My husband was having severe panic attacks and Suicidal Thoughts. Our doctor referred him to Park Center and it took them 5 months to set up his care. After they called and did the initial interview appointment it took another three to four weeks before he actually got a counselor. He had one counseling session then they canceled the next two appointments last minute with no notice and the last appointment she never called. So in nine months time they managed one appointment. Mental health is a serious issue and they could get somebody killed by not providing necessary services. The counselor was nice for the one appointment she showed up, but thats not enough for me to recommend anyone to ever go to this place.

Tired of this place... Case management not following through, not calling at scheduled time and not given notice of why... Even had a case manger that NEVER called the whole time I had her... Appointments being pushed back weeks. Almost impossible getting hold of a nurse. Care team constantly changing and shuffled around. Almost no continuity of care/stability. Hard to get proper mental health treatment when there is no stability...ONLY staying here because I have no other choice. I really feel bad for the ones who arent higher functioning...

Only part of this place that doesn’t deserve this one star review is my therapist. He’s great at what he does and is the only reason why I’m still at park center. He’s gets a full 5 stars.Now to start the one star review, every single time I’ve come to park center (except for therapy) my time is again wasted and my appointments get rescheduled for months later even after expressing major concerns with prescription medications.Even when I’m told to call a nurse to express these concerns, I’ve had nothing but rude and unprofessional phone calls (if their phones are even working) which resulted in me being more upset and stressed out about my original situation. For a brief example, I went in for my psychiatrist appointment this morning. After being misinformed about where to check in, we later were informed that our appointment time changed to 15 minutes later, no big deal, but then after spending 20 long minutes “waiting for a response” for a question for my psychiatrist (who was supposed to already be in the building considering my original appointment time)regarding my appointment, only for her to walk in the doors after my appointment should have started, we were unprofessionally told to reschedule.I thought park center was supposed to help better my mental health, but in some ways, it has added more unnecessary stress and anxiety.

I see why the reviews are horrible. My son had an appointment to get diagnosed and received a treatment plan. First red flag I noticed was they had us waiting and it took a lady who worked there had to find someone to see us.. then the therapist didnt give me an answer about his diagnosis or treatment..I was told Id receive an call back with more details. A week passed and I tried calling them myself. I was hung up on 4 times . I had to reach the crisis hotless to get any type of help I was then transferred to a voice message system.... still not helpful this is horrible my 4 year old is suffering and these people are giving folks the run around.. something needs to be done about this

My dog gets better mental health care from his vet and treated better than I do from this place. I don’t even think the doctor remembers anything about me and my experience of not getting my meds for a month and a half then I get one refill and told to report less than a week notice. Lost my 3rd job now due to this chaos

This place is worthless. Was sent to an intern instead of the doctor. She admitted she doesnt work with my kind of issues yet she had already seemed to predetermine my diagnosis and I was refused the testing I was actually scheduled for. The earliest appointment I was able to make was a month in advance after a wild goose chase and now I am being turned away and having to start over to get help.

Mixed results here. I have a great psych NP who prescribes my meds (Becky), and I saw Jill Lane (therapist) for 2-3 years, who was good. But other issues prevent me from giving 5 stars. First of all, they dont bill you, so you never know how much you owe or when. And then when you call to try to pay, you get transferred from person to person before someone knows how to help you and they act like its an inconvenience you want to pay. Second of all, the urgent care clinic (or whatever its called) was damaging to me. I went a couple years ago in a suicidal crisis, and was made to feel like I was pretending by the person helping me and she was literally laughing at me. It just made my mental state worse, so then I just lied about my state so I could go home. Getting refills takes several days sometimes, and is somewhat difficult. Speaking to a nurse takes longer than Id like, but I understand they are busy. But basically I still use their services because of the care I have gotten from my therapist and psych NP. They have gotten me stable on my meds, and I havent been suicidal since a couple of years ago around the time of that crisis.

Absolutely horrendous service! They are doing phone appointments now. They call from a restricted number. I thought it was a spam call so I ignored it. They didnt leave a message but I figured it must have been the doctor calling. I immediately called them and their phone nurse said it was too late and I had to be rescheduled. Next appointment was a month out.Weve had other scheduled phone appointments with them and they have never called at all we call them and they say they are running behind. Hours later still no call. We had to call back again and reschedule ourselves.

