FairyTale did a 40x60 tent for our outdoor wedding. Laurie was amazing to work with and called almost immediately after it was set up to check on us and make sure it all went well. We were so pleased with the tent, it was in good condition. The setup workers went as far to show us how to remove walls on the tent, if needed, since it was very hot on our wedding day. Everyone was knowledgeable and professional.

I want to just say what a STAND UP vendor- no not vendor , feels more like FRIENDS- Fairy Tale Tents & Events of Illinois is to work with ! Between Laurie and Tony and the whole crew… they are BEYOND professional, on time, easy to work with, responsive, so accommodating, and just NICE. You can tell when a business is a family and you can tell when they take pride in their work ! I’m so so so thankful for them and we will use them again whenever we get the chance ! You guys just don’t know how happy you made me and Dave ! Thank you a thousand times over !10/10 would ALWAYS recommend !

Fairy Tale Events made my “ dreams come true”!From my first impression talking with Joanne who was so very sweet and came through for me a few days before my event by securing a tent when another fell through. She listened to my concerns about trying to maintain social distancing as well as providing a great experience! She scheduled JULIE to come out and made this the most stress-free experience because she made it happen and came through for me in 3days! Tony and his assistant were so professional when they came to put up my tent. They were so accommodating and wanted to make sure I was happy with where the tent was placed. I loved my high peak tent! My garden chairs where so white and clean! I was so pleased with my experience and would HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Fairy Tale Events!I’m so grateful for their expertise and professionalism! I love this company! I’ve rented from them for over 15 years and have always been happy and satisfied with the service they provide! I rented tents, tables, chairs this past weekend for my sons engagement party and it was beautiful! Next year I will be using them for a outdoor B B Q! Nice to know I can rely on them year after year....one less thing to worry about when party planning!

Update to this post: Owners response is vague and untrue. I have still yet to receive a phone call.Brides in this area, beware of any business you do with this company. I have now placed FOUR phone calls (over the span of many weeks) in politely and professionally asking for the owner to call me back to discuss options for the cancellation of my wedding due to Covid-19. After asking, and asking, it is BEYOND frustrating that they absolutely refuse to contact me to work out an amicable resolution, one in which would work for both of us. Upon booking, Laurie was very helpful and polite, however, once my fiance and I realized we would not be able to have our wedding after two postponed dates, their tune changed immediately. Once they got my deposit, they had no intention of even considering working something out to get a portion of it returned. I am also working with several other vendors (Including the Morton Arboretum, Chuck’s BBQ, and Creative Cakes of Orland Park) who have all been BEYOND accommodating, willing to work with me, and so thoughtful and understanding about how difficult it was for my fiance and I to cancel our much anticipated wedding plans. Each one of them offered a full refund, even when the contract language that I signed said otherwise. They all agreed that a global pandemic is reason enough to work with their customers to make sure all parties are taken care of. I couldn’t be happier with my interactions with them. I really wish I could say the same about this Fairy Tale Tents and Events of Frankfort. The level of unprofessionalism and lack of respect and concern for their customers is astounding. Again, Laurie was very pleasant to work with until our plans changed. After that, it is very clear that they are only concerned with the livelihood of their companies and do not put customer service first in ANY way. As I have stated, I have never spoken to the owner, as she refuses to answer any of my calls.To be clear, my fiance and I received this response back from the owner after he wrote a review upset about our situation. The tone alone demonstrates how this company operates. Had she simply called me back to discuss our deposit, this could have been prevented. She speaks of turning down other brides, when in fact, I was told by her office that nearly all of the weddings have been cancelled due to Covid, and that the schedule was very open. She also makes mention of my knowledge of the contract, which was never in dispute. In actuality, the contract was precisely why I wanted to speak with her.I am sorry that this situation has had to come to this. I have never written a negative review in my life. Unfortunately, this is the only way that the owner of this company will understand that it is not okay to treat people this way. I just can’t stand by to see that other families will unknowingly sign a contract with this company knowing you won’t even get a call back if you need to talk about changing plans that are not in their best financial interest.Planning your wedding day should be one of happiness and joy. It was such a pleasure to work with Julie and her staff on my event. I have referred at least 20 of my friends and associates and all speak very high of the service and compassion of the staff.If you need to plan any event call Julie.

