My son started Tiger Rock Taekwondo in Franklin back in October of 2020, just after turning 9. He had tried most of the traditional youth sports and wanted to do something different. He loves this and even competed in a competition. Mr. Gann has a great way of connecting with and communicating with the kids. He is growing his students physically and mentally. We did our research and even tried out some other places, but no doubt we picked the right one for us. Weve also seen more confidence and focus in our son as well.

This martial arts school is a great place for kids and adults. Ive watched my grandson gain confidence and control, along with learning to defend himself. Hes also being taught discipline and respect, which will help him for the rest of his life. Great job, Tiger Rock!

Ive been going to Tiger Rock for almost a year now, and in that time its been filled with nothing but fun and great freinds. Everyone who is their gets along with each other and make each other feel included. Mr. Gan and mrs. gan are really nice and get along with the kids and do a great job teaching Takequando. A lot of the kids will stay after class and just talk to one another because it feels just like we are all one big family their and we work hard together to improve. Then everyone can go to the tournaments that happen a few times a year. We always cheer each other on to do their best. I like it so much Im up their every day we have class and there is a leader ship program that the jrs and above can join to help teach class once youre green belt. So i joined that because i like to help with the kids and just be up their in general because its just a greate atmosphere.

Our son likes punching the punching bag, is working on his balance when kicking, and looks forward to winning parent/kid dodgeball. Our other son likes the obstacle course and is looking forward to getting his next rank. Our next two sons want to join once they are old enough.

Learning at Tiger Rock has had a tremendous effect on my Grandsons self-discipline. Mr. Gann cares about the children, and follows a fine balance between humor and seriousness to motivate them. His approach encompasses good habits as well as good skills. I highly recommend this studio for any parent that wants too see more discipline, courage, confidence and respect from their child.

Tiger Rock is an excellent place to learn new martial arts skills. We are so happy that our grandson is learning skills that will increase his confidence and develop more discipline. We are looking forward to seeing how these skills carry over into other facets of his life.

My family loves tiger rock!! My youngest child Kai looks forward to coming to class everyday. From the beginning when we first joined Tiger Rock we felt so welcomed into the program. The instructors comminuted well with the children and comes in with lots of energy the kids feed off of. Tiger Rock not only helps you with Taekwondo, but helps you with life skills as a young age. Hey just wanted to jump on here and share how awesome Tiger Rock Martial Arts has been for my son in only a week. I got a promotional invite through facebook and decided to give it a shot. I had no expectations. I had texted back and forth with 1 person for about a week or more, she answered all my questions, responded quickly, and made me feel very welcome from the get go. We walked in and Mr. Gann was ready to greet us and throw my son right in to the mix with all the other kids, he had a blast and I made some friends that night as well. Basically over all Im loving it already and most importantly my son is having a blast! I highly recommend Tiger Rock Franklin with instructors Mr. and Mrs. Gann. My oldest son (8) began Tiger Rock last year. I have watched him progress from a white belt to second level green belt. Tiger Rock not only instills a love for martial arts but does so in such a way to help the kids grow mentally as well as physically. The program helps children learn discipline and respect as well as martial arts. Mr. Gann and Mrs. Gann engage the kids with skills to help in dangerous situations, including defensive and offensive skills. They also provide the kids with physical activity that keeps them entertained and engaged and with a desire to return to a subsequent class. The program is also nation wide and hosts local and National tournaments. The tournament my son just participated in gave him and I the opportunity to understand more about the Tiger Rock family as well as to see what future skills he can gain from further participation. The medals that he won were an added bonus and absolutely a boat in his ninja skills self-confidence. A further benefit to Tiger Rock is the cost benefit. With the monthly charge you are able to attend class up to 6 days a week (no classes on Sunday). I would recommend anyone seeking to get their kids or themselves engaged with martial arts to give Tiger Rock a try!

Tiger Rock has been an essential extracurricular for my son. He has shown so much personal growth through this program. His confidence and determination to succeed astounds me! Mr. Gann has been a huge part of his experience. Every day, he would be there ready to greet each child and to push them to be their ultimate best. He encourages and reassures them. Mr. Sean Gann is an incredible instructor who has a passion for helping others achieve their best! Hes been my instructor for almost 3 years and he truly cares for his students and pushes them to achieve their goals.

I cant speak highly enough about Mr. Gann. Over the past year, he has helped my girls so much in very different ways. He is patient and encouraging. He is gentle yet stern and knows how to get kids to respond to him. I HIGHLY recommend him and we are so sad he is leaving us here in Tuscaloosa. To have Mr. and Mrs. Gann involved in your life is such a blessing. My daughter has taken Martial Arts through Tiger Rock since she was 5. She is now 17 and is an instructor.
