The bistro was disappointing. None of the food advertised online was actually available, but other than that, this hotel was great! The rooms were clean, the courtyard area was beautiful, and staff was friendly! The location is also perfect! It’s close to many restaurants and bars!

Decent hotel. Its got what you need with solid sized rooms. The bar closes early however they make up for that by selling beers such as Coors Light, Bud Light, Corona & an IPA plus Wine out of their front desk. Didnt have a chance to try their food. They have a pool however its small.

After 10 hours of riding our motorcycles it was hard to find a hotel… after calling a few hotels with attitudes we finally talked to our savior Isaac! He was so wonderful and accommodating that we drove an extra 20 minutes. We could have stayed in other hotels that were closer but because of his great energy we knew we would be in great hands. Hotel was clean and well kept. My life really liked the furnishings, I didnt. Beds were uncomfortable for our taste. Staff wont go out of their way to be accommodating, friendly though.

Positive: It was clean and the beds were so comfortable, our sofa bed didn¿t have linens and the front desk hand delivered some to our room! Negative: Nothing at all! It was great!

There is great customer service here and the rooms seem clean, but when we got to our room we discovered that the window was broken and wouldnt shut. We never called about it though because it didnt seem to be much of a problem and we were in a rush to get to our event. Theres no free breakfast, but you can buy breakfast at their Bistro in the lobby. The healthy breakfast sandwich doesn’t look like much but it is delicious! The pool is small and shallow but we had into ourselves when we went so it was still nice. The hot tub was closed, sadly. Overall, the stay was nice!

Not at all what was advertised. The “Bistro” hardly had any food available, and the rooms were unimpressive. The AC unit was broken in the first room they gave me, and the carpets were stained in the 2nd one. Garbage was piled up in hallways. Ewwe. Only saving grace was the kindness and professionalism of the service staff, who were clearly do the best they could. I decided not to return here for my second trip. Not what I’ve come to expect from previous Marriott experiences.

Man this place was soo clean! and nice! The staff was super friendly, great amenities pool, gym and bistro. The rooms are extremely nice! Loved the Bathroom, the neighborhood was really nice close to everything in Frederick. I would definitely stay there again because of the great pricing. Our stay at the courtyard Frederick during the coronavirus outbreak was excellent. We were staying there for a wedding weekend. When the wedding venue canceled at the last minute the hotel went out of their way to help us out. The couple was able to get married and we had a mini reception at the hotel. The staff was amazing especially Lauren. They were so helpful with anything we needed. The hotel itself was immaculate. Since this was during the coronavirus outbreak they were constantly disinfecting and cleaning common areas. I felt safe there. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel to anyone coming to the Frederick area.

I enjoyed my recent stay at the Courtyard Marriott. I was traveling for business. I like staying there as there is really good coffee options in the morning and really good food/drink options for the evening. The lobby/grill area is well appointed and comfortable. I often bring my laptop and sit and eat/drink in that area. Totally comfortable. The serving staff are accommodating and anticipate the clients needs. I would recommend.

Stayed at this hotel for a two day conference nearby. The hotel is very up to date with its decor and had a great modern, comfortable vibe. Staff was great, very attentive. My room was very clean, and looked to have been newly renovated. The king size bed was comfortable and everything worked as expected. Parking is free.

The General manager is amazing. He’s always in the lobby greeting the patrons. The staff is also amazing and may even know you by name if you’re there for a couple days. Everything is very clean and every day I was pleasantly surprised by their kindness and ability to make you feel at home. This makes a HUGE impact, especially for business travelers who are never home. I genuinely looked forward to seeing them every time I walked through the lobby doors.

We went for a wedding that was at another venue, but staged everything there and met in the bar area after the wedding and reception to spend time with friends before departing the next morning. The staff members were really great, the room was comfortable and clean, and the facilities were excellent (business center, pool, sauna, and fitness center) even though we didnt really get a chance to use them because we were so busy. We would definitely stay here again!

Reserved a specific room and was given a totally different room when I arrived. Said they were totally booked so unable to give me what I reserved 3 MONTHS EARLIER!! Im even a Gold Elite member too. And they never cleaned my room one of the days that I was there. Just totally ignored it for some reason. And the hotel was so so. Nothing to jump up and down about. Just blah. They obviously have some operational issues to resolve. Will be staying at another hotel when I visit there next month.

