Tom and all the Heavy Water guides are second to none. I’ve used a lot of guide services, and have had many good days, but honestly have never had a bad day with Tom in more than 50 trips. He is by far the best fisherman, guide, and teacher I’ve ever known. Plus he is super fun to hang out with. Tom and Heavy Water Anglers have my highest possible recommendation.

Tom, is by far the best fishing guide I have had on the water. No matter how many times I have gone out with Tom, I learn something new every time. I’ve fished with Tom @ Heavy Water Anglers a few times now and would recommend if you’re planning on fishing for Trout or Muskie to give him a call. I’m very new to Flyfishing and he goes out of his way to make your experience memorable. I’ve never been around anyone so knowledgeable and works so hard to get you on the fish all the while taking in consideration your limitations. I love fishing with him! On my latest trip we put so many Brooke Trout in the net, that I lost count. He was also responsible for helping me land my biggest Rainbow Trout this past winter. If he tells you to cast to a certain location, you can bet there’s a fish there. I’ve already booked a trip for next spring!
