These guys are SO GOOD!! They are both honest and professional. As a small business owner, its so helpful to have a place like this to help with my tech needs.

This place charged me just about as much as the computer itself cost when it was new let alone I use price. I would have rather bought a new one had they have been honest with me and told me up front the fees that Id be looking at they instead lied to me and told me they dont see why I would be any more than a hundred bucks to fix it I then agreed only to pick it up with a $400 price tag

My laptop died, which is kind of a big deal. The only place I even considered bringing it was A+ Computers, with whom I had done business for over a decade through a company where I had worked. I even told them that. I dropped off the laptop on Tuesday morning and asked how long it would be to get a diagnosis and was told 3 to 5 business days. After not hearing I called on Thursday and was told it hadnt been looked at. Next I stopped in on Saturday in person and was told the same thing. Monday I received a call and was told it was essentially bricked. I had waited almost a week to find out it wasnt going to come back to life. I complained about the length of time it took to only find out it was dead and was told you could have had next-day service for an additional 25 dollars. WHAT??? NOBODY TOLD ME THIS! I told the guy that if I had been TOLD I definitely would have done so! I also told him I had shown keen interest in the results: I had called AND stopped in and neither time was I advised of the fact I could have found out sooner for additional money. When I told the guy I thought this was pretty lousy customer service he didnt seem too concerned. So this is a heads-up if youre going to do business with A+ Computers. Apparently they are very busy and you need to ask a lot of questions.

Can see how they stay in business...I had recently brought by a brand new laptop and dude tried giving me 200 bucks for it .(worth 1500)I laughed and said thats an insult! Ill nvr go back nor will I suggest these low balling rip offs to anyone

Outrageously expensive especially for what you get from them and they act as if they are the only computer store in town it’s no wonder they can spend the thousands of dollars a month on rent for what they charge for very simple upgrades. They are not the best computer store in town they’re the most expensive computer store in town

On Monday, February 8th, I called this establishment to get help in learning how to block emails. I spoke with Christopher and he was absolutely superb--patient, thoroughly knowledgeable, and was able to talk me through how to use this feature with my Gmail account.I highly recommend this company for Fort Wayne, IN. They do an excellent job.

Sketchy place, I was getting RAM installed but when I got my laptop back, not working the same day, they tried to charge me another $25 dollars to check my laptop back in. One of the mechanics over the phone said their RAM was priced at $40, I was charged $45. I also got my laptop back with a missing screw.

I just bought my first gaming pc and I am kinda nervous about everything.I went in looking at monitors for my set up at an intro level. The guys at A-Plus were awesome!!! Answered all my questions even the dumb ones. I went back about a hour later and ended up buying a 27 scepter monitor and I couldnt be happier.

They know their stuff and are willing to help you find PC parts that they dont even sell at the store. Only reason this isnt a 5 star is they have a tendency to strongly suggest you buy all their parts from them. They arent rude about it, but the prices are a lot higher then online, and while thats understandable from a brick and mortar store, it is a little annoying having then assume youre going to buy every part from them when they come back with a PC diagnosis.

Dont take your drive here for data recovery, and dont let them format anything. Accidentally initialized an external drive incorrectly. Took it to A Plus Computers for data recovery. Was told my data was gone and asked if I wanted them to format my drive. I explained that initialization does not erase data. I took my drive home, ran a consumer data recovery program, and retrieved ALL of my data for less money than A Pluss recovery quote. Two stars because they were polite and timely, just not particularly knowledgeable. Had I listened to their advice, 10 years of data would have been gone.

The guys at A+ are my heroes. My computer hard drive failed. It had my sons childhood in pictures on it. The techs were able to recover them and set me up with a backup system so this doesnt happen again.

Awesome customer service and they had my computer back to me within a week! Great communication to keep me updated on their progress. Highly recommend.

In and out! These guys know their stuff. I admit they can be a little pricey on their products, but Id rather give my money to a local small business than some big internet mogul. I like that if I have a question, they are ready with an answer. They are done to earth and the service was quick. Id recommend them if you have any pc issues.

I went for an estimate on new PC build. They said they would send one next day. It never came. I bought my previous PC here and was very happy. I was disappointed that no one cared this time.

Most of the time, I have no problems with A+. Theyre always prompt, professional, and the prices are very reasonable. However, there is one tech there who was the rudest, most unprofessional, condescending jack*ss Ive ever encountered! He talked to me like I was a child, and interrupted me when I tried to explain my issue. All I was doing is telling him what I had already tried and other relevant information, and he not only cut me off, he told me he was sure I was wrong, and that hed find the real problem. I was so stunned I couldnt even reply! After he disappeared in the back, I noticed the two other guys behind the counter were noticeably uncomfortable. They apologized profusely for his rudeness, and when I asked how he was still employed when he treats customers like that, they replied that he was a computer god which apparently makes up for insulting customers. I chose to use them as a intermediary because I refused to speak with again. I hope someone works on his people skills because theres no excuse to treat people like garbage just because youre good at their job.

