in the wait time given.

Very quick and professional. I was told about pricing up front and for anything else they needed to do.

I needed my exhaust repaired. They were polite, kind. Gave me a very reasonable quote and were willing to do the work same day. I needed to schedule for another day and the service was terrific. They gave me a timetable and kept to it. I would highly recommend them, no price gouging or extra fees. Great place!

Cost was within the estimate and expertly performed. Another shop declined to do our repair work, but Meineke had no problem with it. Were coming back the next time we need service or repairs.

These guys, Mr. Ron and Mr. Brian, are absolutely wonderful. My brakes weren’t ok and by the time I got to where I was going I was in tears, I called the shop and they sent a gentleman over to drive my car to it. It had to stay a day or two but it’s fixed and I feel safe driving with my daughter in vehicle. Thank you sooooo much!!

First of all, almost no employee was wearing a mask and were not enforcing that customers in the waiting room wear a mask. I took my car in for a state inspection, they failed me on a hood latch and when I asked them to explain what was wrong with the hood latch, the manager (Ron) walked out to the car with me and told me that my car was missing a battery holder. I was asking him how I could fix the battery holder I have or what parts I could use to replace it when out of nowhere he raises his voice at me and starts cursing. He slammed my hood shut and told me to get lost, but then changed his tone when he realized I hadnt paid yet. Completely unprofessional behavior, I dont know how they can keep a consistent customer base. Oh and the mechanic that inspected my car tore the seat cover exposing the foam on my driver side seat and left a tear in the carpet. Do not take your car here if you want to come home with it in one piece, or if you want to be treated with respect. Meineke lost a customer today...In fact, I should have gone elsewhere to begin with. Last time I was here with a different vehicle, they refused to honor the discount for an oil change that got mailed to me. It even had their address on it! And their hours on Google are not correct.Whoever from Meineke reads these reviews, save your canned responses. I dont want to hear it. Find a way to make this right, dont just apologize over the internet.

I went to Meineke to get my car inspected, to see why my check engine light was on and to check a noise in my front left wheel. The manager was courteous and polite. He wore his mask the entire time and I also did. The manager listen as I discussed my purpose for being there. As I waited for my car, I noticed the manager wore his mask as he assisted other customers. When my vehicle was ready, the manager discussed the details of my vehicle. He suggest I make an appointment and bring my vehicle back at a later date. I totally agreed and paid him for the service that was done to the vehicle.

Wow spoke with Ron this morning I have a 97 Honda CR-v. I got a quote for 750 dollars for catback stock exhaust 😮. Called auto-zone 350 and that’s list not wholesale price found shop to install for 95 labor total of 445 the parts have lifetime warranty. Look I understand you have to make money its a business this company makes and sells its own parts and they make a killing. Price more reasonably and you see your bays fill up with loyal clients your numbers will increase Company’s like this is what gives the automotive field a bad rap shame on you.

I needed an oil change and also needed to have a diagnostic on my check engine light. The service I received was amazing. They were quick and helpful! Reasonable prices! This will be my go to location for all my car service.

Supposedly, (according to dealer), my 2015 Chevy Equinox had a cracked manifold. (Due to COVID, I could not go back to see it and they said they weren’t sure until they got the part off). Also, many other things were on the invoice estimate that they “recommended”.(like a $300 new key fob!) Not many repair shops handle this time of repair, so I stopped at Meineke and asked. Ron looked up the part, showed me what was involved to remove the old one, put in new one. The estimate was 1/2 the price of the dealership’s estimate, or $800 less! They ordered the part, installed it, and the car is running great!( they did not finish in one day, had to go into the next day/morning). The labor cost was properly amended and they did not up charge me for extra time) everyone I dealt with was pleasant and professional. I’ll return!

I came into have a state inspection done and felt that the customer service was really lacking. I felt like I was a bother to them. When they did the inspection they took off the wheel and when it was put back on they stripped the lug bolt and made it so when the brake repair was done the lug bolts then had to be replaced too and we had to pay for that. Then they put on my bill (1 dollar fee to reinspect and 3.00 for supplies) 4.00 for the state reinspection cost when its only supposed to be 1.00 and when I question them about after I paid it he said he told me that the extra cost is cause most people pay with credit card so it is a 3.00 fee for that. I didnt hear him tell me that or I would have totally not paid extra when I had cash with me. But, because it was on the bill I thought the state inspection when up, but no. I Felt ripped off. I even told him I had cash with me and could pay by that.

Ron and his team was very professional and answered all of my questions. My vehicle was louder than a tank and clanked are the muffler area. They examined my my vehicle and explained to me in detail of the repairs needed and now my vehicle is quite and no more clanking noses.

Dishonest.I will never go back. They will rip you off. I took my car in for a simple 25 minute task, they estimated it would take an hour so I said ok and waited. Car was on the lift exactly 35 minutes but only for 25 minutes was work being done because they called me back to talk about it. When it came time to pay they charged me the hour estimate. I informed them the times and asked if they could fix the rate and they refused. So my car was in the shop for 30 minutes yet I was charged $130 In labor charges. I expect even just a little honesty with the bill.

