The other two companies I previously talked to did just that which I dont find to be neccessary if you have a great product. Recently purchased replacement windows from Pella for my 1940s bungalow. The entire experience, from ordering to installation, was very customer friendly. Everyone involved (sales rep, schedulers, installation team) was knowledgeable and experienced. Great customer service. The installation was very efficient, and they cleaned up so well, you would hardly know they had been there. The windows look just like the originals, but there is a definite difference in interior temperature, and I love being able to open windows that used to be sealed shut. Thanks to everyone at Pella for a great job.

Cody came out to our house to help with the seal on our door. He not only fixed the problem but he helped educate me on why it was not working and how to keep to working properly. It is brand new door so he also helped me with some helpful tips for keeping my door working properly for all the years to come. Cody has a fantastic attitude, super happy to help! David with Pella glass came out to our new home yesterday to quote us on getting new windows installed. He was prompt and very informative. David was very personable which made the visit pleasant and comfortable. Not once did we feel like he was trying to just make some money off of us like some other companies we have had come out. Pella windows did a great job at confirming our appointment time and also David was incredibly quick to send pictures of samples to reference and our quote.

This review will soon be for the whole experience but for now I have just signed up so I’m waiting for my new windows and doors to be built.I initially called about the windows that have the automated blinds in them but unfortunately they would not fit into my remodel. Anyway, I really like David (my sales rep) because he was very up front and realistic on our initial call and told me what I wanted to know without making me wait for the in home sales pitch. I liked that he was transparent and even though I had to deal with some sticker shock I decided to press on so he then came out to measure and discuss what they had to offer. He was very professional and I know Pella’s reputation so I ended up signing up for 41 windows and 3 doors. They are pricey but most quality products are. I really like dealing straight with the manufacturer and I like that Pella is installing them. (No finger pointing if something is happens to go wrong). Now I am excited to see and feel the difference even though its a bit of a bummer to have to wait 6 weeks. Its a lot of windows so I get it. If you’re in the DFW area, definitely ask for David. Good guy in my opinion.I will update this post throughout the process with dates so stay tuned!

Madelyn came out to the house to give an estimate for my windows, and was right on time. She explained everything perfectly, and wasn’t pushy at all. She seemed very knowledgeable and very honest! Excellent Service Team!Even the best quality items need maintenance sometimes. I have a 12’ Pella 350 series sliding door unit that needed some maintenance and adjustments after a hail storm. Soooo......they do a good job selling and the windows are nice but the installers that came out did not do very good and they are very proud of lifetime warranty that does not cover labor after the first 2 years which was not told to us. And we have already had 2 windows that the seals went bad. I would not recommend this to anyone.

1 year ago, I needed a high-quality large window for my kitchen to allow for a large glass panel to be put in place that will function for many years to come and it needed to be high quality enough to be able to absorb the sun and heat hitting that side of the house. Alex Czechowicz at Pella Windows not only provided an excellent estimate but was able to consult me on the best window for the project. the Pella window arrived in impeccable condition and is of very high quality (I bought the fiberglass double-pane custom window). Custom production time was reasonable as well. I highly recommend Alex and Pella Windows and Doors if you are looking for a good product at a good price.

Very pleased!!!! I expected to spend the whole day waiting around for the technician to look at our door. To my surprise, Cody arrived exactly when he said he would. He diagnosed my problem in seconds and had it repaired in minutes. He is very knowledgeable about the products he represents. When he left, our door was repaired and sparkling clean. And Cody was even kind enough to give me a lesson on how our doors worked!

Pella sales associate Mr. Blake arrived to our home on time and was courteous to us and offered recommendations for our home and details on build quality. He talked us out of a wood door for the front and steered us towards a fiberglass door which would be lower cost, lower maintenance and still provide a strong, cable and appealing door. We are currently shopping around for other bids and if the numbers are close we will be happy to go with Pella.