They took my computer at a time when they were already overloaded and short staffed. They were polite and professional when I would call or come in to check on the progress. They were very fair on the pricing and the work they did was excellent. I got my computer back in the best shape it has been in for some time. Thank you guys !!

They have a little of everything

Its hard to rate them, I sent them in for an issue and they fixed it but it came back and has another issue, Im not sure if its because how it was handled or if it has nothing to do with them but my pc randomly froze up including my mouse and everything was lagging around. I went to test what the issue was and heard crackling on one of the tests.3 months later and I can state I am getting very similar problems to what I sent the PC to get fixed for. Its starting very similar to how that issue started so now Im feeling as if they were right the gpu was the dead part but they completely ignored what killed it. Something else in this pc such as the PSU or motherboard clearly killed the pc and they ignored that since Im not just getting any issue I think Im getting the exact same issue.

Very friendly and willing to work with you. I had bought a 1650 super and come to find out it was not compatible with my motherboard. Instead of just being like buyer beware they actually had me bring in my system and tried another gpu a 1060 and it worked. They just had me pay the difference.... That was super awesome of them.

We went there for an upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 coz next year Jan 14 2020, there will be no more updates for W 7. The charge is 100. The other laptop that we brought in was damaged casing which got broke on the side and also affected the fan, so they took care of it nicely just like how it was before. That costs 249 for repairs. They did a great job. You get what you paid for right?😊

I took a new pc build in for a diagnostic. I knew the motherboard was not working but couldnt test all the parts. They charged $50 to diagnose the problem. This was fine. If they provided a good diagnostic I was willing to wait a week and possibly buy a new motherboard off of them, because I wanted a working pc. However their tech brad said they would not test the ram or processor and quoted the ludicrous price of $200 labor to install a motherboard we would purchase from them. Ive built pcs. I took an A+ class at a this years ago. A motherboard swap for someone who does it professionally is like a half hour of work. If that, $400 an hour in labor is insane, and then to not even test the other parts before doing that, for a pc I cannot recommend their services. They might be fine for phones or laptops, but now Id personally refuse to give them that chance.The only positive in this was Dylan, he provided good, friendly customer service. The price he, and anyone else I talked to over the phone was fair. They quoted me a total price of around $150-200 to replace the part with testing for the other parts. If they kept to that quoted price they might very well have made a sale. As of now Im not even sure what I could pay them for now, as they diagnosed the problems I already knew about and now Im just going to skip the hassle and return everything new and buy a prebuilt pc off of Amazon, where Ill have a warranty and a return policy and a labor cost that doesnt leave me questioning if my shop locally policy is worth it anymore due to scamming charlatans.If you do take your system here I do hope you get a good tech. I can tell they have good people, but my experience has been utterly lacking and i will not be using their services in the future.

Good selection of used laptops and desktops. Knowledgeable staff, very helpful. Only problem was we had to take it back in to get its copy of Windows 10 validated. They said this normally happens automatically. Still it cost us a couple hours to take it back and have this fixed. They should have checked it before putting the laptop on the sale floor. They gave us a complimentary laptop backpack because we objected. Otherwise no offer to rebate or compensate us for our time. We are very happy with the computers we have got there, and when we have taken one in for maintenance previously they did a good job.

My company has gone through A Plus for repairs for quite a long time, and the prices are always really fair, service is always exceptional. GREAT local place to go to buy parts and/or accessories for your devices, they have even better prices than most online outlets.

I took my computer in with major problems, guy behind counter acted like I was putting him out, kept yawning. My computer was dead, I was willing to buy one right then, but he couldnt be bothered to explain anything, I left and bought one somewhere else.

A+ Computers has always fixed whatever I bring in. Pricing is fair.However, I never feel welcome. I think some basic customer service training would be beneficial, because people like me who are not computer experts shouldnt leave your store feeling stupid. I only go if I have no choice, and its only been 3 or 4 times but I have yet to be greeted, thanked, or even get a smile.You can and should do better.But thanks for fixing my laptop anyway.

Was supposed to have our laptop diagnosed within 2-5 days. Went in on the 6th day and it hadnt been looked at yet. Then found it only needed a power supply and that took several days to get in.Good thing is we got our laptop back and working.

Computer wasnt fixed properly still have problems with it

Was told it would be about 3 or 4 days for diagnostic. I called in 3 days and was told it was being worked on right at that moment. I called the next day and was told it was still being worked on.. so I called the next day which was 7 days since it was dropped off. I was then told I needed a new motherboard..when I questioned their technician about what they had done to diagnose the issue he said they tried different power cords (power supply adapter). I then asked how they knew it needed a motherboard? He said cause it wouldnt power on. The PC I have has known issues for failing power buttons. I asked if they checked for this problem and he said no they never opened the case to check that. So to summarize... it apparently takes three days to plug in a cord (which I already tried a different power supply before bringing it in and would have actually taken 30 seconds) and after that they try to sell me an unneeded motherboard for HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. I ordered the power button online for 10 bucks and it works fine now. At the very least this business is dishonest. I cant imagine how many people that know nothing about computers get scammed by these guys. I do not like to give local businesses bad reviews but this one is well deserved.