Fairy tale events made our backyard wedding so amazing! We got so many compliments how beautiful our event was. We had a 1 peak tent with Italian bulb lights and fabric draped on the ceiling. It was so magical. We got so many compliments from guest saying how much they loved our event. I felt like our event was truly one of a kind. We were able to personalize so much of what we wanted. We also ordered our table clothes through Fairy tale events. And they were so beautiful and really pulled everything together. Laurie was so easy to work with and I would highly recommend Fairy tale events to anyone whose looking for something different than the generic banquet hall. I would rent for them again in heartbeat. Everyone was so professional and I loved every detail.

Had an awful, awful experience with this company. I was working with someone on a quote and we were speaking on the phone and emailing back and forth then all of a sudden they stopped responding to my emails. When I called 4 days later to check in on why I hadnt heard back I was told they were all sold out for my wedding date and by the way I never secured anything through a deposit so nothing was confirmed. The thing is, I was TRYING to confirm the exact items we needed in order to have a correct quote and be ready to put a deposit down. This is an absolutely terrible way to run a business, especially with everything happening right now during the pandemic. I would not recommend them to anyone

Yesterday another company in Georgia by the name of Fairy Tale Tents & PARTY Events was mistaken for our business here in Illinois Fairy Tale Tents & Events. A lady by the name of TAMMY H. made some HORRIBLE comments. Fairy Tale Tents & Events located in Frankfort, IL is by NO means affiliated with TAMMY H. or her company in Georgia, Fairy Tale Tents & PARTY Events. The names are very similar which I can see how consumers would google and get us instead of the rental store in Georgia but, please check your results before placing reviews. I just want to make this clear. I have a few not so nice reviews on Google from yesterday and we are asking that the reviewers realize they made a mistake and clear our name here in Illinois. Google is not taking phone calls due to COVID-19 therefore it has been extremely difficult to clear this mistake up on our google business page. A HUGE THANK YOU to all of the kind people in Georgia who realized this mistake and reached out to me and are helping to rectify this. I was overwhelmed by their support yesterday, it was great!!

Do not book with this company. It has been a terrible experience. We had our wedding cancelled because of the pandemic, and the owner is refusing to take our calls and hasn’t returned a call after weeks of trying. They are unwilling to work with us and cited that their lawyers stated that they have this “right.” I now have to bring lawyers into a situation that could have been handled amicably.With all of the government aide available to small businesses, I can only assume that they are accepting the aide and still charging us.This company has only added conflict and stress during a time that we should be working together to find solutions.Shame on you.

When I walked into my wedding tent I was crying because of how beautiful my tent looked it was spotless and everything was done to perfection.

Amazing people amazing prices

I used them for my wedding rentals as far as chairs for indoor and outdoor, tables, and portable restrooms. They were the best price I could find and had a low delivery fee. They worked well with me on the phone and through emails. They were always pleasant and helpful.The chairs were exactly what I wanted and what was shown on the website. They were all clean and in great condition. They are not super sturdy. Im not sure what the max weight is but I was nervous about some of our guests.I loved the garden chairs. They looked beautiful for my ceremony. They also were in great condition.The tables arent what I thought I was getting. I was under the understanding that they were white plastic not brown wood. I used lienens but the two 8ft head tables didnt work for the skirting I ordered. The clips were ordered for the white plastic tables. If I would have known ahead of time that would have been avoided. I got white tables from a friend so it all worked out but I do wish they wouldve been more descriptive with that.Everything was delivered two days early besides the portable toilets. Those were delivered late. They were supposed to be delivered Friday afternoon but were not delivered until 10am the day of my wedding. I was also disappointed in the flushable toilets. To be frank, they sucked. They were full within a few hours! I am lucky I got one that didnt flush. But for 170 people we had two flushable and one not and some people used our house. I did not expect them to be full so fast! I would pass on the flushable ones.They came two days after to pick everything up. The young men that came to pick the tables and chairs were very nice. They asked how everything went and asked if we had problems. They were fast and worked well together.Overall, I would rent from here again and would recommend it to anyone.