They get a second star for the bed being comfortable and the pillows not being hard like other hotels. However, the room smelled musty and sure enough their was mold in the bathroom near the ceiling. Despite low occupancy, we didnt get our room cleaned/fresh towels/shampoo at ALL during put 5-day stay. The Starbucks coffee was free in the morning, so that was a perk, but we were not allowed to use the pool, or even the large outdoor fire pit! Overall, just fell like a general waste of money.

We had a few problems with our room but they were quickly resolved except the tv issue but we really did not spend too much time in our room to warrant this a problem. All of our guests, & there were a 25 room block, were very satisfied with there stay. The front desk were very accommodating & courteous.

I had the opportunity to spend a night here recently and was very pleased. Everything was clean, fresh, comfortable — and even the food, by hotel standards, was very good! (One quibble: how about free breakfast? Seems most cheaper hotels offer this now...)

I had the pleasure of staying in the room with Jacuzzi. It was very nice and relaxing. No noise in the hotel (and my room was right by the front on the first floor). The bed could have been a little more comfortable. the shower was very nice! Nice balcony, room was very spacious. Will deff stay here again very soon!

Hotel is clean and close to highway for quick access to surrounding areas. Pleasant courtyard with a fire pit made for an enjoyable summer evening with family and friends. Wish the hotel was more incorporated into a business district for easier walking to restaurants and and other activities, but there are these thing close enough to hotel as to not to have to drive far away.

There are many hotels in the immediate vicinity of the Courtyard Marriott in Frederick. I made the right decision, based on a recommendation from a co-worker, to stay here. The staff was very friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and helpful. The full service restaurant served great quality food, quickly. Most often I would call in my order from my room, wait a few minutes, walk down to the restaurant and it was ready/waiting for me. Nice presentation too. After a long day it was nice not to have to drive to an area restaurant. My room was spotless and stayed that way for duration of my stay. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job and their attention to detail was obvious. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by, if you are into that. My room had a balcony, which was nice. However, there was no furniture on it. Had to roll the office chair outside - no biggie. Bottom line - I slept very well which is not normally the case when I stay at a hotel.

While our stay at the hotel was brief (just one night), this hotel had all of the accommodations needed for a comfortable, convenient stay. We were able to select an early check-in - which was very helpful since we were staying for a local wedding and needed a few extra hours before normal check-in. The room was in perfect shape and bed was incredibly comfortable. All staff members were polite and courteous. This is an excellent choice if youre looking to grab a hotel room in the area, regardless of the occasion. Its not too far from Downtown Frederick as well so we were able to get there pretty quickly the next morning for some sight seeing. Youd have to drive. Great visit!

We had a wonderful stay at Courtyard Frederick. It was quite, clean, easily accessible off US 70. We had to wait a little to get our room, because it appeared to me that they didnt notice my special request for a balcony room until I arrived. We waited approximately 15 minutes, but it was no problem, as they honored our request. The staff was friendly and professional throughout our visit. We will definitely book this hotel when visiting Frederick again.

Property is well maintained. pool was clean but spa could use some exterior maintenance (nothing that impacted spa itself). Rooms were cleaned nicely each day and TV worked, along with having an on screen guide

I was placed in the suite and it was pretty nice. There were a few cob webs up high around the ends where the curtains are located. The suite itself is large and clean.The staff are friendly and helpful, as I extended my trip a second week.The Internet is free but finicky and drops randomly but it seems like thats the case for most places. When its working, pages load fine. The paid internet is $4.95 a day and acts the same way with the dropping. Not sure why that is however.Theres a pool and hot tub, both are cleaned and maintained.The exterior and interior of the hotel itself are cleaned frequently.I was there earlier this year during that crazy blizzard. The staff were amazing! They had snow plows working around the clock.

Wonderful place to stay. Clean, neat and tidy, Both the fire pit area and water fall area were a surprise bonus for us. We enjoyed sitting outside. The property layout gives it a resort feeling. Very well planned for the area allowed. Breakfast was delicous, fresh eggs, fresh brewed tea, yummy. The lobby bar was such fun Friday night. Thank you again Marriott for a wonderful stay.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a wedding party. We had a quick last minute change in times and needed to be in our room before the 3:00 check in, I called and followed the directions of the staff when it came to early check in. They were able to accommodate me being that the groomsmen were getting ready in our room. (WONDERFUL)The cleanliness was 5 star, we had glasses and plastic cups in our room.We had a fridge that worked.The 12:00 check out time was MORE than enough to recover from a night of fun and excitement. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We stayed at the Courtyard Frederick for my wedding. The suite we stayed in was awesome and the room my family stayed in was very clean. Staff was very friendly. We would definitely book this hotel again.