Service was pretty fast, organized, and they didnt charge me tons of extra fees for seemingly random things. Definitely coming back with any computer issues I may have in the future.

Short and sweet..... have been dealing with these guys for years and never had a problem. Mike is a genius and he was on the phone an hour with me as I asked question after question. Some might say they are a little pricey, but its worth it for the excellent staff.

Took laptop there for screen repair. The cost was going to be over $300, so I told them not to fix it, as it wasnt worth the cost to me. When I arrived to pick up the broke computer, I was expecting to pay a fee for them looking at it...but they actually fixed the computer to my surprise and told me my total was $320. After a minute, the gentleman admitted he had made a mistake by having it fixed, and offered several solutions to the problem. All solutions were fair, so I picked one. They mightve lost money on this transaction, but they gained my respect, earned my business, and this great review.

I just came back from A Plus Computers and I was really impressed with the helpfulness of the staff member who got me out of a jam with my Lenovo laptop. The service was second to none and I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Horrible service and low quality parts. about 2 months ago I had them (GTS) replaced the screen on my sons iPhone 7 and when we got it back the quality of the screen looked very cheap, the colors and brightness looked bad (I even told them, but they said that they only use high quality like original). The 3D touch didnt work so I called them and the person who answered was rude and said that probably didnt work when we took it in and he was tired of people accusing them of breaking their stuff. Sorry A+ but obviously Im not the first one! Please check their online reviews before you take your devices to them. Go to Genius they are more expensive but I was pleased with them!

Took my desktop in for repair, a week or so later they said it was fixed. Got it home, still broke. Took it back for the same problem and they told me a new thing wrong with it. Week later they say its fixed. Hooked it up, nope, still broke. Wasted $500 for nothing. The second time they even said itd be free since my computer wasnt fixed the first time. I did get free labor but the part they replaced (an 8GB RAM stick) should have cost me around $25 but they put their own sticker on for $154.99 with a $54.99 mark down. Never again. Save your hard earned money and go to Alpha PC just off Speedway Dr.

Honest employees. I thought I had a huge problem. The gal looked at my tablet for 5 minutes then bada bing, its fixed AND at no charge. I will go back and believe if you need their services you will be treated with the same honesty.

I had my screen replaced on my iPad and iPhone. Ended up dealing with 3 different gentleman during the process. Each one was very nice and knowledgeable while providing excellent customer service! I would definitely recommend them!

When we visited A Plus computer. I got the feeling he did not want to help me. I ask for a micro cord to hook up to a Nextbook. He did not know how to hook a micro cord to a wireless mouse. Then he said I could get a Bluetooth mouse. I ask if he had any. He said no. I ask if I could order one. He refer to Wal Mart and best buy. I do not think I be back. He was not very helpful

Theyve been consistently unhelpful whenever Ive come in looking for a relatively common item, such as power supplies or connectors. Most recently one of the employees gave a half-assed attempt to point me in the direction, took a look at a picture of the general thing I was looking for, then wandered off abruptly mid sentence. They do have a bunch of refurbished computers and cheaper video cards, so Im not giving them 1 star, but only barely.

These folks are straight shooters. I like answers and I trust this place. I use one of their shop built desktops and I love the pure windows build with no bloatware.

Beware these folks will lie and say they are Signature Mac. They are in no way affiliated with them. I found this out the hard way. Also Apple has sent them multiple cease and desist notices because they are not authorized to repair Apple products. Yet they still continue to work on them even though it voids your warranty. They also sell computers with UNlicensed Windows. Pretty much a pack of crooks.

I bought a computer from here that constantly freezes recieved poor service when trying to get it fixed and still havent gotten it fixed. The mobile device store connected to it is much better and has much kinder staff.

Still the best computer store in the Fort. Best place to build out a PC.

Absolute worst most uneducated Service Ive Ever Seen, 20+ Years Ive Been in IT Industry, They didnt know what a Motherboard Jumper was, You Gotta Be Kidding Me, Nor were they willing to sell me one off salvage parts, Been Ripped off in the past by them as well, Overpriced, Deceptive to Customers. Dont waste your money with these charlatans. Below is a picture of a jumper in for future reference.

The people were nice but they didnt do anything to help! I had always heard great things about how they are with fixing electronics up, but my experience was far from great. I took my laptop in to get it cleaned up (viruses removed and whatnot) because it was running poorly. I even paid a bit extra so I could get it back quicker and they even said they would update it to Windows 10 for me. I got my laptop back and it is still a piece of trash. I cant get online, write papers, do anyupdates or anything. It also was not updated to Windows 10 when returned to me. I might as well have not even have gone to them, all I did was waste my money.

The individual I dealt with claimed they didnt have what I needed without even looking. He was in the middle of his lunch when I walked in. After sifting through a messy showroom, I found what I needed that I was told wasnt in the store. The price was adjusted to accommodate me. But the overall experience was lacking.