I’ve been going to Park Center for about four months and have had my psychiatrist appointment cancelled at the very last second (even after receiving the call to confirm my appointment the day before) three separate times!! The psychiatrist who prescribed me my medication was NOT interested in actually listening to what I had to say and was more interested in prescribing me medication that did not work for me in the past. No surprise, after the 6-8 week period after starting my medication, I have come to realize that it has not been doing anything, but I cannot get ahold of my psychiatrist to get this issue resolved. I have canceled all future appointments at Park Center and strongly discouraged all friends, family, and anyone who follows me on social media from trying to use these services to better their mental health. I was warned that Park Center does more harm than help before I decided to test it out but I still had faith— all of that faith has since crumbled. Whoever is in charge of this business should be ashamed of this pathetic excuse of a clinic and should reevaluate their business practices. Your health clinic should not come with a 2 star rating on Google.

Counseling services were great.That all went out the window when it came to paying my bill. I never received a bill and was not asked for payment. Its been several months since someone has been able to confirm how much I owe, what my insurance has covered, or when I can pay. As someone who likes taking care of bills early this has caused a lot of anxiety. Im trying to pay my bill and get out. Be weary with their financial department before you seek assistance from this organization.

My therapist is great but everything else is a obstacle. The communication between myself and my prescribing dr is horrible because getting refills on medication is ALWAYS a long and chaotic process. I wouldn’t give it 1 star but it’s mandatory to post a review

This place will tell you what you want to hear but NEVER follow through. Nothing but lies!!! They want your money but provide nothing!!! Homeless team is worthless!!! Therapists will lie to you and not answer your calls or return calls!!! Total waste of time talking with this place. When it comes down to it they are lying, scamming thieves!!!

This place has serious issues. It goes from therapist no showing appointments, appointments moved at the last minute without no communication at all. People who answer the phone are rude. Therapist are down right awful! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I called to schedule an appointment. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. She acted like I was an inconvenience to her day. The therapists lie and say they called you for an appointment and they never actually do. Billing is a nightmare. Stay away from this place. It does more harm than good.

Extremely rushed sessions with psychiatrist. Usually not seen until 45 minutes after appointment time. Without fail, every single visit I have here there is one nurse or receptionist who makes me feel like garbage. We are here to get help for our mental illness. Don’t you think being rude and dismissive to the patient is a little backwards? I’ve cried after many appointments here due to the way I’ve been treated. Please employ people who care.

This is the worst place I have ever gone for mental health treatment. I had a good doctor there, but I was bounced from therapist to therapist. They do not know which of their employees will accept my insurance. So, they play a guessing game. I asked after my appointment with my medication doctor if they knew if my insurance was covering the appointments. She opened my file on her computer screen and told me there was no insurance on file. At that point I had already had four appointments, and they scanned my insurance card before each one. I know they scanned it, because I saw them holding the piece of paper with pictures of front and back of my insurance card on it. So, I went to talk to one of the staff that specializes in the financial aspect. Immediately her tone was condescending. She said, Whats your question? She talked down to me, did not apologize for mistake (which I understand, because apology could lead to liability), and did not answer my question of why I was not covered. Its as if all of the support staff feel they are better than you. Park center is never on time for appointments. The decoration and devices such as scales are outdated. I have made appointments somewhere else. As a mental health facility, they should not be bouncing me around to different therapists. This can truly take a toll on the stability of their clients mental health. The only reason they get one star is that my therapist and psychiatric nurse practitioner were both nice to me in the one appointment I had with each.

Was told they cannot diagnose here by therapist, actually my sons 4th or 5th different therapist in about 8 months... did a psychological evaluation took 3 appointments each being 3 hours just to never get the results, even when they mailed me his complete file, there was nothing about the evaluation.... was told to bring his prior diagnosis so they can diagnose which is very strange to me... they dont return calls I called 2 months ago to reschedule the appointment and Im just now sitting here... unfortunately Ill have to try to find something here worth my time and money

0 quick to diagnose, pill pushers, the counselors argue with the patients. If you have issues with a medication they dont care at all....

I would give 0 stars if I could. This place is absolutely worthless. Please find another facility to treat your loved one. No communication, no follow up, a waste of time and money.

Wish that my son’s insurance encompassed more places for treatment other than here, started out okay a lot of lip service but nothing much happens.. not sure we’ll hear back from this

I am very upset with the quality of care provided by Park Center, when I need to talk to someone I called and leave messages and NO Reply that causes me have to call the Walk In Clinic asking for help. I also upset they told me to use my coping skills but I am i to use them if no someone has teach me. And on the last appointment which is next week and ruding called me asking me to change my appointment 30 minutes later that messes with my schedule. I am ready to cancel it and just wait for my appointment at Bowen Center. They also are not speciality trained to handle with people with special needs and disabilities like Bowen Center is.

