Their good but their not going to spoil you parents. Ive been going for years. Good people take care of your animals.

We had been to a few shelters, to find our new family friend and we were absolutely blown away with this place! From start to finish it felt like the animals were being served properly and that we were being treated like royalty with such care and consideration and it really did feel like it was normal for them to act like this.the place was built well and it made sense on how they build it and it was extremely clean

Very nice woman helped me when I went to look at a puppy. She was very kind and was able to explain the whole process and even gave me the information needed for my new puppy.

Went in here yesterday for donations and I have nothing but good things to say about the staff here! So loving and welcoming! 10/10 will be coming every week!

Clean and sanitary. The animals are well cared for from what I saw. The service was also good. The staff was very nice and polite. Very patient and professional.

Could have been more friendly. Hopefully the little kitten I dropped off will be taken care of.

I found a cat in the parking lot down the street from here and the older lady at the counter was rude and tried to accuse me of it being my cat and I was abandoning it. Lived here in Haltom most of my life and see animals in need I try to help but thinking about stopping if Im going to get accused of them being mine when I bring them in off the street.

Helped us find the owners of a dog that was brought to us after it almost got hit by a car.

Looks as if it used to be a nice place. We got here on Saturday and we arent sure if it has been abandoned or not.

My visit today was great from start to finish. I came in wanting to adopt a cat, one with personality. Immediately I was greeted and the door was held open for me. They let us go back and look at the kitten and cat they had at the time and we got to interact with the kitten and made the decision to adopt. Usually the adoption fee is about $60 but they let us have the adoption for free. We are in love with our new kitten and whenever we decide to get another animal we will definitely return to the Haltom City Animal Services. Very kind and warm people.

These guys are doing a great job. I came in to adopt a small dog and asked which one had been there the longest. I took that one home that day, but his energy levels were off the charts and I couldnt keep up, so I brought him back to exchange him for another dog I saw. I am happy to say that this dog is a great pet and I am happy with the way the staff makes choosing an animal easy and stress free. The only thing I could offer as a suggestion would be to have the website up to date with which pets are available. At the time of my visit, they had no online listings.

I trapped a skunk that had been getting under our school building. I went down to the office to request a pickup. The staff was friendly and as promised, the officer called within a few hours before coming to the site and quickly and easily took the skunk away. She also gave me some instructions on the best methods of trapping which was helpful.

Very sweet people! Helped out a lot and Im so happy they picked my dogs up! Thank you all for the part you played in keeping them safe!

Adopted here and everyone was very nice and helpful! I now have a labardor retriever 7 months old and she loves her new family. The location and inside was very clean!

Dont waste your time trying to talk to these people.Being public servants you are in a position to serve the public, not to cop a attitude and get hateful because you are asked to do your job. I honestly didnt want to leave the abandoned puppy with you anyhow, poor thing would be better off where it was.

I came and got two kittens, a male and female. They were 3 weeks old. The male was the runt so he was small ended up dying within a week. I took them to the bet a few days after I got them and they both had fleas and ringworm none of that was said to me at the adoption center. That means all the animals in that room had to had the same.

Went to see about adopting a kitten. Fell in love with a tiny little 9 week boy. Staff was very friendly. Very helpful, and even provided us with some goodies as we had never owned a cat before. Small shelter was very clean and all the animals looked very well taken care of. Which is more than I can say for other shelters Ive been to and I have lived in 3 different states.

I adopted both of my babies from them. They take the best care of their animals that I’ve ever seen in a shelter setting.

The staff at this place is trash the lady at the front counter was extremely rude she didn’t do anything to answer any of my questions she just kept telling me that they were ready to get me out of there because they were trying to go to lunch I will not be coming back to this animal shelter and I hope they can get someone else up there that’s a little bit more polite and courteous to people not asking for anything other than some common courtesy and she was rude and highly inappropriate

I visited today with a cat that I had been laying food and water out for. The lady said well it’s your cat since you’ve been feeding it. No, not my cat but basically she guilted me into keeping it. So I’ll just make sure not to feed it so it will get ran over how sad is that! The lady was horrible and made me feel like it was my responsibility to figure out the owners.Thanks for nothing!