Room is clean like new. Very comfortable for a short stay. Location is great as shops and restaurants are within walk-able distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. The elevators and some common area look abit dated. They might want to upgrade their restaurant and bar as they dont look attractive to me and I can easily head out for a good bite close by. Overall my stay is pleasure.

We came in to this hotel from a red eye flight that landed at 4:30am. We got to the hotel around 7am and were told we were welcome to hang out in the lobby/TV room. 20 minutes later they had a room ready for us!! Lauren at the front desk is very sweet and helpful. She went out of her way to help us. Ray at the coffee bar was awesome! He was professional and polite but very engaging personality. Our room was clean and nice, perfect for our family of four. We only got to stay one night-pretty much my only complaint is that I wish we could have stayed longer!

The Courtyard has a nicely executed Bistro concept that feels spacious and comfortable. The food is very good. While this is not one of the old Courtyards with a large garden courtyard and outdoor pool, it does have a lovely walled garden in back with a fountain, gas fire pit, and small lawn. There are four or five distinct seating areas, so you can enjoy the garden with privacy even when others are there.

I was part of a wedding party: a block of rooms had been reserved. The rate was very good; the rooms nice, pleasant, and clean; check- in and out was a breeze. Dining is limited and meant mostly as a service to guests, and the waitresses and cooks certainly were amiable and good-natured, working hard to serve their guests efficiently. Parking is ample and uncomplicated. Finding the actual hotel for this out-of-towner was a slight challenge, but then there were several similar hotels all in this same quiet compound, less than a mile from shopping centers with nice stores. The motel, once found off the interstate, was centralized to the area and so getting around was easy. Employees were very courteous, happy, helpful, and seemed to enjoy working there. The hotel was completely full for one of the two nights I stayed, but the staff handled it all gracefully and efficiently. On that one fully- occupied night of my stay, the one elevator could have used a partner unit; however, as this is still a small motel with only three floors , the elevator pretty fast, so the wait was merely a minor foot-tapping delay.This is hardly a fancy place, but it is certainly a very nice place. I would stay there again without question.

This was my first stay at the Frederick Courtyard. The facility is immaculate -- clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff is uniformly friendly, competent, and knowledgeable about both the facility and the general area. Fresh-brewed Starbucks coffee is available 24/7 -- a definite plus for me -- as are snacks, drinks, and sundries from the mart next to the front desk. The pool and hot tub are clean, bright, and inviting, as are the outdoor seating areas adjacent to the pool area. The lounge and cafe areas are clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the cafe menu (which, unfortunately, I didnt have an opportunity to sample) is short but appealing. The rooms are clean, fresh, and comfortable, and even the view of the front parking lot from the window is beautiful. Everything in the room is well-maintained and works properly. The heating unit was a little loud the first night, but not so much for the rest of my stay. (Work performed on it while we were there? Just operator error? I dont know.) Housekeeping was perfect -- everything refreshed/replaced as needed, with nothing out of place. Billing was timely and correct, and check-out was quick and painless. An almost perfect stay from start to finish.

It was easy to check in and check out of the hotel. Staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. Selecting a channel on the TV system was difficult. My only complaint is that at this price the hotel should offer complimentary breakfast. It would have saved us time. Otherwise it was an excellent place to stay.

This was my second stay at Courtyard Frederick, and it continued the excellent experience I had during the first visit. Check-in/check-out were fast and error-free; desk staff were personable and exceptionally efficient. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, and are kept clean and well-appointed by the unobtrusive housekeeping staff. The pool and Jacuzzi were clean and orderly, and the view onto the patio outside brought a pleasant splash of nature to poolside. All in all, it was a wonderful visit that I expect to repeat many times in the future.

Only giving 4 stars because theres no complimentary breakfast for the price you pay, but otherwise a great stay! Theres a yummy Starbucks/Bistro area if you choose to purchase food. The menu looked very yummy and a portion of it changes seasonally. I didnt choose to stop there so Im unsure of the prices (they werent listed in the rooms menu), but all of the options sounded fresh and healthy. Theres plenty of food not far away from the hotel, so my guess is theres also lots of good options to order delivery from somewhere elsewhere local if you prefer.

Was there for an event recently and thought it was quite nice. The decor was modern as well as the layout. The catering was delicious, and the staff all were great. The only complaint I have is that as soon as I walked in I was bombarded with an overwhelming smell of chlorine from the indoor pool. It actually made my eyes water.

Room was fantastic and front desk help was very helpful. There is a nice little deli type store downstairs. I didnt get to use many of the amenities but the room and bed were nice and clean. The hotel itself was quiet, even though it is located close to the highway. Id stay here again.