This place is the WORST place I have EVER had to deal with for medical problems. None of the employees really seem to care for any of the patients. My fiance has been going here for over a year. We came in at 10 a.m. and have been waiting for over 2 hours already. We had a couple that came in here around the same time and were here an hour and a half max. Then they come out and tell my fiance that its another 2 HOUR WAIT BECAUSE THE DOCTORS ARE TAKING THEIR LUNCH!!! WE HAVE BEEN HERE FOR OVER 2 HOURS WAITING ALREADY AND HAVE SEEN ANOTHER WALK IN CLIENT THAT CAME IN AROUND THE SAME TIME LEAVE ALREADY!!! This place is absolutely horrible to their patients. Him and I are hungry and tired and want to be able to eat too but yet we have to sit here and wait ANOTHER 2 hours because the doctors dont want to be UNCOMFORTABLE and want to EAT!? YOU THINK WE DONT WANT THAT?! Not to mention that you guys canceled my fiance appointments twice in a row and never bothered to call him back so he could reschedule after he had called AND LEFT A MESSAGE AS WELL. This place shouldnt be respected at all. No one takes their job seriously and no one cares about the patients. You have someone that doesnt even live here working here to where patients have had to wait 3+ hours just to Skype the guy for their appointment. This is a sad excuse for a place to get help. My fiance and I have full time jobs and he was trying to make it into work today still so he could make his money for OUR BILLS. Guess thats down the god damn drain as well now. Sorry excuse for mental health. Thats what Park Center is. You even have parents that had to bring their kids in with them and now those kids have to wait to eat now too. They all could have at least gotten the walk in patients that have already been waiting before going on their lunches, but I guess them getting to eat is more important than patients getting the help they need. Sad sad world we live in. Rediculous.

It sucked. She didnt listen to me. Treated me like she was better than me, drug testing, no anxiety meds. Thats why I was there! I wouldnt go there again!

It was hard at first... once i was able to start being open minded about the strategy, and not think with emotions but to use the skills from dbt and suggested advice from the counselor i have been able to accept and recovery has been great. I am balanced and sober. I wouldnt trade it for the world

Most horrible time of my life

My friend/s go there n I take them sometimes. The place is clean n has childs table n chairs as well as crayons n tv with cartoons on. The folks I know who get counciling from here are pleased n come out happier than when they went in.

We are a foster family currently handling 4 kids. My wife and I both work full time and as such have had to move appointments. Park Centers policy is that even moving an appointment counts as a cancellation, and they wont renew prescriptions (probably not the best idea for anyone that needs any type of psychiatric medication). Additionally, working with them is more than cumbersome as their physicians hours are only from 9-2 or 8-2 which is almost impossible for working people to accommodate. Overall, very poor customer service, argumentative service, and doctors that dont really seem to be interested in anything other than clocking in and getting a paycheck.

My son currently needs 3 doses of Ritalin a day. They have filled one ALMOST FULL prescription since I took him there art the beginning of May. We were 10 pills short of a full script. Its now the middle of June. Ive called 3 times for refills in 2 weeks and they are only giving me 10 pills. THATS 3 DAYS OF MEDICATION. Im seriously having to call every other day! Weve since paid double what we would pay for 90 pills and were only getting 10 pills at a time!! I leave messages with the nurses to call me back and no one will. No one will answer the damn phone. And Ive called TWICE just today!I knew I shouldnt take him there, but I couldnt find anyone else that would treat a 6 year old with severe ADHD!!We just picked up the second script of 10 pills yesterday. I just called today for another refill because his next appointment isnt until June 27th!! On top of calling the medicine help nurses desk! Hell be out by Friday night! Yeah. Real helpful.And not only that! But his very first appt? They scheduled him with a STUDENT who wasnt even allowed to treat children!!! I had to sit there for 2 hours with a tired and anxious 6 year old while they tried to figure out how to get us seen and get him his medicine change!! Absolutely the worst facility EVER.

I really like Dr. Ellen & Dr. Deb Baker. They are the first therapists to actually listen to me and not think that pulls assess magical cure all for everyone. They actually listened when I said medicine was my last resort that i prayed therapy would fix. Overall, i came to agree that, maybe they might find a medicine to help me. I was pleased they didnt force it down my throat or just blindly throw meds at me and pray they work. I was even more pleased to see I want treated like an idiot about how my body handles meds! I really enjoy my two doctors i deal with. Grey actually listen for once to my thought process and dont treat me Lee Im an idiot or Im just there to get on meds which isnt the case.