We recently purchased replacement windows for our home in Southlake and while the windows have not yet been installed; we are confident it will be as seamless and fluid as the sales consultation process. Our sales consultant, Madelyn exceeded our expectations. What we most appreciated about Madelyn was her desire to answer our questions and not push the envelope to get the sale completed. Sadly for her, we had A LOT of questions but she remained very patient with us through the process. The other thing we really liked was her transparency; if she did not know the answer to a question she did not fake it or tell us something we “wanted” to hear. She would contact the subject matter experts at Pella via her cell phone, place us on speaker, and ensure she had the facts. Pella is not cheap; however, you pay for what you get and the service thus far has been first class. A big thanks to Madelyn!

We have enjoyed our Pella upstairs windows and thought it was time to replace the non Pella windows downstairs. Drew Campbell came out and provided several options to match the look and feel of our old windows. He was very helpful and provided several options to meet our needs.

Everything is fine until you write the check.After that Dave Wamstad didn’t answer the phone, return calls or emails. Just couldn’t be bothered.It made a small issue turn into a big issue.No service after the sale. Would have been better off buying windows anywhere else.Never had anyone ignore me like this after spending 12K.

Waited 40 minutes outside their showroom which is supposed to be open until 5p, its not. No one here, locked door. Call the phone number and get oh sorry Im in Iowa cant help you. Btw the doors are $4000 plus installed, dont do the home consultation unless you want a pushy used car salesman approach used on you and 2 hours sucked out of your day. Is definitely not a quote meeting. Even when told I wasnt making a decision today the salesman tried to push the issue. Definitely not impressed with him.

Very professional and no high pressure to buy. Prices lower than expected ( versus Milgard) and better quality too. Would recommend so far. Installation to be done in about a month from now.

Caution!! Make sure to get multiple quotes from other Pella retailers and educate yourself on costs before finalizing on a quote. Pella is currently running a sale (50% installation and no payment no interest for 12 months). Sounds great in theory considering the cost to purchase and replace windows. But the quote I got was higher then the quote I received from Lowe’s!!! I had 15 windows replaced with a higher level Pella window installed for a certain amount and recently just got a quote for another house I’m replacing windows from a Pella direct sales person, for 12 windows, lower level Pella window and the supposedly 50% off the installation and they came out $2000 higher!! Shame on you Pella!!

Had pella install three living room windows. They left the security wire out after they sealed the window frame. When I asked why they wire was sticking out in the middle of the window frame, they said it wasnt their job to reinstall it. I told them it wasnt like that before and it should have been placed inside between the frame and the wall. Now my security sensor doesnt work, because it shows my windows open. When I called and complained the lady just said to send her a picture for training purposes. She didnt try to fix my installation issue. I will never use pella again!!!!

We just placed our order and so far it has been a great and easy experience. Joey is awesome, friendly and doesnt waste time.

Had two sliding patio doors installed which cost over $18,000. It took over two months to complete the installation after being told that this would be a two day project. Communication with the customer was completely ignored and we ended up on the back burner to get the job done. On the original demo day the guy showed up and left after he said he rang the doorbell but no one answered. We advised them ahead of time that they have to call us to make sure we knew they were on their way since our doorbell is difficult to hear in our two story home. We were told they would all hands on deck on day two and knock it out. They underestimated the project . The demo went well but the aftermath was awful. We had brick dust fill our entire downstairs area because they failed to seal off the room. Cleaning up was difficult and our air filters needed to be replaced. The finish guy spent several days in a row afterwards and actually was never qualified to do this type of finish out. They had to send in another team to finish up and correct the damage that was done. The entire project took just over two months and it looks great now. Communication with this company is chaotic at best. No one seems to know what the other is supposed to do. We were kept in the dark. An iron Lintel that was supposed to span the slider was never installed the first time and was discovered when the finishing team came to replace the outside metal trim that had nails shot right through. The finish team completed the job right the second time but they should not have had to clean up the mess caused by an unqualified finish contractor. The professional team that was sent out were all very polite and easy to deal with but the lead coordinator was horrible with communication. We have two additional sliders that we would like installed but are very hesitant at the moment to even consider tackling this project. No one ever contacted us after the job to see if we were satisfied. Shame on Pella!