Rooms are pretty clean and mostly well kept. I stay weekly for work and found the drains in most rooms are slow and clogged more often than not. The staff is extremely friendly however the food is quite pricey. The gym is tiny and there is really only enough room for one person to use the free weights. Overall, its a good place to stay which is why I continue to return.

I’m repeating myself again. In today’s world we are responsible for basics; especially corporations. There was no provisions for recycling cans, bottles, or cardboard. Marriott should be leading as example. Secondly, there was no provision for water ...either bottled or upon entry. Third the staff was extremely pleasant but could be more proactive.

I rented a room as a surprise for Valentines day for my husband. We had a suite with a whirlpool tub on the first floor. The room was very nice and the tub was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a couples package that came with a bottle of champagne and breakfast for two. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Loved the Marriott brand and all of their hotels. I own timeshare with Marriott and stay at many properties.. What we do miss is the breakfast that was usually offered not the Starbucks substitute at the Courtyard Frederick, the Fairfield across the street there has a complimentary breakfast there at least it did the last time we stayed there .. I dont even mind paying for breakfast it was nice when the courtyards had the real breakfast offering and not just Starbucks ..The stay was great and we will definitely be back for sure .. Hopefully I can get feedback on why the morning breakfast option was eliminated

Staff during check-in were very nice and helpful. Staff during the whole stay were always very helpful. Cleanliness of the whole property was incredible. One drawback was no outside pool and indoor pool is very small.

OVERALL, A VERY PLEASANT STAY AND I WOULD DEFINATELY STAY HERE AGAIN FOR THE PRICE AND THE LOCATION.

This is a well maintained Courtyard. Staff was courteous but the bistro menu needs an upgrade and the hours arent the best. The gym is above average and theres a pool with hot tub. I like that theres open comfortable seating outside for smokers.#travelformortals

We reserved a block of rooms at the Frederick Courtyard for our sons wedding in September. The hotel staff couldnt have been more accommodating. The lobby area was perfect for wedding guests to hang out and visit. The staff was organized during our planning and efficient during our stay. The shops across the street were perfect for last minute shopping and the restaurants/bars were very convenient. It was a perfect place to stay!

I stayed at Courtyard because it had other positive reviews when I was researching hotels near my Frederick office. I really enjoyed my stay. From check in to check out, the staff was very warm and inviting. The girl at the Bistro was new but she did a great job keeping up when it got busy. She was friendly as the rest of the staff was. For hotel food, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. Everything I had was good. My room was clean and comfortable. I utilized the hot tub and pool one night. Seems that rarely gets used so I was the only one in there for an hour and it was awesome. Well kept & clean like the rest of the hotel. The only issue i had was that my rooms ac was really loud when it would kick on. It seemed like it was struggling a little. It would keep me up at times but not bad enough to where I complained about it when I was there. Ill defintely stay here again on my next business trip.

Needed a jetted tub after 3 weeks in a hospital- body was tired and weak- able to get just what I wanted in a very nice place.

Took three tries to finally get into the room. First room the TV was broken, second room smelled awful, and finally the third room was what I was looking for. The staff was amazing however room cleanliness was an absolute disgrace. May not be returning to this Marriott anytime soon.

The Courtyard Marriott was very nice. We were there for a wedding & they were very accommodating for our needs. We had a catered breakfast the following morning which was excellent.

I have never been to a hotel where EVERY PERSON on the staff has been so kind and considerate! I would definitely recommend staying here.

When we checked in we were given a room by the elevator. There were several weddings booked in the hotel for the weekend. I went back down to the front desk and Megan immediately and cheerfully gave us another room in a quieter location. The bartender in the lobby bar was excellent. She made some good drink suggestions and made sure we were happy. The room was great. The bathrooms are updated and clean, the bed comfy and the room was clean and decorated nicely.

The hotel was great! The staff were amazing, but the bathroom had a dirty tub and black mold on the shower curtain. Other than that, the bed was comfy, the room was clean, and it was a very nice overall experience.

We had a terrible experience at Courtyard Marriott. The elevator was broken and we had to drag all of our luggage up three floors. My mother is 91, and the staff did not provide ANY assistance. No compensation other than a free breakfast was given.I suffer with MS and my symptoms got worse, I believe from walking three flights of stairs. It was a high price tag to pay for what should of been a pleasant weekend.

Everything about my stay was perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable, the temperature control in the room was easy to use and very responsive. The décor was very stylish. Everything I encountered at the hotel was in perfect working order and clean.