We went here after finding four new born cats that was in a car before the car was going to be smashed and they where closed to the public and didnt have any location to send you. Wasnt happy at all

Don’t wast your time with these lazy bums.I was passing thru Halthom city for the 1st time on my way to drop off an item at the Halthom city fire department. Afterwards I had to hurry up go to a medical appointment, I set my gps and a few blocks away I see a beautiful dog running around with no tag. I was able to lure him into my truck I use my gps to find the nearest animal control shelter which happens to be a few blocks away a 5 mins ride. I arrive at the shelter and the lazy bum behind the counter says he can’t take it cause I can’t give him an exact address he says I need to take him to NT animal shelter. I apologized to the officer and I tried to explain that never been here before so I didn’t know the exact address but it was roughly 2 blocks away and according to the gps this is the nearest animal shelter I also mentioned that I have an appointment and I’m not gonna have time therefore I would drop him off at the spot where I found him. Long story short I get to deal with 2 confrontational “public servants” who give me attitude and threaten me with legal action. Eventually I found another shelter on my way. I explain what happen and gave them a general idea of where I found him. They check for and confirmed he was chipped and where happy to take him and will try to do their best to locate the owner.

I surrendered a dog recently her name is Athena shes about a year old shes spayed and has all her shots shes good in the car shes good around kids shes a little rambunctious around other dogs shes a big white puppy someone please go up there and check her out she would love to have a happy home

If I could give zero stars I would. The Staff is very rude, they don’t clean the arena where you meet the pets. I found a dog I was interest in a week prior to going in and called the day before picking him up and asked if he was still there and available for adoption and they told me yes, I get there the next day right when they opened and was told he got adopted out already. 100% would not recommend!

The animal control officer Sheffield and Carter have been most helpful with our feral cat issues. They are professional and understanding our TNR efforts to help the community reduce the number of ferals. Good job guys its a hard job. Leave a message and they will call you back.

8/19/17 we adopted Jeter with Clear the Shelters. To start with Jeter was renamed Joseph, his weight went from 45 to 67 lbs, we feed him Nutro Max Beef and he has came a long way because he is loved, a true family mutt. Thank You Haltom City Animal Shelter for Jeter!

Someone adopt my dog bubba he a mix pit bull and very friendly and cute and funny and a chill dog has one bite history of a kid because kid attacked him and love to stay inside and dont like to be tied up and he large plz give him love we surrender him there i cried and hop dont get put down to make space so go check on him plz i beg of you 😫 he 2 years old and is trained to go out side to go to rest room and is friendly to others do that him in the photo give him a good home and listen to you

I am wondering if you guys ever return any phone calls, emails, anything. Are yall on strike.? I have only been bitching about the same dog for ages. So has my neighbor next to me, Jaquie Watkins. Kudos to whoever runs that nice new facility down on midway, that my tax dollars helped pay for. Next level coming from me (city manager, chief of police or fire, mayor). Pick one for me....

I went in to check to see if they might have found my dog and filled out lost dog paperwork the day before and found out that they did find my dog but deceased on the side of the road and they Never called me. Very poor service!

There needs to be a way to see what animals are currently being held during the hours the facility is not open. That way pet owners would know if their pet isnt there to just move on to the next step!

My dog run away find it at animal serves i walk out w the dog and 400 ticket black men security is not very nice what kind of help is animal service i think is some kind of prolems there fort worth is nice help u w any questions then try to pay the tiket at city hall wait 5 month to pay becuase animal service forget to that i was havin a ticket i was on the system but mean guy there didnt reported

Dude!Been calling to see about my missing husky since i don’t have a car no one ever answers the phone or if they do they’d be really rude.Also there is a stray at my house and they can’t even pick him up. Im having problems with my landlord because of him.This place don’t even deserve 1 star.