I had an actuator installed which was located in it under the dash board.The repairs were dont well.But the finish and clean up were horrible. they took everything out of my middle counsel and glove compartment and left it on the floor of my truck. They also left cut pieces of the zip ties they used on the floor. On top of all of they they broke my radio and instead of telling me, they chose not mention it.

Just moved to Virginia from San Diego, Midas explained what a state inspection was and they took about 30 minutes to complete. All the staff I interacted with that day was very nice.

Ive always been comfortable taking my car to Meineke. They are knowledgeable and trustworthy. This past visit they informed me my breaks were low and were close to failing next inspection. I took it back the next week and they took care of it. Appointment are probably best but I usually go in the morning and they manage to fit me in and I get a long walk in.

Quickly diagnosed and fixed a problem with my car. Weird engine sound gone. Gave me tips to avoid problem going forward. Would definitely go back if had further issues with the car.

They were very flexible with me. While they waiting for another appointmenf they did a motocycle inspection for me. I was pressed for time and my plans for inspection at another place fell threw due to the holiday weekend.

Meineke in Fredericksburg was AWESOME! I needed to get my car inspected and had gone to 4 other places and each one either wanted me to leave my car or told me it would take at least an hour to do. I had no problems I had my inspection done and reflected. Had to replace a bulb and windshield I did that then they passed me. They did not do the work so I can’t say anything to that effect. They do have extraordinarily long wait times it seems no matter when you go and you can’t do appointments

I was traveling to Fredericksburg yesterday when all things vile occurred to my muffler. I arranged to pull over and get it fixed at the Meineke at Spotsylvania Mall, and with just 50 minutes before closing time they happily took a look, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it for a very reasonable rate. Showed up early and was able to get brakes, exhaust, and oil change all done... left happy with a new inspection sticker for my old car

They charged me for a tire rotation without asking me if I was willing to pay for it. As a woman I feel like they tried to get over on me and all I ask for was an oil change and my state inspection to be done and how do I know they actually rotated my tires or just charged me. I would never go back to that location again!

Wonderful visit until I overheard the technician running his mouth because I refused a service he offered. I guess he was unaware that the tv in the waiting room had shut off, so I could listen to his complaints. My refusal of a certain part was not a personal move on my part to offend you, mr. Technician. Watch you mouth because you never know who is listening.

State inspection

Disappointed as my family has used this shop for 15+ years. Over time with the staff changes it appeared the quality suffered. Recently had to return to their location three times before the mechanics fixed a simple external oil leak. I even had to tell the mechanic to put UV dye in the engine as he never recommended it as a solution when he said to me, yeah its leaking still, what you want me to do about it? I almost lost it!! Very unprofessional mechanics as service and knowledge goes. The front desk manager is professional but Im not sure hes knowledgeable on vehicles. Dpesnt seem to be any follow up and accountability. I was in a pinch for time and needed a solution and it backfired. Examples like this is why I started working on my own vehicles a long time ago. Very upsetting as their reputation, customer service and skill needs improvement.

Go somewhere else. This place sucks. I made an appointment online. Got a confirmation email shortly after. So I show up early and the guy tells me that I dont have an appointment. Well thats frustrating. Then I present him my coupon for a 20 dollar oil change and filter. He then tries to charge me 40 dollars. What the heck?! This place is terrible. Bad customer service.

How do you tell a customer you cant find the leak, but it will be expensive? Another shop 2 hours and $200 later all fixed.

Ive had tires installed here three or four times. Great service! Today, I picked up a screw in my tire at the mall. I drove slowly to Meineke to see how bad it was and if I was going to need a plug. They pulled the screw out, made sure the tire wasnt losing air, and sent me on my way. Thank you!

I took my 92 Camry in to have 1 strut tower replaced. I was quoted $350,y church was going to pay for it since Id just gotten out of the hospital. After I took the car in they called me and said the other one was in bad shape and would probably go too and itd be another $300. I told them to go ahead if find the other monies somehow. The church called the shop to check on progress and to pay their agreed $350 and they informed them of the additional costs, the church decided to cover the whole thing! When I picked up my car the bill printout was $950!!!!!! $950!!!! For 2 strut towers in a 24 year old car! And to make my experience even better they decided not to put my backseat back together.... Seat belts and all were just left disconnected! I had to figure out all of that in my driveway when I got home. Thanks Meineke!

State Inspection

I spent more than i wanted because the exhaust was chopped up but the work was done well and the car sounds great.

If you are reading the reviews please do not go, I had to drop off my Jeep to get the work redone and I expected to be notified of the work being completed. I was not I called on the third work day of my Jeep being there and was told it had been done for two days.The work that was performed was so bad it looks like a 5 year old with a my first welding kit could have done a better job. and when I addressed this the Shop foreman Ron, was as rude and condensing as I have ever encountered. Telling me that they Made it look pretty and that he would not have any further work done. When I asked about why I was not notified he replied with a snicker, I dont know.This is not a professional shop and I will never go back nor will I recommend this, and that is rather regretful because I was a loyal and repeat customer.
