Very pleased with this agency we used there energy efficiency program they literally saved me a lot of money by correcting all the air leaks this old house had. Now my family is comfterble and warm during these cold winter nights. They were very respectful of my property and my home. Thank you so much the world needs more people like this.

To all Homeless people who suffer or know the pain. Do not expose your self to radiation for a bowl of soup. Does not give people the right to use radiation guns to invade your human being privacy. We are in need but do not expose your self to people who are here to harm you. These people do not care if we live or parish. There here for recognition leaving us in a humiliation status. Every one in FREDERICK Community Action, has a selfish capitalist mentality. God did not say, that he would harm in the time of need to anyone who is in need. Follow me. JC has spoken.

The Soup Kitchen will provide all who are hungry with a free meal. It would be nice if the food were healthier, perhaps more fresh fruits, vegetables and meats as opposed to the processed foods served here. All in all you will rarely go away hungry and it will never cost you a dime.

Smooth is the ultimate king of the culinary kingdom. In fact, you could just shut down Community Action, enlarge the kitchen and dining area. That way more people could enjoy Smooths cooking, and there would still be space left over to keep the day shelter open. Lets get started on those grants and a GoFundMe page. Hail to Smooth! Long live Smooth!

This community outreach organization provides many services to our community. Their website does a better job at listing all they offer. However, I take this opportunity to state that we are a better place to live because of the services offered and the people that provide them at the Frederick Community Action Agency.

The food was actually pretty good. I was surprised to enjoy my meal at a soup kitchen. They also have a ton of services and theres an na meeting there in the evening. It really is way more then a soup kitchen. More like the heart of frederick right along with the rescue mission.

I hear this place serves the needy, people who cant afford a meal. I read prior reviews and was kinda shocked. I have heard so many grateful people of Frederick who need and are so thankful to have them.

Brad Peterson is my hero! He mainly works with people in danger of foreclosure. He also knows a lot about purchasing a home, too. I sought his help in the purchase of my first home. He runs a first-time home buying workshop (I highly recommend before buying!) and he knows about government programs which can help pay for closing costs and such. I highly recommend him for impartial advice on anything to do with a home buying! Frederick is lucky to have a person like him in our Community Action Agency.

I work around the real estate industry so a large percentage of the information was not new to me. However, even I learned new things that day. The program is a great opportunity not only for the financial assistance programs but for new home buyers.Brad is a fantastic person and knowledgeable. Hes not an educator (which I am) so it was hard to stay mentally checked in. Dont let that sway you! Pay attention. The info is good. The lender who he had open the session was not only informative, but engaging.I recommend with 5 stars!

The soup kitchen provides meals from a can. Youre likely to get starches and carbs to make you feel full. Smooth, who professes to be a chef cant cook anything correctly. As an example of what they provide, the other night we had pork and beans out of a can mixed with a miniscule amount of ground beef served over a plate of rice. The meal wouldnt have satisfied a child, much less an adult.

One of the best places for people to eat. The food is excellent and it serves the most needy folks in our community.
