If I could give it negative stars, I would. A VERY expensive death trap!! Do not place your loved one in this facility. They will charge you what they think you can afford NOT based on the level of care that your loved one needs. You will pay the highest price for the highest level of care and you will get less than the lowest level of care and supervision. Your loved one will suffer injuries and you will get several different stories about how it happened. My wheelchair bound Grandmother who was supposed to be getting the highest and most expensive supervision, died of severe brain bleeding after falling twice in one morning, once in the shower. The nurses called me the morning it happened and then after she died in the hospital a week later, the administrator told me a completely different story! No one called or sent a letter to give me and my family condolences AND they put all her belongings outside on the front porch and told me to come pick them up. If you are considering putting your loved one here, at the very least do NOT give them any of your financial info, even though they act like you have to in order to be accepted. Once you do, they base their charges on what you have NOT what your loved one needs. Disgusting! I have no words to describe the pain and suffering they have caused me and my family.

My mother spent the last few weeks of her life at Edenton. The staff was caring, friendly, and respectful, the facilities were clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We visited a lot of assisted living facilities in the area. By far, Edenton was the best.

My mom was in the memory care unit for the past 8 months and became one of the loving and caring family that is there. She loved it...was very well cared for...great activities for her mind ... exercise...social times...made friends. She had a staff of angels watching over her. My family and I were so blessed to have found Edenton. Her last week was in hospice right there in her room so she was home before going to her forever home with our Lord. She was surrounded in love !! We would highly recommend Edenton anytime!!
