Ramseys Rods had my 1954 Corvette in for maintenance and restoration for two years. It was a slow and tedious process, but during the entire time there was never a doubt in my mind that a knowledgeable and honest man was working on my car. Not everything went as planned, but the glitches are not worth mentioning. Everything was made right, and I now drive a great running 54 Corvette. This I owe to the great crew at Ramseys Rods. I would not hesitate to return the car to Ramseys for repair or to start a new classic car project with Ramseys Rods in charge. I recommend them without hesitation.

I have a 37 Chevy. Ramsey restored this car for me. I found Ramsey to be very attentive to and good at managing details. I was always welcome to review the work be completed or to review progress. The quality of work was excellent. I experienced very problems and those were rectified without question. I would always get a smiling face on my visits. Im very happy and proud of my car and show it off routinely.

If youre looking for one of the car shops you see on TV with a crew of 10-15 people and big-name sponsors interested in advertising their corporations, look elsewhere. Ramseys Rods is a small professional hot rod and restoration shop that provides award-winning personalized and detail-oriented work. Ramseys did a 2-1/2 year restoration project on my 1963 Chevy ll, which is now a winner in all show categories.I first met with the owner Mr. Ramsey and shop manager Kelly about the ideas I had for my car. We created a plan with costs and revised it until everything was to my liking. I had a second meeting the following week to discuss a timeline and to meet Mrs. Ramsey, the business manager, to discuss fee schedules, payments, and the overall contract. The project contract included paint and body, electrical, general mechanical fees, and paperwork. As the restoration moved forward, the shop manager kept me updated with emails and photos. I was always welcome to drop by for “shop talk,” especially since Id decided to change the strategy from lets just get the car running to lets get the car running and transform it into a show car.Any unsatisfactory reviews appear to have been posted by people who didnt read or understand their contract.I’m very pleased with work done on my vehicle and highly recommend Ramseys Rods for your restoration project.

Not a trustworthy place. They over charge for work they do and are not skilled. They charge you for administrative time to give you a bill. They require the customers to supply hard parts. I was charged time and fuel to test drive it to see if they did their work correctly. The owner is used car salesman at best. Sad that he is operating this way and there are plenty of better places in the area. Run dont walk away.

Stephen Ramsey is a very argumentative low-life hack. Hes always right and never admits fault with his inferior build quality. I should have never hired him, but there were few options in this area - what a painful process this was. Hes no car builder. Constant name-dropping, you sir are No Boyd Coddington or Chip Foose - far from it. Youre better suited for politics or anything that allows you to constantly blab on about nothing. NOT RECOMMENDED!

I was calling to get information and owner was rude on phone and didn’t allow me to finish my thoughts on what I was looking for. Don’t care how old a person is it’s not nice to over talk or cut off a future customer. Not ok....

Ramsey is not a very nice person. I am surprised he is still in business with the amount of respect he has for a stranger on the airport..

Stephen Ramsey is a terrible businessman and made our car deal a complete and total nightmare.
